Sadly the help at First Watch needs some more "help". Please know that you should not treat your customer like a second class citizen because they don't have your "app". Absolutely ridiculous that someone who chooses to not use the app gets treated this way. Will not return. Just want to add we would have been happy to load the app and continue patronizing this establishment had the employees including the manager not treated us and many others so poorly. Please advise management and corporate that customer service still means something. read more

One of the cutest places I've visited in Williamsburg. Is trendy yet traditional. However, the menu is definitely NOT your traditional brunch menu. It's is so creative, delicious and healthy. Everything is so fresh. Recommend the Market Hash and the Açaí bowl. First place Ive seen non-dairy creamer on the table. A def place to stop by when in town. BTW, service is super awesome and very helpful. . read more

Food and service has always been very good. Staff is fast, friendly, and always on point.

The food was delectable and this location was definitely the nicest that I've seen so far! Super happy I decided to visit while I was out of town. I got a few of my favorite items like the Farmhouse hash, banana granola pancakes, million dollar bacon. Big fan of the coffee too. I will always come back here when in Williamsburg! read more

We came here for breakfast on an early Sunday morning. The parking lot was nice and empty and the restaurant had maybe two other tables. We were seated and the staff was attentive. But what blew us away was the attention they gave to my nephew's life-or-death food allergies. The server knew every item's potential risk off the top of her head. They write separate tickets for allergies and make suggestions for the allergy. The kitchen staff changes gloves, uses allergy free cooking surfaces, and doesn't cross contaminate surfaces. Amazing for a toddler who will go into anaphylaxis. I'm still amazed! read more

This was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time! There is something for everyone- heartier meat and potatoes options for my husband, and lighter (but delicious) healthy options for me. The Bravado omelet (bacon, avocado, Monterey Jack) was so fluffy and just the right portion size. Next time I will try the avocado toast but loved seeing this type of brunch option on the menu! The yogurt berry/granola bowl also looked great! My absolute favorite was the surprisingly delicious kale tonic juice. I love my green juice and will drink it no matter what, but this was delicious, sweet from the fresh squeezed apple mixed in with the kale, and was the best fresh squeezed green juice ever. I only wish I lived closer! We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Williamsburg! read more

I went here for the first time today. It is a cold day and I placed an order to go. They would not let me wait in the restaurant due to COVID (Delusional). Even though everyone who was in the restaurant was sitting at a table, I had to wait outside because of social distancing. Seriously?? Since they wouldn't let me wait inside and I was parked right out front, I asked if they would bring it out to my car and pointed it out. They said, no. I guess their masks aren't working and Covid can only get you when you are walking to your table, but not when you sit down. Wake up sheeple! read more

We love the food here and the past two times we have really enjoyed the service. However, this past visit the hostess was extremely rude. We walk in and she immediately asks for a name. After we respond, she says "are you even on the list?" Then we say no we are looking to see what the wait is, which we usually don't mind. Typically there is a half hour wait when we come as this is a busy place. She says "well I'm going to need your name and number" giving gestures with her hands as if we need to hurry it up. The people behind us even raised their eyebrows. She continued on to say "if you go anywhere else you're just going to have to wait." As soon as I walked out those doors I was so put off by her attitude. You can be busy but it never gives you license to greet customers like that. We went somewhere else. Very nice hostess. We waited 30min. Great service. The way you greet your customers matter. Btw I used to work as a hostess and a server. Otherwise, this is great place. All the waiting staff we have interacted with have been very sweet and excellent. read more

Well, I remember when they took over former good restaurants. So we thought , "let's see if they changed". They did! Some specialized offerings are really great , but Prices? TOO MUCH! Just because of fancy names. Tried two different places but came away feeling ripped off. It's ok if you have money to throw away, but for us, it's way too expensive for what you get. Very disappointed! And I'm a guy who likes almost anything! read more

Great new p;ace in Williamsburg. Food was fantastic except for the bisquits and gravy. The gravy was weird and tastless but everything else was great. had breakfast only. Looking forward to trying lunch and dinner. Service was great read more

Slow service but very busy. Long check out line due one person acting as hostess and cashier. But great food. I Had: BLTE (BLT + Egg) -- excellent Kale/Fruit tonic -- ditto Yellow grits -- best ever read more

My family thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals and the service at First Watch Restaurant in Virginia Beach. This was our first experience and I know that we're already planning our next visit. My A.M. Superfoods Bowl was absolutely delicious. I truly didn't know exactly how it would taste, but our waiter made an accurate explanation of coconut pudding with chai seeds, fresh berries and granola served with a freshly baked cranberry orange muffin. Everything was out of this world delicious! My husband ordered the Farm House Hash, which came with in a bowl filled bacon and cut potatoes and topped with slices of fresh avocados and two fresh cage-free sunny-side eggs, along with toast and preserves. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service (I HATE THAT I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF OUR WAITER BECAUSE HE WAS EXCEPTIONAL TOO!) Thank you First Watch for an extraordinary experience, which happened to be our first meal here since we just relocated from California, and we were delighted! read more

