Our order was fulfilled very fast and ready upon arrival, as expected for a fast food restaurant. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Pretty much your standard modern-day Burger King that was renovated in the last few years. No more old school exterior or interior here. + No observable cleanliness issues that were out of the ordinary for a Wendy's. + Private parking lot has ample parking spaces RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------- = Never got extremely busy, even during peak dinnertime. I had avoided this place in the past due to its poor reputation although it was actually good about 18 years ago or so, but with the recent renovations and new management, I decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, it somehow managed to get worse. While the space may look better, it feels completely soulless -- style without substance. I think today was my first visit back since last year. Out with the old and with the new. It was wonderful to see the lovely and modern upgrades and renovations. I would gladly give a 5 for that. So clean and new...the establishment looks great! I heard from other customers that the staff had turned over completely. I think it's time to bring some of them back. This new staff is too busy chillaxing and chatting loudly among themselves in Espanol. There were no customers in front of me, but I had to wait a few minutes for the staff to attend to me. To make matters worse, it seemed that the manager with the blond hair/ponytail was keeping Miguel from focusing on me. When Miguel finally did come to the counter, he did not welcome me. It was not a friendly or attentive service. I had to repeat myself multiple times. The food was fine. Location was great -- beautiful updated space, large parking lot, excellent location. I haven't been in person but I pass by on the bus often. Usually I'm a chicken sandwich kind of girl but I was craving fish on this particular occasion and I ordered a big fish sandwich. The only thing I really have to compare it to in terms of fast food is the fillet o fish from McDonald's. This sandwich doesn't have cheese, just tartar sauce and pickles. It was a decent size, not particularly big. It scratched the itch for fish but it's not your fish and chips battered type fish. It's just lightly breaded. Now they have a up and running drive through so that's nice. Service is kinda slow but the food isn't as stale tasting as at some other BK's. Usually good to go there when you have the app on your phone, often they have fun free-bee's or discount fries or something to fill your tummy. read more

While there are two BKs in the area in close proximity to my apartment, I always prefer this one. The food just tastes better here. The only thing I wish this place had was a drive thru! This is my go to BK but the new staff is not as friendly as the old ones. Granted it's newly renovated BUT not for kids. No milk (what fast food place doesn't have milk) and no changing table in the bathroom for babies. Why give out paper crowns when you don't care about kids? It's a BK. Not a whole lot to say. I pass by here a lot so I come by a lot more than I'd like to admit. Some observations: - No drive-thru is kind of annoying - There's always a lot of old Korean retirees that seem to hang here daily - The line get kind of busy during lunch - The people who work here are friendly and get the food out pretty fast - For some reason the traditional chicken sandwich here is always dry - Other Yelpers seem to confirm that the chicken here is dry AF - I usually get the Whopper here and it's generally good/consistent - I don't enjoy dining in here. Disgusting and unsanitary. If I were you I would avoid going to Burger King especially the one in FORTLEE, NJ . I just now went and bought some whoppers and fries. When I got home and began eating one I found a very long women's hair , felt it in my mouth and pulled it out. My hair is only about a half inch long as a guy. this hair is at least 7 to 8 inches. Dark/ Brunette color. And was deep inside the burger not outside. I'M AT COVID 19 RISK BECAUSE I went here! What does that TELL me? The workers don't wear hair net while handling food. The reviews were right. This is THE slowest "fast food" place I've ever been. I thought it might be different since it was the morning at breakfast time. That's usually less crowded. And it was. I was literally the only customer ordering. There was a guy getting is food that one lady was attending to. Two other women were just behind the counter talking. When the one cashier finally finished getting the other person's order, she took my order. There were no less than 7 people in the back. The woman cooking was slow as all get out. The commercial got me. I saw a deal for 10 nuggets for $1.50 on tv. So I decided to get this and fries. This burger king is the closest one in the area of fort lee so I have no other option. They are opened late till 12am. So I place the order and pay. Food was given to me in less than 20 seconds. I brought the food home and shared it with my wife. Guess what happens to both of us after about 30 minutes of finishing the food. We both had bothering stomach and then starts to hurt. It's been hours now and still bothering me.
