    "Haka noodles"

It's an entirely vegetarian menu and the prices don't line up with that at all. I got the Haka noodles for $17 and it was just very basic, greasy veggie lol mein that you can get for under $10 elsewhere, and that costs probably about $3 to make. The most expensive restaurant ingredient is usually meat, so if you're a vegetarian restaurant, why are you charging more than the places that aren't? The portions don't line up with the price either. It's actually kind of ridiculous and it's safe to say I won't be back.

We finally tried out this place after wanting to go here for a while. It turns out that they serve Indian street food, all vegetarian. Since we weren't too familiar with the names of the foods and were willing to try new things, Smith (one of the staff members there) was very helpful in making recommendations, all of which we enjoyed. The establishment was very clean, well lit, spacious, and smelled savory with a mixture of spices. The staff was also very friendly, too. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed the food, and will come back to try the other items on the menu.

Tuesday night last week, my partner and I tried out Bombaywala & CO for dinner when we were in the area. I'm always on the look out for vegetarian options for us, so it was nice to find Bombaywala. We dined in. The place is too cute inside - with a vibrant and modern interior decor, with cool artwork and wall hangings (when we walked in, I was distracted by it all). So you go in, place your order at the counter, and then find a seat and the food is brought out to you. It's a casual dining experience with street food done-UP. The food that night was really delicious, and we marveled at the flavors and spicing. My partner loves Indian food, so he was over the moon. Here's what we ordered: - Garlic Naan - Samosa Chaat - Mutter Paneer - Tikka Paneer - a sweet mango drink We definitely plan on coming back here to try out other items on the menu. Note though: if you are hungry and want to fill up, it will cost you here because - while the food is delicious, the portions are smaller than normal (my partner: "I could eat 5 of these!" me thinking: *gulp* $$$). It's quality-over-quantity at Bombaywala. We will come back to treat ourselves to amazing flavors and some of the best vegetarian dishes we've had, but I couldn't realistically come out here to dine in or get takeaway on a daily. Bombaywala & CO - thumbs up and recommended!

Went back to Bombaywala after a while to give it another try. But it was disappointing again. This time I tried the dahi Puri and Schezwan Paneer Cheese Frankie. Both items were over powered with onions. Every bite, onion would take over the taste. Also, dahi puri had too much of dahi (yogurt), it almost became a hassle to eat the puri properly. Was sad to see things haven't improved much. Probably not going to stop by again anytime soon.

During our visit to NJ over the long weekend, we decided to do carry out from this place. My brother warned me that the prices are insanely high, but the food is good. Let me start with the prices. It's crazy high. The dabeli cost $15. The kulcha/channa was $21. A Frankie or Kati Roll is $15. I'm from VA and there is an authentic Gujarati restaurant there that serves amazing Dabeli for $9 (two in an order). In general, the price is really high for each dish. So be aware before you order. Now to the food. Here is what we ordered: - Dabeli: each order has 2 dabelis. This was delicious. - Frankie with schezwan noodles: this was ok. I liked the idea of having noodles in a wrap rather than just channa or paneer. But the paratha wrap was too oily for me. - Amratsari chola kulcha: loved the chola...very much like the one you get in Delhi. But the kulcha was not a kulcha but more like a paratha. I've had authentic kulchas in other restaurants. This was not a kulcha. But delicious regardless. - Misal Paav: my hubby liked it (he is from Nasik where this dish originates). I found it extremely spicy. Overall, the food is good and I wanted to give it a try. Do I feel the food is worth the high prices? Not really. The area is filled with amazing Indian restaurants with normal dish prices. So I'll probably try other places. But I do recommend trying it out for sure.

Very few tables available for dine in. Food was good. I've tried their frankies and cheese mayo vadapav. It was a good visit for desi Indian snack cravings.

We almost didn't go to this place based on some of the low-rating reviews. But thank god we did! This is why we don't make decisions solely based on reviews. I like to have a hands-on experience of each place prior to building any notions. Everyone's experience is different and ours was amazing!! I am not very wordy but I will say this - we loved everything we ordered! The food was so good, we had to go twice (Lunch and Dinner)! The only thing I would make a note of is the Bombay Style Pav Bhaji. We did not like it very much ONLY because we were not from that region. So, I would suggest ordering any other items except for this IF you are NOT familiar with the taste of Mumbai's Pav Bhaji. Everything else we ordered was extremely delicious and super mouth-watering! We also had a chance to speak with the Owners and the Chef. They were also so nice and amazing! Thank you very much guys for making our day! We would love to keep coming to your place as many times as we can!

Our quest for the ultimate indian street food ended here! The interior is nicely lit up and quirky. Their standout is the Frankie and we have never had such a great frankie in india too! We had 1. Paneer cheese schezwan frankie - delicious with a numerous paneer chunks, amul cheese and schezwan sauce filling, the frankie was flaky and crispy. 2. Veg. Triple schezwan - combination of schezwan rice, noodles and spicy sauce - it wasn't as spicy as we expected it to be but overall nice flavor 3. Manchow soup - the soup tasted okay, a good combination of sour and spicy 4. Dahi Puri - OMG the pani puris were so soft and crispy, the filling contains dahi, potato, onions and chutneys. One suggestion to them would be to extend their hours to be open after 9 PM so that more people can enjoy the street food later in the night.

The chicken lollipop appetizer arrived looking the part - hot, crispy, and slightly zesty - but unfortunately didn't deliver on its visual promise. The dough was too thick and the meat rather rubbery, so the execution wasn't up to par. The mains, however, were redeeming. The gravy in the chicken tikka masala was delectable, and we enjoyed this as well as the kholapuri (which we asked for "extra spicy" but was just medium spicy to me - I'm sure others would disagree lol). My child loved his butter chicken. Both dishes featured substantial chunks of chicken. The saag paneer deserves to be mentioned for having a rough-chopped texture that I prefer, looking like actual spinach and not the zealously over-puréed green smoothie so many Indian restaurants inexplicably trot out. A touch over-salted, but otherwise tasty, and with an abundance of paneer. The lassi and garlic naan were both great. Portions are generous, and it's BYOB. Should you forget to bring something inebriating, a liquor shop is conveniently located just a couple of doors down. Owner/manager Austin is so welcoming and personable, earning this place extra hospitality points. I appreciate a business operator who is attentive to customers and shows genuine interest and concern. It makes a difference.

Most of the dishes had some sort of spice, very limited non spicy options. They pre make the base sauce so the spice level is not adjustable. We ordered a lot of the dishes from the menu starting with corn chaat and samosa. Corn chaat didn't really have corn, it was more like corn flakes with tomatoes and onions. The dish was blend, it needed some dressing sauce or yogurt on top to make it tastier. Samosa had good potato fillings, came with green and tamarind chutneys. For entree we got the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma with rice, naan and garlic naan with Amul cheese. Tikka masala was super delicious, thick spicy sauce. I was so glad to see chicken was moist not dry. Korma was a good too. The rice was cooked with jeera, had wonderful aroma. Both naan were excellent, loved the Amul one especially, it was so cheesy. We had the brownie ice cream for dessert, was a yummy one too. The mango lassi was also good, was on the thicker side. All our dishes came out so quickly, almost seemed like they had everything ready to go in the kitchen. It's semi self-served, plastic forks, spoon, knives and plates are next to the register. They serve the dishes in to go boxes, so very easy to pack any leftovers, just need the lids. Overall we loved the food and the atmosphere. Glad to see a good Indian restaurant establishing itself in the area.
