The service is always exceptional, and you might even find your next wife there. You can't possibly go wrong with their, flat top ribeye. That has been marinated for days in Lea & Perrins. She will not disappoint. The food is scratch made, down home, country cooking at its finest! Fried chicken, chicken fried steak, fried shrimp, burgers, homemade dressings, bread, veggies, pies.. it's all deliciousness! We entered and were seated immediately. The waitresses were both very attentive and quick to get our orders and bring out the condiments they anticipated we would need butter, Tabasco, syrup, ketchup. That made me so happy to not have to ask for each individual thing. The biscuits came out amazing they're fluffy and obviously made from scratch you can go wrong with those and some gravy! I ordered the French toast which was absolutely the best it was done well and the bread was just the right thickness. The bacon was also cooked to a perfect crisp. My brother in law ate the fried pork chop and only left the bone. We got a bite of it for taste and we were happily surprised at how good it was too. The kids had pancakes, sausage and eggs. The pancakes were fluffy and the size of a plate but they each ate one whole which means they were definitely really good! I was surprised they could fit all that food in their tummy's. The sausage was a thick patty which was easily split between them. This is somewhere I will definitely be going back to over and over again without a doubt! read more

The food is decent, although my chicken fried steak had a burnt grease flavor. I had to wait almost an hour for a simple breakfast. I asked for a biscuit and was given a dinner roll. In a 14 hour workday, I had the equivalent of 2 boiled eggs and the "dinner roll". It took almost an hour to get my food. It was 7:30 pm by that time. My husband ordered the catfish platter with a loaded baked potato and side salad. He said the catfish was very well done and he was happy with the size of the potato. Great food and service. Check your bill. I got charge for 2 shrimp dinner that someone else order on a another table. My wife caught the mistake and called. They said to come back and they would correct mistake. I went back and they supposed to cancel the wrong check which I sign. They then charge me the correct amount which I sign for. Ate here due to personal Recomendation from a camper at the park we were staying at. Called at 10 min till closing and asked if their kitchen was still open and is we came right then could they serve us. The person did not hesitate and invited us to come. Upon arrival they cheerful set us and promptly took our orders. There were only 3 other tables occupied at the time of arrival and within 5 min we were experiencing a private party situation. To make it easy, Everything we ordered was awesome with exception of one item which was the fried zucchini. We ordered kids tenders, chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, grilled shrimp dinner, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, fried jalapeños, and a hamburger. My daughter said the Mac and cheese was ok. She offered to heat up the pecan pie and we also had blackberry cobbler topped with ice cream. Since they only had vanilla ice cream and the kids wanted another flavor, she came back out offering to add chocolate chips on top. While were were finishing up we noticed the every staff person was engaged in cleaning the restaurant, all getting along and doing their job to ready it fit the next day. They approached us through the meal confirming all was good and kept our glasses full. Offered to go boxes and drinks. This was all unexpected since again we showed up about 4 min before closing. Great job in hospitality, and cooking. We will be back to try the burgers sine the one that had the burger said it was great. And we could actually see the meat between the bun.
