That company was Elite. They responded to my quote request quickly and spoke with me about what I needed help with. We got scheduled quickly and then Steve Sr. came by in our scheduled window to help me out. Steve was great! Friendly, professional, enjoyed saying hi to my very enthusiastic dog and kept me informed of all the repairs my machines needed along the way. Just be a human being and give it what it wants. Vladimir is the owner of the business. He was my Referal Steve was my technician. Steve had to go get a $60 plastic part the cost for them to come out is $125. My total bill was 185. It took a day and a half because of having to get parts I had a chance to clean all the parts so that when my machine was reassembled, it didn't have 12 years of dog and human grossness, it truly wasn't that bad but still. I will call these guys again and again less is more if you have older stuff it was built better than the new stuff that's on the market appliance wise again this was a washer. Extremely unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete waste of time. I contacted this company to schedule a refrigerator repair at one of my rental properties. I provided the full property address, tenant's name, multiple phone numbers, my email address, and even photos of the appliance. All they needed to do was contact the tenant and schedule an appointment. Pretty simple, right? Apparently not for this company. Instead, I received multiple repetitive and contradictory messages asking for information I had ALREADY provided. It became painfully obvious that nobody was actually reading my messages or paying attention to the details. Despite repeatedly asking them to contact the tenant, they never called, never scheduled an appointment, and never made any meaningful effort to help. One message claimed they had the tenant's information and would coordinate scheduling, while another said they couldn't contact the tenant and wanted us to do it ourselves. What kind of appliance repair company can't even make a simple phone call to schedule a service appointment? The lack of communication, attention to detail, professionalism, and basic customer service is astonishing. If this is how they handle something as simple as scheduling, I certainly wouldn't trust them to handle an actual appliance repair. Save yourself the frustration and find another company. 3 months ago, Lux replaced the thermostat on my gas oven. Everything was fine afterwards, until a…read morecouple weeks ago. Then when the oven was turned on, sparks came out where the oven knob is. I called and spoke to them, they said "Sorry no warranty on that repair". They had charged about $1,000. I had a different repair company fix my stove. The problem? When Lux repaired it, they pinched a wire inside the assembly and over 3 month's use it cut through the insulation and shorted out. This is clearly a workmanship issue from the prior repair.

He informed me the technician has been suspended and recognized how dangerous the situation was. He offered me a full refund. There is a lot to be said for a company who takes responsibility for their actions, so I appreciate that. The igniter went out on our oven and we called Steve's. Ash came out and replaced the igniter. A short time later, the oven would not heat again. We were still under warranty, so Ash came out again and said it was a faulty igniter and replaced it again. After that, the oven seemed to be working, but then the door would blow open we smelled gas. We called the gas company and he knew immediately it was a "misaligned igniter". We were informed it was extremely dangerous and the gas was turned off. We called Steve's once again and were told we would need to pay again as this was a "new" issue. It was like pulling teeth to get them to come out again so we had another company come out and they discovered the igniter was installed incorrectly-flipped around so the actual igniter piece was to far away from the burner to ignite properly. (Because it was incorrect, it only had one screw holding it on when there were holes for two screws, but in this incorrect position, the holes didn't line up. So the tech didn't recognize that something was wrong and only put one screw!) The gas would build up in the oven and then eventually reach the threshold to ignite and explode and blow the door open and release gas into the house!! It was beyond a novice mistake on the part of Steve's that could have been disastrous for my family. If I could give negative stars, I would.
