FitzHauer Construction did a fabulous job repairing, patching, and painting the exterior of our home. Sal was a terrific project manager, and was responsive, available, and made multiple trips to the job throughout the duration. We had Tex-Cote done, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They also installed a new sliding glass door and two new windows. Both were done with minimal drama. We did have one or two glitches, but the fixes were handled promptly and completely. They did multiple job walks, and everyone showed up when they said they would and worked hard. They cleaned our property up every night before leaving. A special shout out to Roselyn in the office. I believe this project was so successful in part because of her dedication to communication and to customer satisfaction. Thank you FitzHauer for our beautiful new exterior. I definitely recommend this company!! read more

I had a great experience working with Fitzhauer Construction for a new roof! We bought the house knowing we would need a roof in the near future and Fitzhauer were the right people to work with. Jay came by and gave me the quote on a shingles roof to replace the composite tile that was there before and talked me through their expectations for the entire project. Jay was very communicative and accessible throughout the project and they were able to complete the roof in three days with one day reserved for the city inspection. I was also very nervous about the cleanup since I have a toddler at home that likes to play in the yard, but their cleanup was amazing! I highly recommend that anyone considering a new roof reach out to Fitzhauer! read more

Fitzhauer Construction patched and painted the exterior of my home and it came out great! Jeremy was a great project manager to work with. We kept open communication throughout the whole project. His team was friendly and even helped me out with some odds and ends around the house. Everything went smoothly and they finished per the schedule that Jeremy communicated with me from the beginning. They called me saying that there was federal and state financial help to do repairs. Not true. I found this out when we went over financing . Nathan was angry when I said no. Picked his stuff up briskly and said if you call us back it will be at the higher cost. read more

Fitzhauer Construction exceeded my expectations with their roof repair service. After going through the recent storm, there were signs I had to get the underlayment paper replaced for my tile roof. I enlisted their expertise for a leak fix, replacing cracked tiles, and replacing sections of the underlayment. The field representative , Jay came out to see which part was the cause of the leak. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed down to earth. I went ahead and chose them and they did a great job. They were punctual, efficient, good communication, attention to detail, and the end result left me confident next time it rains. Definitely a reliable choice for roofing needs! read more

I'm very pleased with the service that was provided today by Manny of Fitzhauer construction. Needed a roof leak addressed and Manny located the problematic area(s) and performed some work on them on the spot just before the next storm rolls in. Just based on his communication and clarity along with other reviews here, I don't see why I wouldn't ask for them again for more in depth repairs or construction. read more

If you want a quality roof at a fair price, this is the place. Right from the start, the communication was excellent. Jay was always available or returned calls ASAP. My roof was a smooth installation, the crew was here on time and they cleaned up every speck of rubbish every night before they left each night. I also had some wood rot on the sunny side of my house that they replaced. Once again, more flawless and beautiful work. The city inspector was here this morning and said "Beautiful job" when he came down the ladder. I liked hearing that. I'm so glad I selected them to do my roof. Thanks to everyone at Fitzhauer. We have a 1938 Spanish Revival home and we needed a new roof and desperately needed to paint our home as well. We ended up using Fithauer for everything, including new rain gutters. From start to finish we had excellent customer service on all 3 projects. Jessee, our project manager was in constant communication and was on top of everything on the sight along with Rosyln who helped with the logistics and financing etc. We had alot of damage and rot on our roof and we had several walk through to make sure everything was addressed. There were no surprises or additional costs along the way, and they stood by their original bid. We did the roof and the repairs 1st. 7 workers showed up along with a conveyer belt and once the roof was torn off and repaired the roof was completed with inspections in 2 days. We chose the 50 yr Tex cote for paint. The crew was accommodating and patient with my 4 color choices and old original windows on part of the house, plus all the black iron and gates on my home. They took meticulous care to make sure everything was painted the way we wanted not to mention they were an absolute delight to work with. Shout out to Josiah, Junior, and Luis!!! We needed a company who understood how to work on older homes and the extra time and attention they need. We are thrilled with how everything turned out! read more

