7 months later and my burger may have a little less beef in it, but my customized meal, ordered through the app was fine, as usual. My food could have been warmer, but other than that, no complaints. They always are never ready when going through the drive in and I usually have to wait more than 5 mins for my order. They ask you to go upfront but no one ever comes out with the order. Then you are blocking everyone who is behind you and they honk for you to go. Just have specific spots for people to pick up their orders. Staff is very rude and not upfront about wait times. What can I say about this fast food chain besides that it's killin it during Covid-19. The line to order looks long, but don't be afraid to get on and wait; it does move quickly. The reason why I gave it a high score, because they are handling this craze pretty good. Drive-thru has been my only option lately since my kid is sleeping in the back. Those kids need to work on their customer skills. I waited to order for a good 3 minutes. Then, I was asked a question about my order, which was a mumbled run on sentence. I asked her to repeat what she said as Alexa would not have understood what she said either. The store is generally clean, which is about the one positive about this location. The parking lot is too small, and cars zoom around the tight corners with no care for other people. My biggest issue with this Wendy's is the somewhat slow service. There appears to be ample workers behind the counter so not sure what the hold up is. The manager tells me to dispute the order with Uber eats, but the order was done through the Wendy's app, not a third party. Ordered sour cream & chives baked potato and they forgot to include sour cream. Ordered a coke float and a drink and they forgot straws... Ordered a cod filet with cheese and they forgot cheese! Am I really reviewing Wendy's? YES I AM. No matter how much I want to dislike fast food...I just keep coming back to it. It's really the bane of my existence amongst other things. I won't comment about the customer service solely because it's a flippin' fast food joint. You shouldn't really expect much from any except for the following in no specific order: 1) Crispy fries (I'm a loather of sogginess period) 2) Correct order 3) Nothing burnt (I've had a burnt sandwich that tasted like cardboard and it wasn't pretty). 4) No fingers or rodent tails in the food (The crazy part is this is true - Ref: Fast Food Nation). My usual order is #6 size small. For all you non-Wendy's goers that's a spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. It runs around $6-$7. I've been getting this for years upon years...ever since I started working at Wendy's at the ripe age of 16. This is perfect for ppl who want something quick, cheap (this is kind of questionable now-a-days), tasty and live in the 'burbs. :P If I lived in the city I'd probably go for chicken and rice, a bento box or a sammy...just sayin'.
