Came here for lunch and it took almost forever for things to arrive including tea, naan, and other. There was only one server at the time. Ordered a lamb saag and it was not creamy, it felt watery, and it was disappointing. The only thing that was good was the garlic naans instead of the main course. Quite disappointed.

This place was quite on a Sunday evening. Went for quick dinner and specially because I was craving samosa. The vegetable samosas were quite good. It was served hot with the chutney (dipping sauce). So I also ordered samosa chaat which was okay, nothing out of ordinary. I was mostly disappointed on the papdi chaat. It was crunchy but didn't come together. It lacked the tangy spices and the sauce mix. It didn't feel like authentic papdi chat. Also the chicken biryani was not really it. It did feel like fried rice, probably the chicken and rice weren't cooked together. The presentation was nice for all the food that were served.

Wifey and I had a lunch date here... it's friggin phenomenal from what we ordered. Butter Naan: solid, but if they messed this up I'd let you know what's up. Samosa Chaat: never had but dang was this good. I think they chopped up the warm samosa and threw it in with fresh cut veggies, sauce and sauce. Whatever they did, fabulous. Lamb Curry Lunch: I LOVE lamb, and I judge them on this above all else. And this was DOPE. Spicy (I'm also pretty sure you can ask them to adjust but for me, the spice level was perfect), lamb cubes were juicy and tender, sauce was smashing, level of heat perfect. Notice the small details, small sprigs of fresh ginger on top... yup I took notice Moringa...if you were aiming to impress, you did LoL! Panner Box Lunch (creamy): very tasty, my wife's dish. This was her jam but I definitely "shared" a bite or two Mango Lassi: lastly, once upon a time an Indian friend of mine told me that the straw test dictated whether the mango Lassi was subpar or not... if the straw fell over then it's "meh", if it stood tall, then it's legit. Well, it passed the yes AND it was delicious, so win win. Staff was friendly, ambiance was quite nice. The finishes on the inside was something to admire. I don't know if it was left from the last place but I do know I liked it a lot. Felt like nice dining for a great price. Would def recommend and will def come again.

New Indian restaurant in Tappan, NY, opened 3 months ago we noticed it when we drove by earlier in the day so decided to try it out tonight! So very happy we did! The good is delicious! The service was very friendly and helpful! People sitting nearby were Vegans and the restaurant accommodated every request they made! Our order was amazing! The samosas were crispy in the outside but tender and juicy, both veggie and lamb were absolutely delectable. The chicken briyani was so good, loved the butter chicken and oxtail curry as well. The whole wheat roti was excellent. A MUST TRY! You'll be thrilled you did!

My husband and I came to dinner recently. It is housed in a large space (that used to be some kind of burger joint), with a semi-open kitchen, a full bar and lots of tables. For appetizer we asked for their chili cauliflower. For my dairy-intolerant vegetarian diet, the waitress patiently explained the ingredients of all the options, and we chose Mushroom Hara pyaaz and Martban ke Choley, a chickpea stew that came in a mysterious clay pot :-). The cauliflower was crispy batter fried, dowsed in a tangy sweet and sour and spicy sauce, truly tasty! The mushroom hara pyaaz was the champion of the meal - all familiar flavors yet unique and memorable - comfort and satisfaction rolled in one. The chickpeas were less well-cooked, a bit more al dente, than the usual Indian fare that we have been exposed to, but still very nice. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive, and the bill was quite reasonable. We'll definitely come back.

Best Indian culinary experience for my family in a long while. Since I cook Indian food at home, I…read moream quite picky about Indian restaurants, and Mumbai Dreams blew our mind. What impressed us first was their friendly, efficient and thoughtful service. I believe the man who took our orders was the manager. When he learned that I was a dairy-intolerant vegetarian, he informed me that the two veggie dishes I ordered - Bhindi Masala and Smoked Baingan Bharta - both came with heavy cream but they could switch to coconut milk for an extra $2. Then he went down the list of our order to say that some other items also contained a bit of dairy. I figured that I could survive that much anyway. Although the restaurant sign says "creative Indian cuisine", we stayed mostly with the traditional and our favorites. Our order came very quickly. Arriving in a cute mini tricycle, the samosas were surprisingly plump and substantial. Two of those could easily make a meal for me. The Kure Kure Mushrooms were deep fried and coated with creamy seasonings, bus still retained the chewy bite and aroma of oyster mushrooms. The serving was so large, the spices so abundant that both husband and son said they'd resume this dish after our rice arrived. The meat-eaters were extremely happy with the Malvani lamb, while I was just as impressed with the two vegan dishes. Everything was cooked from scratch, retaining the fresh flavor and texture of the ingredients. There must have been a whole pound or more okra packed in the Bhindi masala, which was dryer yet tastier than what I'd experienced elsewhere, a truly honest value. Baingan Bharta is one of my comfort foods, and their version surely met my expectations :-) We loved their creative Rosemary naan, what a delicious fusion of east and west! The waiting staff kept checking our water supply and other needs. The bill was very reasonable. We are sure to come back for more!

We had a reservation for a party of six at 7:00 pm and were promptly seated and given water when we arrived. Unfortunately, that's where things started to fall apart. We didn't see another staff member for about 45 minutes. Eventually, I believe the manager came over and took our drink, appetizer, and entrée orders all at the same time. Our drinks arrived about 20 minutes later, and the appetizers started coming out intermittently after that. Our entrées didn't start arriving until around 9:00 pm, again coming out one at a time. Some people in our group were nearly finished eating by the time others received their food. We had also ordered naan for the table, but it was the very last thing brought out, at a point when some people had already finished eating and no longer wanted it. Throughout the evening, a young woman did keep our water glasses filled, but aside from taking our order, no one came to check on our table -- no one asked how things were going, whether we needed another drink, or acknowledged the long wait. The final frustration came when we received the bill and saw that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added. Considering the level of service -- at one point we were stacking empty cups on the windowsill just to make room for our food -- this felt pretty disappointing. The food itself was decent, but based on this experience I wouldn't return. One suggestion for management: if in-house service is running extremely slow, it may be worth pausing take-out orders so you can properly serve the customers already dining in the restaurant.

Most of the dishes had some sort of spice, very limited non spicy options. They pre make the base sauce so the spice level is not adjustable. We ordered a lot of the dishes from the menu starting with corn chaat and samosa. Corn chaat didn't really have corn, it was more like corn flakes with tomatoes and onions. The dish was blend, it needed some dressing sauce or yogurt on top to make it tastier. Samosa had good potato fillings, came with green and tamarind chutneys. For entree we got the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma with rice, naan and garlic naan with Amul cheese. Tikka masala was super delicious, thick spicy sauce. I was so glad to see chicken was moist not dry. Korma was a good too. The rice was cooked with jeera, had wonderful aroma. Both naan were excellent, loved the Amul one especially, it was so cheesy. We had the brownie ice cream for dessert, was a yummy one too. The mango lassi was also good, was on the thicker side. All our dishes came out so quickly, almost seemed like they had everything ready to go in the kitchen. It's semi self-served, plastic forks, spoon, knives and plates are next to the register. They serve the dishes in to go boxes, so very easy to pack any leftovers, just need the lids. Overall we loved the food and the atmosphere. It's corn flakes (?) with chopped onions, tomatoes and chutneys sauce. The corn flakes really threw me off. Tables and seats inside for dine in. Spacious with history of the restaurant on the wall.