I have several roof leaks in one area and Fitzhauer was the second roofer I called for a quote. My rule is to get three quotes and choose the guy in the middle. This has never failed. After an inspection Manny and Saul offered to help knowing rain is arriving this Thu/Fri. They pushed up all slipping tiles. Manny then offered to go to his workplace to collect a couple of tiles that were broken (I didn't have any spares, and their office is 10 minutes away - lucky me). He came back and replaced them and told me I should be good for now. No invoice, no offer to repair for a fee. That is customer service at its finest! I have no intention of leaving it as is knowing how old the paper is. I'm expecting to let it all dry out a bit and, in a week, or two will pull up all tile and repaper it all. I don't have a quote yet so I'm hoping it's competitive. Even if it isn't far off, I think the decision is an easy one. Manny, Saul, many thanks! read more

Fitzhauer Construction came to me as a referral from one of my neighbors. I needed a new roof. From day one all of my contacts with Jay were top notch. He explained the products and the process. The project was completed on time and on budget. In my opinion the best part was knowing the the whole cost up front, as I knew I needed some fascia replacement, so the estimate included additional SF in that area. It's rained a couple of times since and I've had no problems. read more

What an Amazing Company. they came through again under difficult circumstances. they worked around Rain and bees and a difficult location. I'm not usually one to write long reviews but I am so thoroughly impressed with this company. We initially hired them to replace our old siding with James Hardie siding and paint our house and pergola. They also installed a new front door, exterior light fixtures, and new gutters. After contacting a few other companies, we decided to go with Fitzhauer due to their prompt communication, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Everything was easy from the start. They were quick to respond to my inquiry via Yelp. I got a timely appointment within a couple of days and a clear and detailed bid thereafter. We worked with Arren Mendoza who was super easy-going, always very courteous, and responsive. He checked in on our project regularly and always provided exceptional customer service. He was very knowledgeable and patient when responding to any questions/changes and issues/concerns throughout the project. We were always kept apprised of the progress without having to ask and he always made sure we were happy with how the project was coming along. He went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Their siding and paint crews were also always professional and courteous. Alex & team did a great job with the siding installation and always made sure to clarify with us what we wanted when they were unsure. The painting crew, Cipriano & team, were awesome going above and beyond the call of duty and always cleaning up and leaving our property nice and neat as can be at the end of the day. Raul and his team worked expeditiously and did a fantastic job installing our beautiful new gutters. Brian and Jimmy did a great job applying the final touches and doing a final cleaning up our property once the project was completed. Thanks to Fitzhauer, our house turned out just as I envisioned (a hard feat considering I'm a very particular person). It was an absolute pleasure working with Arren and the Fitzhauer team. We had a number of various remodel projects over the years and by far this project was the smoothest and easiest experience we've ever had. Wished we had some more projects left for them! We will absolutely be recommending them to our neighbors, friends, and family due to the care and workmanship of their crews and Arren's A+ customer service. read more

Very professional roofer, their work and quality of craftsmanship is great. Kept the mess to a minimum during the day and did a thorough clean up at end of each day. I was very pleased with Jay's communication & I was not being sold a roof that I didn't ask for. He recommended a roof product that was a lower temperature than what I was requesting. Highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs. read more

Jay was amazing. I had a shoddy company incorrectly install my skylights and was getting bugs in them. We just completed a project with Fitzhauer Construction this past weekend and their 5 star reputation here on Yelp is well deserved. Our project consisted of removing the old siding off the front of the house and replacing it with Hardie board. We went with lap siding on the left side of the house and board and batten for the lower side of the house. We then had the whole house painted and rain gutters installed. From start to finish, this company is top notch. Arren Mendoza coordinated the project and was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to work with and never pushy. He's knowledgeable and kept the project on track the whole way through. Abbi and his team did a tremendous job on the siding. They worked non stop for 2 weeks in the sweltering 100 degree heat wave that we had in September. His attention to detail and workmanship is second to none. Highly efficient and a master at his craft. Cipriano and team did a tremendous job in painting the house. The paint job came out flawless. He even went out of his way to help us install new light fixtures to finish off the look. Each team member are true professionals and take pride in their work. It can be seen on our home. The results were much more than we could have expected. Thank you Arren and team for completing this project on time and on budget. You guys rock! read more

