Chicken Tikka Pizza

They have an online portal to order. They also have a lunch special with a drink. This was very helpful since the food was waiting when i got there. I got the Chicken Tikka pizza with a mandarin cardamom soft drink. What a kick ass combo. It was made with a nice curry which was not too spicy so you could enjoy the onions and cilantro. The chicken was well cooked as well. The portion size was great for a lunch special as was the price. The only sucky part is the parking. You can get lucky and get a meter in front of else you may have to drive around. The area is shared with another restaurant but there are plenty of tables to sit at. Its a clean restaurant too.

Stopped in this fast food restaurant for dinner! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted and the spot was nice! I ordered with a nice man: Tikka Pizza with chicken tikka Samosa Spicy chicken Kabob bowl Southern Curry Lamb Coconut Curry Wings Shrimp coconut curry taco I loved the pizza the most and the chicken was also great! All in all I had a really good experience!

This store recently opened in Hackensack. Looks amazing inside, wonderful dine-in space. I put in an order for pick up thru their app. Despite signing up with their promo, I couldn't use my code during checkout, so that was a bummer to begin with. Upon arrival, my order was ready in the pick up shelf. I didn't have to wait for anyone, so that was good experience. Food wise, I liked the shrimp taco and tikka sauce. Both were very flavorful. The mango lassi from wrap meal was excellent too. But wrap meal itself was so disheartening. First they put mango salad at the bottom of the wrap, inside the same box. The salad soaked up the bread and the weight of the wrap beat up the salad leaves. The wrap was filled with a lot of cheese and chunks of flavorless chicken. The wrap itself was a thick bread. I was expecting it to be the thin wrap like kati rolls wrap. The lamb biryani had good quality but taste was mediocre. The experience largely was underwhelming for me. Hope the restaurant fixes some of these flavor and packaging issues and does well in the future.

Amazing service. Good and comfortable vibe. It feels like a Chipotle, very spacious, bright and modern. Ordering was a breeze with the touch screen. The food is fresh and very tasty but not oily. The presentation is very clean. $12 for a lunch special you get a naan bread, rice, tikka and a drink. Really not bad at all. Their mango lassi is phenomenal. It's $5 for a little bottle but really worth it. There's also parking in the back which is free. If there's one closer to my house, I would be eating there at least once a week.

Had a craving for some Indian food and found Tikka Shack and ordered a late dinner for pick-up on a Thursday at around 8. It's probably not the most authentic with their French fries and naan pizzas, but I wasn't mad at it. They had a discount on some of the pizzas, so we ordered a couple of those. We had: -Paneer Makhani Pizza (spicy Malai sauce, thin sliced paneer, mozzarella, hot peppers, tomatoes, and dried methi leaves) - very good but also be careful with the jalapenos because some of them were very spicy! -Tandoori Chicken Pizza (Tikka sauce, fresh mozzarella, Tandoori chicken, red onions, fresh jalapenos, and cilantro) - I'm torn between which one I liked better because I really liked the tikka sauce here but I do also love paneer. Maybe they could do a mash up of these two -Chicken 65 (chicken stir-fried with chilis and curry leaves with a spicy red hot yogurt sauce) - the flavor was good but the chicken was a bit dry -Masala Fries (loaded fries doused with tikka masala, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, covered in sweet and spicy spices) - this sounds good in theory but since we did pick up, everything was soggy. If you're going to order this, see if you can get the sauce on the side. It did come with extra sauce though, which I appreciated - and we ended up dipping everything in that -Samosas (two crispy pastries stuff with potatoes, peas, and secret spices. Served with a tamarind + mint chutney) - these were huge! I loved the tamarind + mint chutney. We also ended up dipping everything in this sauce, so see if you can get extra of it If you're looking for classic/authentic Indian food, this isn't it. But if you're looking for fun fusion Indian fast food, then this is a great option. Will definitely order again! They also have tacos, and I wouldn't mind a chicken tikka masala taco right about now.

New curry and tikka roll shop in Hackensack. Tried the spicy chicken tikka wrap. Made with melted cheese and a side of butter chicken sauce for dipping on the side. Very fresh and service was quick and polite. Very good. Will be back to try other items on the menu.

Not the best pic- Paneer Tikka pizza slice and naan wrap!

We tried Tikka shack so far two times, the food and service are both great! We tried Paneer Tikka and Paneer Makhani Pizza, out of the two makhani pizza was our favorite. We also had Paneer Butter masala as a platter, comes with rice. It was okay in taste for us. We also tried Paneer Naan wrap, it was really delicious. It came with salad. They have enough sitting as well. All in all, we loved the food. It's a great addition in the neighborhood.

