Ginormous (there's two patties in each burger!) delicious hamburgers and BLTs! When I come here, I always order those two items and split it in half to share with my mom. The fries are good too, but we skip it since the sandwiches are big and we don't have any room with the sandwiches. YUM!, YUM, YUMMY!

That's a lot of fries. Yum!

This place is good. The food is SUPER greasy but when you are going for a good cheeseburger, what else do you expect? The fries are always generous and delicious. We usually share a large or small.... LOL. The customer service is where I doc the stars... They never greet you, they are never happy and it always seems like (The 5 times I have been there) that I am inconveniencing them for being there. Other than that, the peanuts are a nice touch. I love the add ons like the onion, pickles, lettuce etc.. That is always a nice touch when it comes to a burger. My friend always gets a double which is a lot of food. I like the smallest one they have! They also have malt vinegar for you Canadian fans out there. YUM YUM YUM!

The friend who took me to Five Guys literally let out a shriek of joy when we happened upon the storefront. Burgers and fries and not much else, but what they do, they do great! Tastes like a real grill-out burger with tons of free toppings to choose from. Skin-on fries are delish and very plentiful. I'd go with the classic fries, though, and skip the Cajun-style option, which tasted a little tangy and canned. Loved the malt vinegar on the tables, though, and the peanuts to munch while you wait. And my favorite part of all - cheap! $3.39 to $5.69 ranges from a single patty burger to a double with cheese and bacon. And finally, great service and happy people - it reminds me of the legendary In 'n' Out Burger on the west coast.

We got takeout on this occasion which was slick, albeit a bit tricky due to parking in the linden hills area by this restaurant. I got the turkey in the hills sandwich and the tomato soup. Both of these were hits and were a good amount of food too. My mom got the same sandwich with the chicken wild rice soup which wasn't as much of a hit as the tomato but was still decent and then my sister got a veg sandwich with the tomato soup. Overall I like the lunch special and think it could be perfect with a sandwich and salad on a summer day

SPACE There are a few 4-tops on the patio in front, a handful of bar seats inside with a small, cozy indoor table footprint, and a handful of 2-3 tops on the back alley. SERVICE The bartender told us to go find a spot on the back alley, so we did - but not sure we did things right, as our server walked past us a few times without acknowledging us. Service was friendly but limited. DRINKS They had a nice cocktail menu, but I opted for an Aperol Spritz. My husband chose off their limited NA menu a lavender honey lemonade, and it was a bit too sweet for him. I'd love to see some mocktail options here! FOOD We just got a few shareables since we were heading to dinner after, but their sandwiches were making my husband's mouth water! We got: Pickle Brined Wings - amazing flavor, salty and dilly, but I would have liked quite a bit more char on them: they were pretty pale. Minnesota Sushi - my husband loved this! Served with Ritz crackers, and it's the perfect little shareable dip.

The doughnuts were pretty good but Soga in St Paul has better. The service was lacking and the place felt cold and dark. Longer version: This is located in a strip mall. Walking in there is very little decoration, a few games and just a dark/cold vibe. There are so many doughnut shops that create fun/colorful/beautiful vibe! This is not that place. The staff here were quiet and barely said a word. Quite frankly, I would have rather order off a screen like other places. The doughnuts were good but not great. While I was there, they were putting out more doughnuts, so may be mine were just older and not as fresh. The Cheetos mozzarella and potato half/half were good! I did enjoy those! Overall, I will not be returning. There are just too many other spots in the TC that are fresh and fun!