You get a roof! You get a roof! You get a roof! Nah, I'm not giving away any roofs but the feeling you get once it's done is just that satisfying. Fitzhauer Construction are top notch. Everything about the process was painless. Upon the initial visit Arren was pretty thorough in the inspection and listened to my concerns. No BS, no sales tactics, just pure honesty like it should be. I was emailed a quote and the project was a go. Simple and straightforward: all of the work was done in a few days. The estimate said so and they stuck to it. But that's not all... Just after the old roof material removal was completed there was unexpected drizzle, and someone was sent out to put temporary covers on certain exposed areas of my roof. Didn't even have to ask! Then the heat started to pick up so I felt bad for the guys on top of my house, but they were appreciative of the cool water I offered them. Exceptional service: they earned their brownie points and the 5 stars. By the time the work was done and we did the final walk-around, I was struggling to come up with any other questions. They stand by their work with a 10 year workmanship warranty. I just hope the winds in SoCal never pick up above 130 MPH, though Yep, I'm satisfied. read more

We installed a new roof with Fitzhauer. We are very satisfied with the way they do business! The roof is a quality roof and the crew was exceptional in their attention to detail and communication. Needed the roof checked for a leak in the living room. Jay Weber came around and did a quick check and immediately found misaligned tiles thet could have caused the leak. In 2023, Fitzhauer replaced our roof. Last year, we found some worrisome areas. They immediately made some minor repairs. Then we purchased solar panels. In addition to city inspection, I called Fitzhauer to inspect the roof after the solar installation. Recently, we've had a few down pours. A drain pipe with a scupper on top had dislodged causing rain to leak into my basement. I called and they showed up 2 hours later to make the repair! They have extraordinary customer service. I'm thrilled with their work and their professionalism. I do not hesitate to recommend Fitzhauer Construction for all of your home improvement needs. read more

After searching Yelp for general contractors, I came across a number of positive reviews for Fitzhauer Construction. We were looking to have our home upgraded with exterior paint, some fascia repair work, new windows and new rain gutters. Arren Mendoza came out to provide estimates and we were impressed with his honesty and candor, We decided to proceed with all three projects. Maynar and his crew did an outstanding exterior paint job, as well as the fascia repair and trim work. Raul Bobadilla installed our new rain gutters and they look great. Jacob, Antonio, Cisco, Jay and Jesse installed our 24 windows in six hours. They were fast, efficient and very clean. I would strongly recommend this company! read more

Arren Mendoza did a great job on our outside home remodel. We hired Arren and his team to redo the siding on our home, paint our home, install a door, and install gutters. The attention to detail with the painting was second to none. Cipriano and company did everything by the book and left no stone unturned. They sanded all items that needed to be sanded, dug trenches, cleaned my kids toy fountain, and installed lights. They put whoever painted our house before to shame. We are thrilled with the results. Arren and his team were worth every penny spent. I had neighbors in awe and asking for Arren's info. We now have a home we love inside and out. Arren was here daily to make sure everything ran smoothly. His team was punctual and courteous. I highly recommend. read more

Long overdue review! Fitzhauer totally transformed the outside of my house. We had some stucco repaired, texcote, windows, sliders, and an awning done by Neil and his team. From start to finish they were always on top of it and always responsive. Most companies/contractors are lazy, take a long time to complete the job, and are poor communicators-- but not Fitzhauer. I always knew when they were coming and what to expect. They put up with me when I changed my mind last minute about decisions, and their team is friendly, clean and trustworthy. I was so impressed with their work that we hired them again to redo our roof. I will post more photos of my roof when it's complete. Choose Fitzhauer, you won't be disappointed! read more

This will be our second time we have worked with Fitzhauer Construction and this time to do a total makeover on the outside of our house. She needed a much needed facelift. With the help of a designer (Blackbird Chateau)....Neil was able to bring Blackbird Chateau's design to life. We removed the Brady Bunch rock off our walls in the front, added beautiful siding to the house and our Chimney. We replaced our rotting balcony. Added lighting in the backyard. Repositioned our front door to be in the center and installed a brand new Dutch door. The final touch, they painted our house. All of this was done in record time from start to finish. We now stand out on our street and are constantly getting complements from our neighbors. The before and after pictures show the best picture of Fitzhauer's work. Thank you Neil and Team! Fitzhauer's attention to detail and pride in their work shows. Another outstanding job well done. read more

