This restaurant never disappoints. Went for late lunch on a Friday. The host promptly sat me at a table in the middle of the room. I asked for a table a little more out of the way. He said I can do that. Walked me to a more private table and asked me if this one would work. It did. I have PTSD. It can be a little embarrassing. I loved how easy he made it for me. No questions asked...just right! IYKUK My waitress Becca was very attentive despite managing several tables, even while engaging in conversations and even hugging some of her customers. Came in for a Friday afternoon lunch. I had the chicken piccata and caprese salad and my friend had the chicken Parmesan. The caprese salad was just okay. I didn't finish it. It would have been better with fresh basil and more mozzarella cheese. The chicken piccata was okay. It was a little heavy on the lemon but the artichoke hearts were a plus for me because I really enjoy artichoke. My friend really liked the chicken parm. And it was his birthday so he got a brownie dessert which was rich and delicious. Over all I was going to give 3 stars but our server Makayleigh got it bumped up another star because she was absolutely great: Great service, great personality. Mediocre pizza and horrible service. We ordered curbside for the first time to support a local business, but unfortunately, we won't be returning. When they came out for curbside, they initially tried to give us someone else's order, which showed a clear lack of organization. After waiting a while, we decided to go inside ourselves to get our food. Our pizza was already ready but almost cold, and the staff was just standing around. No assistance or apology just a casual "oh, there's your order." Overall, very disappointing experience. This level of service just reflects the lack of competent management/people. We tried Pizza Shack for the first time this past weekend. We got the fried ravioli, artichoke dip, boneless wings, a medium spinach/garlic pizza, a medium half cheese/pepperoni pizza and tiramisu. We wanted to try a little bit of everything and all of it together was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. First time trying The Pizza Shack and they didn't disappoint! It's located in such an accessible part of town. The parking lot was clean and the glass doors were clean also. When we walked inside, I felt like I was walking into authentic vintage pizza shop. They have the showcase of the desserts upfront along with the wine selection, such a pizzeria touch. My server Garrett, was awesome. He was neatly dressed in his uniform and was so attentive. He offered a few suggestions and we went with the Greek salad and the garlic knots to start off. The vinaigrette dressing hit the spot. I can tell it was house made. I loved the vinaigrette taste. We Ordered (The All Meat) and personal pepperoni pizza. I'm so glad authentic pizza spots still exists. I'm a sucker for some good pepperoni and their pepperoni was pretty darn good. This place is great if it's just you and your date and even for family night. My kids and I really enjoyed the spot and the table was big enough for two high chairs. 1.13.23 My daughter stopped in here to pick up some pizzas for lunch for the work crew. She ordered 3 large pizzas. 1 supreme, 1 cheese and 1 Hawaiian. My daughter said the inside was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. The menu is quite large. Pizzas, salads, calzones, desserts and more. They have a dessert cabinet too! Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The day we went we tried a variety of menu items- fried zucchini, spaghetti with meatballs, Italian Trio, and a Redfish dinner. The pizza shack in Willis is a great place, especially on Wednesdays at lunch. They have a lunch buffet and you get to try a variety of their pizzas, desserts, and salads. Pizza shack makes pizza the old-fashioned way and they put put plenty of cheese and toppings on their pizza. What a great pizza place. They have a really cool story, wonderful service, and exceptional pizza. I tried them today for the first time on a recommendation, and I was impressed. Started with fried zucchini. Beautiful, good sized, and tasty. Salad and fried mushrooms were next, followed by pizza. It seemed proper to try the pizza, and I'd never had brisket pizza that I can remember. It was really good; the dough was fresh, and the crust...delicious. I live near Austin but eat at Pizza Shack anytime I visit family in Conroe. Everything I've eaten here is amazing but my very favorite is their pizza! It is truly the best I've ever eaten.