My worst visit to any First Watch restaurant, and I love eating there. Part of my disappointment is the "new normal" in sit-down dining, such as no condiments or water (unless you ask). But most of the issue was staff-related. I have NEVER waited this long for a server to come to the table, and it was not busy. Once coffee arrived, then I was asked if I wanted cream or sugar. That took so long that cream and sugar arrived with my meal! Salt and pepper served separately in packets, y'know, the processed kind? Very unsettling, I'll talk with the manager before I return. read more

We've been to many places for breakfast in many cities, but few compare to the food quality, menu, selection, presentation, service. We like the atmosphere as well. Prices are very reasonable. We particularly like the healthy food options. And their pancakes are fabulous. read more

The poached egg came out basically hard boiled and the "million dollar bacon" was flabby and undercooked. I love their other locations and hope this one improves with time. read more

This remarkable restaurant sits humbly beside the local Outback and exceeds the latter for innovation and creativity. There is a large and compelling menu, with both traditional dishes and colorful gourmet takes that will knock your socks off. Original, smart, fun, and dee-licious! Think modern, efficient, Brennan's of New Orleans but without alcohol and only for breakfast and luncheon until 2:30. This a winner. read more

Had brunch at First Watch with my mom on Sunday and the eggs Benedict is so delicious! Great service and food. Worth the wait times on a busy Sunday read more

First time coming here and I'll definitely be back! The biscuits and turkey sausage gravy was banging awesome! Definitely filling and hits the spot. The Morning Meditation drink is really good to, and a great substitute to coffee. Well done, all around. Oh and if they have a breakfast bar, it's first come first serve, go that route, it's better than waiting. read more

Always short staffed. Don't go unless you have 2.5 hours for breakfast. Despite being painfully slow they will interrupt your order to upsell you kale juice and other stuff you didn't come in for. read more

We checked in and were told the wait time was approximately 30 minutes. After about 50 minutes we questioned whether a table would be available soon and we were told we would be seated soon. It appeared that perhaps others that checked in after we had were already seated. We tried not to be judgements and just "moved on". We had barely finished half our meal when our waitress delivered our bill and that was the last encounter we had with her. We typically don't give bad reviews regardless of the circumstances but this was a very disappointing experience. Normally, we love First Watch but this particular location is a under achiever based on our experience today. Weare hopeful this review will help this location achieve the higher ratings we've come to expect from other locations. read more

This is our favorite place to eat breakfast. The food is so fresh and delicious! The million dollar bacon is amazing!

Amazing Brunch Food! Service was fast once your seated! Will be back again. Staff was welcoming and efficient!

I was there for a vacation and ate here for breakfast. The menu selection was great and above all the service was exceptional! Our server Jasmine was a natural. She was attentive to our needs even though the restaurant was crowded. Her energy and smile were contagious. She allowed us to make menu substitutions to ensure that we were satisfied. The grits were awesome! Thanks Jasmine for making my birthday breakfast memorable. read more

My husband and I recently went to First Watch being new to the area. We asked our server, Mason, recommendations there and around town and he was more than willing to help out. He was a prime example of customer service. We will be back for the customer service alone and of course the food. TO DIE FOR!!! If you get a chance to go, get the new sandwich special. read more

We ordered breakfast to-go on our way to Busch gardens. The pancakes and breakfast wrap were delicious and fresh. Order was waiting for me, easy to pick up and nicely packed with utensils. The pancake was so tasty it didn't need syrup, we will be going back!! read more

Great place for a diverse healthy breakfast. Get in line to avoid long waiting especially on the weekends.

Usually love this place but have to give this review as a warning. Took our adult daughter to breakfast and she has a specific allergy that gives her an awful reaction. Dairy. We both asked several times if certain dishes had dairy and were assured hers did not. A couple of bites in she started to have a reaction. I called waitress over and asked again. She then said let me check and came back with the gee whiz... Bad news bears there is dairy in that dish. Really angry. Called manager over to advise that if your staff isnt sure just be honest and say so. Shed have ordered fruit or something else. Then same waitress got yelled at for serving gluten at other table. Food here is good and service is usually great but bewaaaare if you have an allergy do not trust the staff to check or to know. Eat somewhere else. The training is just not covering this concern. If you dont have any allergies this place is great. Daughter ended up at urgent care read more

They only get one shot for a first impression. The veggie burger was not tasty and the coffee cup had hair in it. My stomach hurts since I ate there. First and last visit. It is unfortunate, but true. read more

Very small portions, overpriced and microwaved heated food. Not a great choice of restaurant, and none of the staff wore masks.

Food was yummy. It's a fun more younger feeling place than some of the old country breakfast places here. It's not all bacon and eggs, they have good healthy options. Definitely will go try it again. read more

Great place for breakfast. Fresh and healthy farm-to-table, but also has some sweet offerings. Food was delish and quick. We sat outside in a nice setting. No wait at 9:00 on a Friday morning. Recommend the Chickichanga and the Bananas Foster French Toast! read more

Tried calling to ask about the wait time and the person who answered the phone was rude and dismissive.
