Went to First Watch to try their seasonal raspberry French toast. They were busy but we got in fairly quickly, all the staff we met were friendly and efficient. We ordered quickly. Husband had classic trifecta I think they called it. Huge pancake the size of the plate, bacon, and eggs. He loved it, could only eat half the pancake and of course I had the raspberry French toast. Four pieces of French toast with raspberry sauce, fresh raspberries and a scoop of lemon mascarpone cheese that melted nicely on the hot French toast. It was delicious. Go try it. The food was good. The service was excellent! The music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think, no less talk to the other people at the table. when I asked, politely, to lower the volume the Manager absolutely refuse. Told us we could walk around and find another place to sit because she was not lowering the volume. No wonder there's no customers during breakfast hours. Corporate needs to wake up. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast. I was a little surprised by the price of the brewed coffee. I understand that it was a pot of coffee but I wish they gave me the option of just a cup of coffee since I was the only one drinking. Other than that, service was fantastic and was a great experience overall. read more

Everything was great! We found this spot on Yelp. Went based on the reviews. They are not wrong. We arrived and no waiting (the one in Phoenix is always packed and long waiting). The seating inside is open, clean and pleasant. We were seated right away and greeted by our server Abby. She was pleasant and attentive. The menu is simple and we went with The traditional breakfast and The waffle breakfast. Food arrived pretty quick about 10-12 mins. We both enjoyed our food and was delicious. Good presentation and portion size was right. We ate everything and was not overly full. Cage free Eggs cooked over medium, bacon well done (crispy), French toast was flavorful and fruit compote for dip. The waffle was flavorful, light, fluffy and had a light crunch on the edges. Coffee was good and they have the good creamers too. They also leave a pot of coffee and a water glass pitcher. The water seemed filtered, the good water. Overall great experience! Highly recommended. read more

Food and prices are decent. The trifecta breakfast is pretty good if you're trying to count your calories. We waited around an hour to be seated after being told it would only be 30min. Customer service needs a little bit of work. read more

We had breakfast today at the Market Place location. When they served us, they brought out a chicken chimichanga we didn't order. The server returned it to the kitchen but we discovered after we got home they charged us for it anyway, $14.00 for someone in the back to enjoy lunch on us. It is clear they are running an upper scale image with an attempt at presenting a quality product.....however be prepared for a quality over quantity business model with mediocre food. My wife had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, at least the paper thin sliver they served. No flavor at all with eggs more consistent with pudding. Be prepared for plates 1/3 full of spinach/lettuce rabbit food. Looks like a lot until you remove the rabbit food and discover a child's portion of the main entree. I had "The Works" omelet that was nothing like the name...weighed, measured. and found to be short. We won't go back. Heck 30% of the $100 bill wasn't even our food. What we did get looked all neat, great presentation, but severely lacking. Live and learn..... read more

If you are wanting the feel of an old-fashioned diner but with the food quality of a elegant restaurant, First Watch is your place. We have all been missing brunch during covid, and some establishments are really putting in the extra effort, not only adhere to CDC requirements, but also making their guests feel more comfortable. First Watch did just this. My boyfriend and I went during peek brunch hours on a Saturday, was instructed they would text us when we were ready to be seated and it would be about 25-30 minute wait. The only thing is, is right now with covid, there is no indoor seating for waiting patrons. And just how the building is facing, the outside bench seatings are unfortunately in direct sun. The side of the building in the shade was just along the outside dining area. I noticed many who chose to sit in their vehicles, in their air conditioning, which we opted for this not too soon after. We were seated outside, used their online menu option via QR code reader, and ordered. They didn't take long with our foods and as always, I'm always pleased with the quality of their food. read more

I wish I had made a reservation online as this location was very busy and required a 20 minute wait. Thankfully there was seating and menus so I was able to order quickly once seated. I ordered the half Monterey Club and half the Chicken Avocado Chop salad. The sandwich was overflowing with turkey and melted cheese, and I enjoyed every bite. The salad was immediately disappointing. For mentioning avocado in the title I would have expected more than two very small slices of barely ripe avocado. The flavors in the salad were nothing special, and the chicken was dry, although I enjoyed the tortilla strips that topped the greens. My partner ordered the açaí bowl and requested gluten free toast, when served the toast was glutinous so we had our server quickly remedy it. He said the granola in the açaí bowl was far too sweet, and the kiwi was complexly hard and unripe. The plating of the food served at First Watch is extremely novice and simple. I would have preferred my salad being served in a bowl as it would have made it easier to eat. I specifically did not order a dish that would come with syrup as the menu indicates an additional price to be served real maple syrup: this highly offends me. The decor is pleasant and reminded me of my Connecticut upbringing being surrounded by nautical rope and blue paint. The staff was pleasant and helpful and everyone wore UofA shirts as a uniform. First Watch is certainly a place to go for overpriced underwhelming food with a wait. read more

From start to finish, excellent food, service and atmosphere. The short is my food (biscuits, sausage and gravy) was beautifully cooked and flavorful. The new " Wake Up" juice is sweet with a slight mint kick, perfect for early morning. I am a single diner and came in around noon. They were very accommodating and staff was friendly and quick. It took about 4 minutes for my food to come back to me after order, so extremely quick. The food was all tasty. I got an over easy egg and it was actually over easy, not over cooked or rubbery. The biscuits were fluffy and did taste fresh baked, a claim I was originally skeptical of. The star of the dish was the gravy. It was sausage gravy, and had an interesting back of the throat spice. I had that gravy with the potatoes and eggs in my dish and it was all delicious. The side potatoes were good but nothing special. The waitress was extremely nice and quick with service without hovering. I was in and out with a full stomach in less than an hour, all for 27$ (tip included). Would highly recommend for single or group dining. read more

I like most places with breakfast food and first watch definitely is one of the good ones.