Ron and I would like to extend our wholehearted thank you to you and your team for an exceptional job on the replacement of the flat roof & Spanish tiles on our historical home and carriage house in the Anaheim Colony. Having been a business owner for many years and managing hundreds of general construction, tenant improvement projects and project teams myself, I have a unique understanding and strong appreciation of when it works --- and sheer disdain when it doesn't. When it works, it tells me that you have been deliberate in your selection, training and management of your team. It shows. Exceptional. Manny was very helpful in shepherding us through the initial shock of the project expense and was very supportive in educating us on our options. Given that we expect to be selling this home in the next couple of years, we opted to do the entire house and carriage house so that the next family could enjoy this wonderful home for many years to come. There was no delay in getting underway . Manny was on it! He said he could get it done before our upcoming trip on 10/4 and he did. Thank you, Manny! From the moment Tommy and Shawn arrived on the first day right up to today when the inspector threw a little curve about paint, they were non-stop activity. From smoke detectors, to patches, to paint, to clean up - they just never stopped. Tommy made numerous rounds of the property making sure nothing was left behind. Shawn came through this morning with a big magnet on a pipe to pick up any small fragments of flashing, screws, etc. around the property. We really appreciate such attention to safety and detail, given we have a very curious German Shorthaired Pointer, Jack, who insisted on being their "Snoopervisor" throughout the project. Jacinto was the first to arrive and the last to leave on most days. Last evening, they worked late to finish - and happily! Ron and I didn't get to meet each member of the crew by name, but they were all joyful, diligent, respectful and professional. We are impressed by the workmanship on the roof installation and the beautiful installation of all the perimeter coping/flashing. Well done!! The jobsite was left clean every day and they were mindful to stack materials neatly out of our way. They even choked down the chocolate chip cookies I made for them when they showed up to work on a Saturday - no complaints! Haha. All this to say, that this has been the most painless, enjoyable project we've ever experienced. Thank you for your leadership and management of such a dedicated crew. We stand ready to sing your praises to anyone who will listen, so please place us on your reference list. With much gratitude, Ron and Wendi Hall.......and Jack read more

I'm from the old school: 1) Thorough research and word of mouth 2)Three choice quotes from my research. My considerations include work quality, professionalism, communication, and cost. After a friendly phone conversation with the office, Arren Mendoza was my first in-person contact with Fitzhauer Construction Inc. Arren thoroughly assessed our project and received 10+'s for all areas of consideration; he also kept excellent communication from start to finish. From there, the job went flawlessly from start to finish. The workers also got the highest marks on all criteria, plus 10+'s for cleanliness and punctuality! It was amazing to see the art of tearing down and installing a new, high-quality roof. The team at Fitzhauer has noticeable experience! Our new roof is better than expected! It not only looks amazing but also keeps the house cooler than before. The sound from outside is quieter inside, and the entire house feels wonderful knowing we have a solid, professionally installed roof on our home! read more

RUN! UNTRUSTWORTHY ! DISGUSTING! Young man man to my home today, to give me an "estimate". Asked for my ssn to run a credit report and ended up applying for a loan on my behalf and signing the papers for himself . Outrageous ! Review is for a roof leak repair. Could not be happier with the service provided!! Had a roof leak discovered during So Cal's last "almost hurricane". Called Fitzhauer the day after the rains stopped...scheduled a time within a few days to have them come out for a free estimate - they could have come out sooner, but I wasn't available. Kevin came out to assess the condition of the roof and provide an estimate. He was very respectful of my property - removed shoes inside my house and all :). Took pictures, clearly explained to me what the issue was and what his recommendation was in order to repair. Scheduled them to complete the work within the next couple of days. Individuals (Charles and somebody else, but I didn't catch his name) who completed the repair were also respectful of my home and my time. They were quick, took plenty before/after pictures and explained to me what they did. While nobody enjoys having to deal with a leak or something broken on their home, I'm glad this at least adds a trustworthy contractor to my list of contacts. Thank you, Fitzhauer! read more
