We are learning that most of the Mexican food places are considered Tex-Mex. The food at this location was very close to what we are used to. We ordered a chicken chimichanga with fajita chicken meat and a chicken enchilada. They both came with beans and rice. The chips and salsa were very good with a mild salsa. The chicken enchilada came with a green sauce and the chimichanga came with a red sauce that they call chili gravy. The service at the location was very good. They were attentive and kept our drinks full. The cost of the chimichanga with beans and rice and the chicken enchilada with beans and rice and one iced tea and one 7-Up came to $40 with a tip. This is a location we will visit again.

The second time, there was a large, Hispanic woman coughing repeatedly without a mask or covering! I advised my daughter and son in law to go elsewhere. They excused the woman's behavior saying it was probably allergies. So we stayed, against my better judgment. The next morning I awoke with a severe sore throat and a fever !!! I have a heart ailment and other complications, I do NOT need Covid, the flu or some other communicable disease from a waitress that did not spare the customers from her sickness! Whoever the owner is, please know I will have a lab DNA type the strain of whatever I have If I am hospitalized, my family will push the same from that waitress. The HEALTH DEPARTMENT needs to take notice as well. El Tapatio's ice machine needs to be inspected as does their wait staff.

It was savory, tender and spiced well enough to stand on its own without the bun and fixins. As for the meal, we had more than enough to sate our appetite. Noticed they had a ad on Facebook and wanted to take advantage of this promotion before I have to do a morning shift myself. Well one lady answered pretty unprofessional by just saying hello. She was not aware of the promotion so then gave me to another person who was very rude and unprofessional named Rebecca. I asked her if she was aware but she mentioned only the kitchen staff would know. But the promotion has a barcode that they need to scan so I asked well is it the kitchen staff that's charges the taco out. She said no they don't but they provide the codes we need to charge out and then hangs up. I called back asked for her name and her store manager who's name is Pamela. Hopefully these are right but today is 10/18/20 and it's 4:44pm so they can figure out who's shift it was. Gonna be calling Pamela and see what can be done to rectify this situation because this was truly unprofessional and no one should have to be treated with the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism.
