Love the free peanuts to munch on while you wait! Although those with a nut allergy might disagree! Huge portions, served hot, fresh and made to order! They should warn you that a regular burger is actually 2 patties. I had a burger wrapped in lettuce. It got very messy towards the end. I wish there was a better way to serve or handle this. They don't ask if it's to stay or go and all is served in a paper bag. I wish there was a tray or place mat for my food when we dine in. That was annoying. The employees were nice and knowledgeable. The place was very clean and pleasant.

It's been a while since we came for a burger. The 2 of us both got the Little Bacon Burger, 1 with cheese the other without, with the works. Big little Burger hehehe, very good. Hubby always like to get a scope of peanuts while we wait for the food While we waited for our order I noticed that they have A1 sauce. Next time I will do A1 sauce with Onions and Mushrooms and it will be like a Salisbury Steak

My favorite burger and french fry place to go to. Let's start with the burger...you get unlimited fresh toppings to your liking. If you like jalapaneos, they use actual jalapenos that are hot. The burger is just packed with flavor with every bite and won't fall apart as you eat it. The cajun fries are the best fries at any fast food or restaurant location in the country...maybe in the world. When I am feeling extra hungry, I like to also get their strawberry milkshake without whipped cream.

I know a lot of people swear by Five Guys, but I generally find their burger pretty hit or miss. Today for example, I got my usual bacon cheeseburger w/ lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, mushrooms, and pickles. The burger was overcooked and the cheese was still lukewarm and not melted into the burger at all. For a $12 burger, the quality and consistency need to be better than that.

This is my favorite burger place in this price range meaning the likes of Shake Shack, Smashburger, etc. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious! Not over seasoned, came with fresh veggies and was cooked throughout! (You can't ask for a certain doneness) That being said, the burger was very juicy! Cajun fries are a big reason why I always come back to this establishment. Great cajun seasoning and crispy fries, you can't miss! Cheers!

PROS: This place was very nice when I first entered. staff is nice, they cook the food quickly, and the fries were amazing! Loads of parking since it's in a parking strip and the prices are average compared to other locations CONS: They didn't do a good job cleaning tables. Some were messy OVERALL: I recommend coming here if you're in the area, as long as you aren't looking to eat in

    Large Fries. Overcooked!!!

I think more staff training is needed here. I ordered a large fry , little cheeseburger and asked for everything. I got home and opened it. My burger had only cheese and paddy bread. Am I supposed to mention the toppings, lettuce tomato pickles, etc.?

All of its glory ... extra patty Bacon Cheeseburger with a whole mess of fixings and no bun. Perfect keto burger!

Just finished a workout and missed my turn and decided to get some Five Guys. Or did my stomach control the wheel? Either way guys, OMG! Five Guys is insanely amazing as it is, but having this capability to keep a keto option like this makes it even better. You can also take the option of wrapping it in lettuce, but I knew with all I put on here it was going to be WAYYY too messy so I opted for the bowl (or tin). Go try it out with all my fixings and let me know what you thought

Best fast food burger in the East coast. Soft bun, beef patty cooked perfectly, crispy Cajun fries. Menu is simple but I always try to get the "all the way". They serve tons of fries in this joint, staff are nice and fast in getting your orders, with the dine in option, I'm happy with my tummy full while slowly go back to normal!

Good burgers and fries. Lots of seating and countless sodas to choose from. It's fattening but good.

Way way too expensive. I just paid $5 for a regular length hot dog with cheese spread on it. Horrible. Will never eat here again.

I've heard comparisons between Marty's patties and those of Five Guys, and I can see why. They're fresh rather than frozen, and they're thin enough to approximate a smashed burger with those occasional bits of char while still maintaining enough heft that you can taste the beef. Their build-your-own burger menus are also similar, with plenty of free toppings to choose from. But I would argue that Marty's offers a fuller range of toppings from diverse cheese options to more premium ones like fried eggs, bacon, and avocado. I tried two of their signature burgers, and while the Swiss mushroom dijon was a hit with my husband (he pointed out the visible mustard seeds in the dijon sauce), the bacon avocado was the clear winner in my book. It not only had bacon that was texturally perfect (crispy and densely packed atop the patty), but also picture-ready slices of avocado. For that to come out of a fast food restaurant kitchen within a matter of minutes? Color me impressed. The banana pudding is dynamite. I'm usually neither a fan of banana nor puddings because those things combined just sound like mush. But here, the pudding is more of a whipped, airy texture, and I believe it when the lid says 'made fresh' because there were chunks of banana nestled in every bite. I admit it might not be much to look at, but I was hooked after a single spoonful (I'm actually greedily scraping the bottom of the container as I type this review). The restaurant has a diminutive dining space (I counted four two-tops at most), but it feels super cozy and casual. I took my food to go and found nothing had deteriorated - in flavor, temperature, or texture - during my drive home because everything is well packaged. There's paid street parking available, but this area of Hackensack is pretty dense so you might have to circle around for a bit before finding a spot.

I tried the Double Cheeseburger, Mushroom Burger, Truffle Parmesan fries, and Poutine. Everything was great. The patties on the burgers were cooked perfectly and were flavorful. Everything in the burgers added something and I never felt like they were doing too much. The fries were nice and I enjoyed them both but I think I liked the Truffle Parmesan more--I'm a sucker for all things truffle. The poutine was surprisingly good too though. I wish the gravy were a little thicker but it was hot enough that it caused the cheese curds to get nice and melty. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other offerings.

There is always a wait at lunchtime regardless if you want to dine in or take out. I have been a fan of what they do for a long time because you just don't see this type of establishments around anymore. They have certainly stood the test of time. Beef patties, smashed with a lot of grilled finely cut onions, then add pickles, American cheese, and some ketchup, on a soft pillowy Martin's potato bread is a can't miss right? This formula has not changed here for decades. Like I said, I really appreciate the deep history. However, if I'm being honest, I wish the beef quality was better and the cook would add a tad more seasoning. For me, their burger has always tasted slightly bland compared to my favorite burger joints. Yet I still come back. Prices are not what it once was either, but what is? It's still very inexpensive. What I consider a large slider rather than a full size burger is still considered good eats in my book. I certainly would stop by when in the neighborhood if the lines are reasonable.

This may seem negligible, but if you want to eat your burger fresh off the grill having a comfortable place to do so in the store is a big plus. Add on toppings like grilled onions, bomb sauce, lettuce pickles and you have a burger worth fighting over for the last bite. Ordering is very easy with the large menu broken into different sections including burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, wings hotdogs, sides, and willing staff who are able to answer questions about the menu choices.
