The dryer was screaming and the washer wasn't draining so I got quotes from different companies using the Yelp quote feature but I knew there was a company I've used before so I hunted them down and sent a request to them as well. That company was Elite. They responded to my quote request quickly and spoke with me about what I needed help with. We got scheduled quickly and then Steve Sr. came by in our scheduled window to help me out. Steve was great! Friendly, professional, enjoyed saying hi to my very enthusiastic dog and kept me informed of all the repairs my machines needed along the way. My machines are up and running like new only about an hour and a half since he arrived. Highly recommend these folks, they're my go to for appliance repair.

Just be a human being and give it what it wants. Vladimir is the owner of the business. He was my Referal Steve was my technician. Steve had to go get a $60 plastic part the cost for them to come out is $125. My total bill was 185. It took a day and a half because of having to get parts I had a chance to clean all the parts so that when my machine was reassembled, it didn't have 12 years of dog and human grossness, it truly wasn't that bad but still. I will call these guys again and again less is more if you have older stuff it was built better than the new stuff that's on the market appliance wise again this was a washer. Through the Angie's list website I sent a request to have someone get back to me. Since it was Sunday I knew it wouldn't be until Monday before I heard from anyone. Well I was WRONG! The email was sent at 11:30 am and I received a response at 1:00 pm that they could come out on Monday (the next day) and what time would be good for me? Wonderful!! They also explained there was a $65 service call, and that would get credited back if my repair cost over $75. I said in my email I understood and I think that is very fair. Monday morning we received a phone call from Norm at around 8:30 and we had an appointment for that day between 1-3. Norm called later to let us know closer to which time he'd be and then he called to let us know he was on his way. Excellent communication. He arrived, and in today's new normal, he was CDC compliant. He was very friendly and professional. We showed him where to go and he went to work on my 13 yr Amana fridge which hasn't given me one problem since the day it was purchased. He looked at everything. My husband was asking questions and Norm wasn't just an inexperienced guy they sent out. He knew his business and was showing my husband which worked with what, what was supposed to be working etc.. Alas, in the end, there was nothing even the experienced Norm could do. My Amana died. She died with dignity, though, and we were not forced to subject her to hundreds of dollars of needless repairs that would have done no good. Norm probably could have tried to make some "repairs" and charge us but he is honest. I will keep High Desert Appliance Repair in my contact list and when something breaks, which it will something always does, this company will get my business.

We went to the appliance store and told them what was going on and were told that it was NOT a fixable problem. We also confirmed that with via another knowledgeable source. High Desert charged me more than half what it cost to just get a new unit so their "visit" was a total waste of time and money. My negative review stands. Don't waste your time and money.

E&J told us it was time for a new machine and recommended a well known appliance store here in town. When that store's installers couldn't remove the old dishwasher without damaging our kitchen, Ernie, the Owner of E&J came to our home himself and took care of the problem free of charge.
