When I initially received quotes from various companies I decided to go forth with ameriside as their pricing seemed best. Unfortunately this was due to miscommunication as they thought I only wanted to replace 75% of the curb facing siding... not sure why anyone would do that but okay miscommunication happens. Installation: where it was straight shiplap across the front, turned out fine. The window was promised to have a symmetrical thin border across as I was sent photos from the James Hardy website... attached you will see instead it is geometrically cut out to avoid the flashing... could have been made thin and uniform throughout however I was told that it was not possible. Many neighbors have gone through other companies and have the same sized retrofitted window but had the siding all done in the same manner. Mine is the only one that looks like this. Even the installer said "I think it looks cool, we never see it cut like that..." but when it comes to housing clean cut and uniform works for us. I was told later, this couldn't have been known before hand until the old siding and window edges were taken down. However the installer knew it from day 1 and said so to me. I believe that whoever the sales rep is should always be forthcoming with the possibilities of outcomes and what it may look like vs showing examples from the company website yet delivering something else. When I went up on the roof to paint the fresh wood I found multiple spots that were not caulked properly or nailed down. (See attached photos). These were fixed later when they came out to install and fix the remaining portion of siding that I had to pay for as well that I thought was included in the original quote. Again pleased with most of it but a major focal point is the front window which did not come out to expectations of what was originally shown. We hired Ameriside to install new siding across the entire front of our two-story house to cover the ugly existing stucco, and then paint the entire exterior of our home. We live in a 40unit townhome complex. Ameriside recently completed a full re-siding using one of their vinyl products called Certainteed. What an absolutely fantastic product and great installation. Not only does it look amazing, but the added insulation value (it's a foam insulation backed vinyl) has kept our home temperatures more consistent and dropped our utility costs. I had them redo all my stucco on my house a few years ago. They came and pressure washed half of the old stucco that was bad. It has gotten worse and worse. I called and spoke to someone and they asked for my warranty. I have the email Copy of the invoice and payment. That wasn't enough. Excellent work. Price was fair. Chang the foreman and his assistant left the yard clean at the end of everyday. They were both dependable and prompt. The company is friendly but some miscommunication. It's nice to have Ameriside take care of the permit process. However, we didn't realize the paperwork was done and the City inspection period provided. The time frame was not communicated and I had to beg for the guy to come back so the job wouldn't be held up. Luckily he stopped back by on his way home. They were going to do rock on our pillars if we provided stone. After we bought it, we were told that they would only do specific types of panels and that we were told this. I couldn't find anything in writing. No big deal as that really isn't what they do. We found a an excellent company that ended up doing our entire front. When you work with Amerside you get all the promises from Dave for sure. However, his promises do not come through, you get leaking windows, incomplete work, very poor clean-up after the job and you will find items missing from your backyard when their workers take down a pool safety fence. For example, see pictures. Promises, promises and more promises of no leaking windows unless it rains hard. Look at the pictures of the windows upstairs and the newly installed kitchen slider where it leaked through and you can see the water stain on the molding. Then Dave will blame it on the previous person or company who installed it, drip, drip, drip. Had the Americote texture applied on the backside of the house and they don't even finish the job to the end of the eaves. They finish the job where the house ends but forget about the eaves? Their quality control person comes out and I point this out to him and he just said: "that is the best we can do"? See picture, wow! Look at the picture of where I am missing the cap to the safety pool fence when their workers took it down to complete the job on the back of the house. Pointed this out as well and they told me we'd replace it, six months later no replacement. Wow! When they installed the windows on the back of the house there was so much dust, small particles of window chippings, stucco cement pieces in the pool and throughout the backyard. Talk about a half-ass job of cleaning up, terrible! I spent hours cleaning up after them. But Dave said when he gave us his quote, your backyard will look as good or even better when we leave. I highly recommend Ameriside. I had four companies quote me for replacing my kitchen windows and a door. It was a tricky job; retrofitting old golden aluminum framed windows and doors with new white PVC windows and doors. The job requires a company to cover all aluminum frames with interior vinyl clad wraps to give a smooth, consistent appearance. Some companies simply told me that it was too difficult to do (they suggested that I should just spray paint the metal frames white by myself), or declined to quote stating that it could not be done, or quoted me a very high price for the job. Ameriside stood out for their "can-do" attitude, a very reasonable pricing (they offered more for less), and eagerness to do the job right (which was critical for a job like mine). Another big plus--their manufacture was local (it affects both product lead time and response time for any warranty work). As promised, Ameriside scheduled the installation as soon as they received the products from the manufacturer. (I ordered custom patio doors from Home Depot this year. Since the manufacture was in the East Coast, the lead time was extensive. In addition, their installation contractor was so booked up that my doors sat at Home Depot warehouse for weeks until they could schedule me in. Then, on the day of installation, they discovered that my products were damaged and had to be reordered. It was extremely frustrating.) They've done a beautiful installation job. We hired Ameriside to do vinyl on the exterior of our house and to install 3 new windows. Overall, they did a great job -- super professional and did a great job cleaning up. I'm really on the fence between 4 and 5 stars, so I'll go with 4 to be conservative. The reasons I picked 4 stars: - It took a good 3 months between when we put down the deposit and when they started working on the project. This felt really long, but was probably due to waiting on getting their supplies. In any event, I wish it could have gone quicker given how hefty the deposit was - I think the price we paid for the windows was fair, but I'm unsure about the vinyl. My guess it was a bit on the high side Overall, I would definitely use them again for new windows, but like with any contractor, get multiple bids to compare cost beforehand (we didn't, but were happy with the job, so it's moot at this point!) read more

We had Ameriside install board and batten vinyl siding from CertainTeed and we are so happy with the end results. We went with colonial white for both the siding and trim. We didn't remove our existing siding but they installed a barrier between the existing and the vinyl siding. Everyone that we worked with was great and responsive. We did have to wait about 3 months before they could install the siding but we were not in a rush so it was not a big deal. The installers were awesome and so fast! We removed the stone from the house which ended up being real stone so it was a major undertaking for the installers to remove the three sections. It probably would have taken two days to complete the siding but removing the stone took one day. We would recommend Ameriside if you're looking to have siding installed on your home. read more
