My wife had the Salmon special for her breakfast. She said it was superb. I had poached eggs, sausage links and potatoes. First Watch makes their potatoes the way I like them...cut in squares and well cooked. Coffee is above average. Waitress was attentive. Take credit cards. Plenty of parking. This restaurant does an excellent job at service, selection and their interior feels comfortable and welcoming. The food is great, although their steak was overcooked and a poor cut, they have so many other great things here, I can let it slide. The only weakness this place has is portioning. I always leave hungry or have to order 37589157 sides to get full. I really wish they would up the portions. I'd pay a bit more if I could leave full every time. I want to genuinely say thank you to Oscar and Emily for their hospitality and sweet customer service. We were at the Vet Clinic next door and while we had to wait for our turn we decided to sit in the outdoor patio area at First Watch to have lunch. The rain started to pour down, the electricity went out and they invited us inside even though I had my puppy with me. They both were very sweet and said this is the exception and we have a table right near the door for you to come in and enjoy your meals inside. This experience was proves there is still amazing customer service out there. Even though this is the furthest First Watch from me, I will gladly continue to bring my business here. Anthony was Outstanding great and so so sweet helpful, and was very very detailed knew the ins and outs of Breakfast brunch and lunch!!! The decor is scheek, modern and light and beautiful dining, very very beautiful, our meal was very good, I was Starving, and went with turkey and biscuit and gravy and potatoes with 2 eggs. Iced coffee was very good, and we ordered same thing, the potatoes were little hard still, and just wish there was more gravy but good tasting! right amount of food, and the wait staff bussers were AMAZING!!! Anthony was SOT ON SO SO GOOD AND even got to try the Pineapple refresher drink was very very good. Overall, was good experience and will have to try the Tres Leches french toast combo meal. I went here for the first time to celebrate Mother's Day and the brunch was delicious! There are gluten free options and the portions are a decent size for what you're paying. My go-to breakfast is Eggs Benedict and there's did not disappoint. I also tried their Wild Berry Lavender French Toast, which was in edible flavorful. I ordered the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee, and while the cold foam was great, the coffee itself was over-sweet without a strong honey or caramel flavor. That is the only thing I tried that I would not recommend getting. Service took a while but that was because it was so busy and we still got our meals out fairly quickly. Pretty cool spot for breakfast and they have rotating specials. Noise level is not bad despite how crowded it can get, especially on weekends. I ordered avocado toast with smoked salmon that I put on top. It was tasty and I also liked that they serve whole coffee pots for the table at three bucks. We are regular customers. Brought some out-of-town friends to First Watch for brunch. Very disappointed in the service and quality of the food. Restaurant was NOT busy. My wife's power wrap with salsa (pico de gallo, just chopped tomato) nothing special and she would not buy this item again. I ordered the salmon benedict and my meal was not served until 20 minutes after my dining partners had gotten served.... several excuses for the delays.... cook had screwed up the poached eggs... but when I finally got my meal it was actually inedible... eggs were undercooked, bread as hard as a rock, skimpy serving of lox (salmon), cold potatoes, and our server never refilled our drinks (had to ask another employee). And once the First Watch servers drop off the check early while diners are still eating, the service always stops. read more

I tried something new this time around and while the price was a little high, the quality is worth it. I love that they were finally able to add cocktails to the menu to add even more fun options! I came here yesterday morning with a friend, excited to try a new spot that advertised itself as farm-to-table. As a vegan, I assumed there would be a few plant-based options--but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There was only one item on the menu that could be modified to fit a vegan diet--a veggie skillet. While the staff was willing to remove the eggs and cheese, I was still upcharged for a super tiny side of avocado, even though I wasn't receiving the original proteins that came with the dish. Not very vegan-friendly, and definitely not reflective of a modern farm-to-table approach. My friend (who is not vegan) ordered the "shrimp and grits" and was equally disappointed. The grits were unusually yellow and chunky--more like cornmeal than true grits--and lacked any creaminess. The shrimp were dry, seemingly just sautéed and tossed on top without any sauce. When she asked for a gravy or sauce, they brought out the biscuit gravy, which didn't pair well and felt like an odd solution. To their credit, management offered to comp her dish, but we chose to pay anyway. Still, the experience left a lot to be desired, and we won't be coming back. read more

I was at a work meeting this morning at this place and I decided to try this dish out (The Traditional) and I must say it wasn't to bad! Food quality is definitely here, and the waiter was nice and engaging as well. As far as value is concern, I think you get what you pay for, and quality is good but the value isn't quite there, but a lot of that is attributed to food cost and inflation as a factor. We have been to other First Watch restaurants before. However this one just seemed to make a truly amazing breakfast. I ordered the Farmhouse Skillet and it was amazing. My wife really enjoyed her Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. My son devoured his Bacon and avocado omelette and my daughter loved the waffle. Even the coffee was fantastic. I wish there was a first watch in El Paso. The juice is so fresh and and you can taste the sweetness of the tumeric. The lemon ricotta pancakes are to die for. I wish there had been a tad bit more lemon curd, but either way, AMAZING! The amount of food and quality you get makes up for the price you'll pay, because it's not inexpensive.
