Ahhh the nostalgia of White Castle. Grew up in the East Coast which has plenty of locations. There are none where I live in the whole state of CA unless I get them frozen which is just not the same. I was excited when a few popped up in Vegas but I thought I just didn't like them as much anymore after dining out there a few times. Turns out those locations are just horrible. Had a great experience at this location. My family and I are on vacation and we do not have White Castle near us, so we typically stop if we see one. Slow experience. Had to wait extra minutes at the drive-thru just to order, had to wait for the food behind another car which had a small order which took time. If it wasn't for the fact this was White Castle, would definitely have passed. As a stands, probably will pass next time as a craving isn't worth waiting this long unless I have a bunch of time to waste. Literally was able to write this part of the review while waiting on the order... Burgers were pretty standard for White Castle which is what you would want. White Castle has always been a place I wanted to check out for many reasons. The nostalgia of this place alone would have brought me here but seeing it referenced in movies and hearing about this place from people that grew up in New York and New Jersey told me it was a must try. I like the menu options. The hamburger sliders, chicken, sliders, fries, shakes, cola's, and now they offer new menu items like chicken rings and chicken wings. I ordered the burger sliders and chicken sliders and a fry and enjoyed all of it. Is it a little overhyped? Yes, but still worth checking out because the food is pretty good. Friendly service with a smile, which I always appreciate. The restaurant seemed kept up and clean with interesting decor of White Castle pictures from the early days. I also liked the little notes on the back of the burger and fry cartons. Cool place to check out whenever you get a chance. read more

Oh so good! I grew up on these incredible little burgers and I love them. There is nothing like a White Castle original slider. I remember when my father used to pull up into a parking spot in their lot and girls would come up on skates to our car, take our order then bring them little delicious burgers to the car. They used to put them on a tray hooked up to the door. The aroma would permeate the air and as smell is the strongest sensor of memory it takes me back to the Bronx where I grew up. I hardly ever eat these things because I prefer good food rather than fast food, but every now and then I get an urge for something from the past and I enjoy them thoroughly. Been eating White Castle since I was a kid and they have a special place in my heart and I guess my stomach. I have been to tons of White Castles throughout NY and NJ and this particular branch is very good. I like this white castle... staff that works here are nice and helpful. However today put a damper on my positive viewpoint. I ordered 2 fish sliders ($2.99!!) and a 6 piece chicken rings. .which totaled over $8. WHOA!! BUT ok...I didn't take my time to select a more economical meal... so I went to Window to adjust my order and was told that they couldn't because it was already done. Seriously? White Castle. For when your eyes are bigger than your stomach but you still want to eat 4 or 5 of something. For better or worse it's a change of pace (literally) from the typical fast food burger spots. Sometimes the service will be SLOW but other times it is passable. There are a number of different sliders to try but I stick to their signature steam-grilled beef sliders (they taste better than the name sounds). The Ghost Pepper cheese is not as spicy as the name implies, but it is quite tasty. I'm a fan of their sides as well. They have crinkle cut fries (standard), chicken rings (dope), clam strips (very rare), and onion rings (admittedly 'meh'). Don't be a savage, get yourself a side; maybe even put some inside your slider. You're welcome. During my high school days a friend and I decided it'd be a fun idea to split a Crave Case (30 sliders). This particular friend was deathly allergic to dairy so he opted for hamburgers while I went with cheese, 15 each. It took quite a lot of mental fortitude but we did it. 5 stars! Why? Because I'm comparing it to other fast food spots (McD's, BK, Wendy's, Taco Bell, KFC, etc). This is by far my favorite fast food spot next to Popeye's and this location is the best one I've been to in the area. It's clean, the employees are nice, and they get my order right almost every time (almost, hence the 4 stars). I also enjoy almost all their seasonal items. My favorite so far has been their Hot Chicken Slider that I tried today. SO good and spicy! I was surprised how spicy it was! Not too spicy for me because I enjoy extremely spicy things, but for a fast food place it was probably the spiciest thing I've had. I hope they keep it! There was a time in my life where I could knock down 30 of these ewoks in one sitting. I think I used to eat them with onion rings too, the large box. Since I'm no longer on big willy status I can only reminisce of those days of yore. The frozen version of this burger does not do it any kind of justice. This is a burger best enjoyed after a six-pack of beer. For optimum flavor, drink that six-pack in an hour or so. An average person can easily knock four minis down along with a regular fry and a small/med soda. I would not condone making this a daily or even a weekly meal, unless of course you're into that sort of thing. I haven't made my yearly visit yet this year, but I'll be back east for Xmas. Yes, 5 stars. I've never been disappointed in White Castle. This location is very clean. The staff is very courteous, The food is, well, White Castle good. My latest visit was at 11:30 PM after a tortuous American Airlines experience from Dallas/Fort Worth. Plane changes and gate changes. No meal on board. Pissed me off. During a gas stop on the turnpike I got the hankering for something to eat that didn't require my cooking. Where to go? Where else but White Castle? Like a good friend, it is always there for you, offering comfort 24/7. My go-to meal is the same, 4 sliders, 6 piece bag of chicken rings and a small bag of onion rings. All were devoured in the car during my 10 minute ride home. The one time I don't mind red traffic lights. Forgot all about that flight and all was Nirvana. 5 stars, indeed. read more

This White Castle was totally empty wheb I got there in the evening on a weekday, but they must be doing well or else they wouldn't be there for the past years. The place is clean and the servers are friendly. Tried the plant-based Impossible Sliders (w/o the cheese) and it tastes great with condiments like ketchup - just like real meat. So have all the Impossible Sliders you want, it's all healthy! Hoping that they do cook the vegan patties on a separate grill from the regular meat, but that's the risk you take when getting vegan burgers in non-vegan restaurants. I love white castle, but after today if I decide to go back I would go inside instead of drive up. Today I repeated my order 3 times shrimp nibblers and small coke $8.08 I gave him $20.02, he gives me back 12 singles. I get home and he had given me fish and diet coke. Wednesday I ordered shrimp nibblers combo medium $11.00 Friday I went back and ordered the same thing and they charged me $13 , when I asked him why the difference his answer was that he didn't know . If you don't understand the order or don't know why they charged me two different prices then you shouldn't be working taking orders. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.