Owners seem friendly and excited to open. The place was busy. The spice and flavour are there. Prices are average. Fast food- order, pay and get food. If you go online you can get 50% off right now. Ask for a swag bag if you go this weekend. I got a T-shirt, shot glass, sanitizer, cup, and more!! Street parking. Fun location. Enjoy

Here is the list of my order Chicken Tikka Masala + Basmati Rice Masala Fries One order of each of the Wings (Biriyani, Masala, Coconut Curry). The wings were f*cking amazing. Highlight of the dinner. I moved here to Hackensack last year and have been trying all the takeout places. Other than Marty's, I've yet to find one that was stellar in their respective field. Tikka Shack is pretty stellar. I didn't have huge expectations. The guy greeted us with a huge smile when we went to pick up the order. After a day in the city with every street vendor overcharging for a bottle of water, I will never forget his answer to my question "Do you charge for water?" With a smile, he answered, "Of course not." Best Wings + Cup of Water I ever had. The place is clean and bright, I like that. It can be a good place to eat casually, or just pick up. It reminds me of chipotle except the smell won't get on my clothes. Would 5/5 go again. and 5/5 recommend.

Tikka Bowl, Chicken with extra protein
Edwin S.

Ordered twice on Friday and Saturday. Modern ambience, enough seating for a packed rush hour or when waiting to pick up an online order. Had Briyani Wings with fries, Tandoori Chicken Pizza and two tikka bowls;, one lamb and one chicken, both with extra protein. Prices were average, but when accounting the taste, it was more than satisfactory. The lamb wasn't dry like other locations I've been in the area, the chicken kebib was tasteful and juicy, the pizza was more than fulfilling if eating solo and the wings tasted better with the accompanying sauce. I also spoke with the owner who was kind and easy to speak with. They are definitely looking to improve parking as that is the only issue I see for the location. Not for the food, but the ability to dine in/takeout for delivery during rush hour with all the metered parking. All in all, more than happy to come back and recommend the location to others who need an alternative from the usual.

"Perfect for sharing!"…read more We had a great delivery experience yesterday! We shared the "Bistec a la Tampiquena" plate, and it was plenty for two people. The Sirloin was cooked exactly as I requested--well-done but still very juicy and flavorful. Everything tasted like a traditional Mexican home-cooked meal, though the green enchilada had a fantastic Tex-Mex vibe that really stood out. Even the rice and beans were wonderful. To top it off, the staff was so helpful and kind when I called in the order. I'm definitely a returning customer now!

Service has been nothing but kind, helpful, and attentive every time we've gone. On our last visit, we were jonesing for happy hour and asked for the drink menu, only to discover they don't serve alcohol but they're BYOB. "And there's a wine and liquor store only two blocks away," our smiling server whispered conspiratorially. It was a genius idea. While we waited on our order, my husband jetted out for a 6-pack of Modelos and got back just as our chicken salad was being set down on the table. We asked for it to be timed as an appetizer, and I'd say the serving size might be closer to an appetizer than an entree. But the chicken pieces were well-marinated and delicious, making the salad a meaty entry point into our shared steak fajitas. These fajitas are a winner winner chicken - er, steak - dinner. Since we got it done medium well (my preferred doneness - feel free to judge me for it), I was worried about the steak being tough but these were tender enough for both my husband and I to emit a simultaneous "wow" at first bites. The sauce on them was also incredible, so much that we asked our server about it when he checked on us mid-meal. He crossed his heart and demurred, "It's a secret, so I can't really tell you," but when we pressed for more information, he admitted the main base was "lots of tomatoes". Well, whatever's in that magic sauce was good enough for us to drag our spoons against the near-empty fajita plate, trying to get every last drop of it. My husband and I have visited twice now, and our order has ranged from good to excellent (with those steak fajitas being the high winner thus far). There are a few parking spots in the front lot but being that this is in a quiet, residential area, there's plenty of parking to be found on the side streets if necessary.

Without us asking, the staff noticed and asked if it is ok to warm up the place. That really helped enhance the dining experience. Now the food, we shared the chicken fajita and the enchilada mi bandiera. The chicken fajita was so tasty, the chicken is made w chicken thigh. Some might not like that. We enjoyed it tremendously. The chicken and the veggies were very flavorful and grilled perfectly. They were a little stingy w only 3 tortillas but it's ok. The enchilada was also good. Good flavor but it was Luke warm. Would've been better if it was hotter. I very much enjoyed the home made hot sauce and their signature mole sauce. A good dining experience. Left satiated.
