Food very delicious I couldn't wait to eat it before taking a picture !! Service is great also

Let's get a few things straight first: * This is not a fine dining establishment so I'm comparing it against other casual dining spots (but expect more than fast food) * I tend to avoid buffets, even pre COVID, as you don't know how long it's been sitting there. * I'm not worrying about authenticity -- just food I enjoy eating. I will let others decide if it's truly Chinese. I was craving Chinese and, with Mandarin Gourmet closed, I don't have a go-to spot. We decided to try First Wok based on reviews. And, of course, we ordered way too much so we could sample the menu. On to the food: Hot & sour soup -- the large is enough for 3-4 people. I liked the spiciness but wish it had a bit more egg and a few more mushrooms. Chicken rice noodle -- essentially stir fry with rice noodles instead of rice or noodles. A surprisingly flavorful dish. Mixed vegetable with tofu -- the only dish we wouldn't repeat. Not bad but just not remarkable. Vegetables were good but the tofu was bland. Sautéed three ingredient -- prawns, scallops, and squid with a ton of snow peas and some carrots. The oyster sauce was very good. Did I say it was a LOT of snow peas? BBQ pork with string beans -- sliced BBQ pork with a generous amount of string beans. Quite good but I would have enjoyed a little more spice; maybe more garlic? The above was enough food for two people over three meals, and we ate well each time. If you don't mind buffets, you can walk in and order a three item combo. It's fast and easy, even during COVID times. As Arnold would say, I'll be back.

Not a nice experience

Love the egg foo young. I always dine in because I like the atmosphere. The lady that works the day shift is super nice. I highly recommend.

Are they still in operation? They were closed when I came today around 6 pm, despite having a sign saying they were open 7 days.

Yes they are open although there was a small period of time they were not open (without any signage stating why) during the time you visited. However they are back at it and making excellent sesame shrimp, ginger beef, roast pork chow men and…

Usually you might remember the experience, an entree, but the name will elude you. Home Eat is a memorable name, and while it isn't a phrase that we might use often, it feels like a perfect encapsulation of the feeling of eating here, even if I've never eaten like this in my home or in any. Known for the chicken wings, yes, but try more. You may eat like a king or queen with just a few orders, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be the best Chinese cuisine I've ever sampled. Great service too: fast and friendly.

I asked an inside table, not unreasonable considering I had four people and two physically restrained. He flat-out refused citing that's for five people even though tables were empty. The older female staff granted us right away. They need more training in how to communicate with customers and be accommodating and considerate. Later on this unprofessional amateur gave me a dissaproving look. Since when did the service become a dumpster fire?? Did he buy this place? Definitely taking ownership in a twisted manner. Remember Customers are always right in almost any circumstances. Your job is to make me happy. Food was still ok. There was no service yet they engerly expect you to tip them 18% for non existent service. What a lazy place.

The meat was so tender, the rice was the perfect amount of the softness, and the flavor was so satisfying and 香. Every bite melts in your mouth. Had a piece of popcorn chicken which was decent. Friend ordered one of the house special rice noodles which looked good as well, I'll probably order one of their noodles next time to try out. Service was friendly, they refilled our water twice! Environment was relatively clean, but tables were crowded a bit close together and it was a bit loud to the point where I couldn't hear my friend talk even leaning in sitting right across from her.

The place is clean and spacious with plenty of parking. Ordering is via QR code which I am not a fan of. I ordered the Rice noodle with beef ribs and pickled mustard. The broth was rich with flavor but I still added green onions and hot sauce. It was a big bowl of soup which I took home 1/2 for another meal. I ate carefully so as not to soil my special outfit. Kudos to me. Good food, good place. Too bad we forgot to take a group pic of ourselves.
