If I had to eat fast food, I'd probably come here. Unlike the Wendy's I have seen on route 17 and the NYC Wendy's, the Fort Lee Wendy's actually has a $1 menu. As for service, I have never experienced any problems. The Wendy's also "looks" compared to some of the other fast food places in Fort Lee. The worst part about Wendy's is that it will attract some annoying customers at times which makes me less likely to dine in. The drive thru is usually busy at night but it is manageable. I only go here because the Dollar menu has good options. I tried the new "spicy Asian chicken" and it was chicken nuggets with a horrible sauce. read more

Recently renovated, nicer seating area, seats more comfortable and soda machines with dozens of soda flavors. Love their Apple Pecan Salad. I will love them more if they bring back Chicken Sesame Salad with mandarin oranges ;-) Also a favorite, can't remember the name, it's burger in brioche bun with velveeta like cheese sauce and mushrooms. Rude drive thru employees...the girl taking my order seem to not know what she was doing and when I approach the window she was on her cell phone didn't even acknowledge me at all and just took my money and gave me back my dollar change. We usually go inside but we were kind of in a rush and my son asked for a cherry sprite which she told me she could not get me. Seems pretty ridiculous when the machine is on the other side of the counter. When I reached the second window that girl did not knowledge me either and I just drove off with my salty salty salty fries. Although I have come here many times over the years, lately the drive thru situation has been a mess. They employees struggle to take your order or take forever to get around to you once you pull up to the speaker. They never give extra condiments or anything so don't even expect it without asking. I've had my orders messed up on multiple occasions. The food itself is generally very good as far as Wendy's go but the ordering process needs work. I enjoy the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad and the Spicy Chicken Cesar Salad. I usually pick it up via drive through when working nights. Drive through is pretty fast and reliable. So even when I am in a rush I can still zip in pretty quick. The chili is pretty good as well. I did pay for my salad once, then in my haste just drive away without getting my salad :/ that was quite disheartening when I got to work and realized I had no food for the next 14 hours! Beware of their kiosks. I placed the order through their kiosk and it was "lost" - did not appear anywhere although the message after the order was submitted said it was successfully processed. When I talked to Wendy's people, I was told the order did not come through and card was not charged so I had to place another order. So I did. On our last visit, we looked over the menu..and approached the counter. Since renovation, it hasn't been the same. Not sure if it's new owners, but service is horrible. The whole staff needs training in customer service. One of the worst drive-thru's in the area. I'm a huge Wendy's fan for burgers and baked potatoes. Also nice to have a fast food soup/chili option on cold days. This location never gets the order right. If I order extra cheese on anything, I stop and check it before I leave. I am consistently charged for extra cheese, but it never actually makes it on the burger. Once they messed up the entire order and then shut the drive thru window. There was a line behind me and I was saying (saying, not yelling) excuse me politely out of my car window to get their attention. They heard me inside, but did not address me. I felt like they wanted me to just go away....but I couldn't since I literally had been given an entirely didn't meal that I didn't order. Finally I honked my horn (lightly) hoping they would at least open the window and ask what was wrong. No one came. Keep in mind the place was not packed at all and it was after the main lunch rush. I started getting a lot of cars behind me so I honked louder and longer this time, and still no one came. Nearly 8 minutes after they handed me the wrong food order, without me ever having moved my car and literally sitting there starring at the people inside the window, someone opened the drive thru window.
