Today, we decided to go to lunch at Chili's. Our server, Alyssa, was very attentive and helpful. The bartender was amazing, and the resolution breaker was also excellent but that's where the positives end. The presentation of the food was good, and the restaurant itself was very clean. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were cold, and the steak was overcooked and tough. It didn't taste like a ribeye at all. The broccoli was the best part. First, I am very glad Chili's opened in Willis and the food has been good each time. However, tonight we were both annoyed. Walked in and the restaurant was basically empty (it was just before dinner hour). I asked for a booth, all booths by every window were empty. The hostess seated us way in the back by the restrooms. I asked for a different booth and she said the others were dirty. There wasn't any dishes on any of those tables, maybe they just needed to be wiped down. Yesterday was my 2nd time to visit the new Chili's in Willis, Texas. Both visits have been perfect. On my first visit, which was on Labor Day, my server was Jay. The service and food were awesome. Jay is such a wonderful server. The restaurant wasn't too busy so we were able to chat and I learned he is in culinary school. I told my son about the wonderful experience and when I told him the server's name, he literally screamed, "JAY!!! We love Jay and miss him." Apparently he was a server at the Huntsville Chili's where my son and his co-workers often visit and Jay was frequently their server. Small world! So on my 2nd visit, yesterday, my server said his name is C. Just C, no other letters. Very easy to remember. He was also a wonderful server. The food was excellent both times. I had the same thing each time-Smash Burger with fries. It's sooo food. Cooked just right. I am so happy Chili's built a restaurant here. The one in Conroe is not far, but it is much bigger and usually much busier because Conroe is at least 20 times bigger than Willis. So thank you Chili's, Jay and C! read more

The food was good. Hot and fresh but the flour tortillas were chewy. Had a hard time chewing them up. My guess they were microwaved and then wrap in foil. They were all stuck together. Today's visit was such a disappointment. The food was good, HOWEVER the interactions I had with a manager named Haley was nothing short of ridiculous. She's rude and has a poor attitude and SHOULD NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. How she became a manager is beyond me. The disrespect she had towards me, my family AND the other staff was absolutely unprofessional. This location needs to take out the trash and FIRE HALEY before business starts to suffer because she doesn't know how to treat people!!!! read more

Chili's doesn't always have the best reputation for cleanliness or food consistency, but this location is a total standout. My wife and I decided to stop in for something different, and we were blown away. The restaurant is spotless, the food has been fresh and consistently delicious, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Nico was absolutely the best server we've ever had. Not only is he an incredible human being who genuinely took care of us, but he's also a trainer--and it shows. He's setting the bar extremely high. Chili's, don't let this guy go--he's one of a kind. We've been back twice in a week and a half, and both visits were equally excellent. This has officially become our go-to spot. If you've had a bad experience with Chili's in the past, do yourself a favor and visit this location in Willis. I ordered take out and was pleased to be greeted enthusiastically. We got SW egg rolls. The filling was delicious however they were undercooked. They were soggy.
