Poached eggs, seasoned potatoes, apple chicken sausage and gluten free toast
Tammy K.

FINALLY! This is the first time I've been to a First Watch and had across the board a wonderful experience. Sadly, the service at the other locations in town is just never good. But at this place, Jasmine knocked it out of the park! They were busy, but nothing took longer than expected. And everything was exactly how we ordered it. I have been off First Watch for quite a while, but this one? I think I may become a regular.

Haven't been to this First Watch in a while. My wife and I stopped by for breakfast. Food was fantastic and tasty. We both got the same thing different eggs. We both got the Tri-fecta with eggs, a Belgian waffle, and a really tasty chicken apple sausage patty. We also got a side of biscuits and gravy. The food here is a really good value for the money. Service was great as well. First watch is always a great go to.

I love, love, love this place. Heather, Stephanie, and Chris took such good care of us even better if we were family. Our experience here today was incredible. My morning juice drink was great but my prosciutto egg arugula sandwich on crispy sourdough bread was Undeniable the best. Chris, the manager is awesome. The employees were fabulous. The place was clean, and energetic and is now my first watch favorite place.!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND

I want to genuinely say thank you to Oscar and Emily for their hospitality and sweet customer service. We were at the Vet Clinic next door and while we had to wait for our turn we decided to sit in the outdoor patio area at First Watch to have lunch. The rain started to pour down, the electricity went out and they invited us inside even though I had my puppy with me. They both were very sweet and said this is the exception and we have a table right near the door for you to come in and enjoy your meals inside. This experience was proves there is still amazing customer service out there. Even though this is the furthest First Watch from me, I will gladly continue to bring my business here. Also, my lunch was perfect!

Server was great, the food was good but could've been better. Our toast was super hard & my waffle was only luke warm again! Ugh. I love their food when it's warm, which is why we keep going back. Place was very clean inside and decor was cute.

I went here for the first time to celebrate Mother's Day and the brunch was delicious! There are gluten free options and the portions are a decent size for what you're paying. My go-to breakfast is Eggs Benedict and there's did not disappoint. I also tried their Wild Berry Lavender French Toast, which was in edible flavorful. I ordered the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee, and while the cold foam was great, the coffee itself was over-sweet without a strong honey or caramel flavor. That is the only thing I tried that I would not recommend getting. Service took a while but that was because it was so busy and we still got our meals out fairly quickly. Overall, it's a quaint, modern brunch spot with a lot of interesting options!

Half sandwich and soup. Sandwich is the roast beef and havarti. Soup was vegetable.

Under a 5 minute wait to be sat. Our waitress was prompted and had great suggestions from both the regular and seasonal menus. The food came out fast and tasted great. While we didn't have it this time around be sure to order the million dollar bacon. It's delicious! Parking at this location is easier than some of the other ones.

First watch is my favorite brunch place to eat. I have never had something I didn't like and it's always fresh and delicious. I tried something new this time around and while the price was a little high, the quality is worth it. I love that they were finally able to add cocktails to the menu to add even more fun options! The space is well spread out and I always feel like I have enough room, but still feels cozy. Our service was great and server was the right amount of attentive.

Best bacon I've had in my life with the million dollar bacon appetizer. Three of us got three different meals. All were fantastic.

We made a reservation well in advance and even then there were limited time options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly upscale while still being cozy. I love all the plants! Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to give several recommendations. We ordered the grilled and chilled beets and the steak skewers for appetizers. The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! If Tito & Pep has been on your list do not hesitate any longer. I very much regret not coming here sooner and I highly recommend giving it a try!

Went in with order and waited in line that went rather quickly, while mom was on patio with both leashed dogs. Barbeque is quintessential American cuisine. The "low and slow" cooking with meat and smoke is…read moreunique and uniquely delicious in the culinary world. Regional styles like Memphis, Kansas City, Texas and others all have their own wonderful nuances. And while there isn't a distinct Arizona style, we're pretty good at throwin' something dead on the smoker here. And that's just what they do at The Bashful Bandit in Tucson. Their ribs and sausages are good. The brisket is lean, but very flavorful. I didn't get to try the chicken, but the highlight was the pulled pork. If there were an Arizona style BBQ it would be something like this. They cheat the competition rules, but I'm okay with that. They put some green chile in the pulled pork and it's an absolute killer. Not so killer was their coleslaw. It was as sour as the face on my ex-wife and as bland as the seggs we had before she broke up with me. And while I never had a side dish, the side dishes here (apart from the coleslaw) were all yummy. Really good mac and cheese, top shelf cowboy beans, and a potato salad that was dressed in dill and tasting mighty fine. Speaking of dressed, I like my BBQ naked, but if you need sauce (sissy) then go for the house sauce. Great flavor, just a little heat, and just a little sweet - very balanced. The spicy sauce was just okay and the mustard sauce might as well have just been French's Mustard from a two-dollar squirt bottle. Most importantly, while you're wiping the house sauce off your greasy lips, go back to the counter and do yourself a favor, order their appropriately and hilariously named "Smoked Crack Pie." It's an other worldly happy ending to your meal (didn't see that coming, didja?). This thing is a simple but genius dessert. They take a chocolate chip cookie covered in a vanilla custard topping and put it in the smoker. It's got a gooey consistency like a pecanless pecan pie and tastes like if your favorite brownie and crème brûlée had a baby (I'm honestly not sure how that would work...it's weird just to imagine the mechanics really...). Anyhow, don't be bashful, get to The Bashful Bandit in Midtown Tucson and git yerself a case of the meat sweats. You won't regret it.

The highlights for me amongst their 'que are the chopped brisket, the Sonoran hot links (which definitely bring the heat!), and the smoked jackfruit. While I'm an omnivore, I really love that they have meatless options for when I'm not feeling like eating meat. I enjoyed their sides as well. The Sunflower Crunch Salad is a nice no-mayo coleslaw with seeds and fruit that give it some nice textural and flavor contrasts. The Dill Potato Salad is on the lighter side for a potato salad (this is a compliment), with some bright herbaciousness. The Mac & Cheese, by contrast, is super heavy and rich. They round out the plate nicely! The staff are friendly and quick to help adjust orders if there's something you wanted that they're out of.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't your typical sit-down dinner spot. The lighting is cool, there's a live DJ, and yes--it is loud. Like, don't come here expecting an intimate, quiet dinner kind of loud. This is more "laughing over music, people-watching, and soaking up the energy" kind of place. Now let's talk food, because that's where they pleasantly surprised me. They actually have a legit vegan option that doesn't feel like an afterthought (which I always appreciate). I went with the vegan curry and wow--it was delicious. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, with a mushroom-forward sauce and sweet potatoes that just worked so well together. We also had the olive oil bread, which was simple but so good, plus almonds and Brussels sprouts that were absolutely worth ordering. Everything felt shareable and fun, which fits the whole vibe of the place. This isn't where I'd go for a quiet date night or a five-star fine dining experience--but that's not what it's trying to be. It's where you go to hang out, eat good food, sip drinks, and just have a really fun time. Would I come back? Definitely.