I was able to stop in for brunch/lunch at First Watch in Tucson, AZ today. It's was Absolutely filling an soup hit the spot on such a chilly day to me! We were able to get right in and be seated very quick. A carafe of water was brought to the table within minutes and our waitress was quick. Very kind and courteous and ordered drinks were always refilled quickly. The restaurant was very clean and everyone was extremely nice to us. I can say this restaurant chain has consistently provided me with great service on both the East and west coast. Never disappointed. read more

Our experience was really nice. We had a fabulous waitress named Leslie that was not only pleasant but knows how to make the most of her steps and placing her orders so her tables get their food as prompt as possible. I ordered the lemon curd pancakes and they were so good! Though I did have to take it home because I just couldn't finish. My husband ordered the French toast and was just as impressed with it. read more

First watch offers a variety of healthy and classic items. I eat here quite often as a pick up to go order but staff is always friendly whether I am dining in or getting take out. My favorite breakfast item is the traditional plate with chicken sausage, it's very tasty and fresh. They also offer a seasonal short rib omelette that is pretty good as well! Each location I have tried is pretty consistent with the food and I haven't had any issues. It's a different spin on breakfast and I love the different options offered. read more

Food's great, ambience and service has always been fine. Really pricey IMO. I schedule meetings and visits there because I know everyone will be satisfied. I'm no stranger to First Watch. And now, neither is my mother. Based on my previous visits to their north Phoenix location, I thought it would be fun to introduce my mother to this excellent breakfast chain while in Tucson last weekend. Right away, the decor is familiar and inviting. Plus, the dining room is bright and airy. And to top it off, our server Reanna was awesome! My mother wasn't familiar with the menu and asked a lot of questions, but Reanna was patient and made some good recommendations. Her timing and pleasant demeanor made our breakfast very enjoyable. The more I explore the menu at First Watch, the more I'm impressed. And their Million Dollar Bacon was already pretty impressive! My mom enjoyed her Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and my Market Hash was delicious. And in case I've never mentioned it, the fruit preserves they serve with the toast is another impressive item on a long list. First Watch has demonstrated their standards are high. This visit to their Tucson location also demonstrates their consistency. If you've never dined here, you're missing out! read more

I've never had a bad meal at First Watch, the service was decent and of course it has a nice ambience for a breakfast restaurant. From the moment we arrived it was a pleasant experience. We pre-checked in on Yelp so our wait time to be seated was very minimal. Our waitress was very attentive & nice to deal with. Food was very tasty as usual :) I always forget tho that they put parsley on everything, which is gross in my opinion, but, I just picked it off this time. I don't know why they feel it necessary to do that. I ordered the tri-fecta which included french toast, eggs & bacon. Very good minus the parsley on my eggs lol Hubby ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes & english muffin. He said his was really good too just could've had the muffin toasted a little bit more. Otherwise it was a very nice time. read more

I come here for the brunch, but I always feel like it's a little over priced and since it's so busy food gets a little cold. A great place to go for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I love their fresh pressed juice drinks. I got their chickichanga breakfast and it was delicious. Overall everything was wonderful, and I will definitely be going back again. read more

I talked to one of the managers and she apologized about the fiasco so I decided to update my review from 2 stars to 5 stars after giving this First Watch another shot. After my experience last time I called my order in rather than using the FW app to make sure they knew of my food allergy. I went inside to pick up my order and it was ready by the time I got there (15 min). I checked with the cashier that they made note of my allergy and she told me not to worry because she told everyone at least twice to be careful. I got to enjoy my food this time and I was happy that I did not have a repeat bad experience. My recommendation for everyone, especially those with food allergies is to call in rather than use the FW app. There really is no benefit of using the app since you don't get points or anything. read more

Finally a breakfast/brunch place that's normal. It's like the unicorn of breakfast places: -creative seasonal menu -reasonably priced -not a greaseball -not a "kale corner"...you know what I mean, the place that's all organic/vegan/free range blah blah blah On the food note had an awesome eggs Benedict Florentine and the wife had the seasonal carnitas breakfast. When you get to work and just want something more than what you brought from home.... order from First Watch and pick it up, you will not be disappointed. I was feeling like a skillet type of meal, and this really hit the spot. I chose the Hacienda Hash, fresh seasoned potato, chorizo, and red pepper hash topped with two basted cage free eggs, cheddar, Monterey Jack, chipotle ketchup, sour cream, fresh smashed avocado and cilantro. Really outstanding. My coworker ordered the French toast which came with a fresh fruit salad. Very tasty. read more

The best thing about this place is the great service! Not only do they check on you a good amount of the time, if you order coffee, they'll offer you a cup to take out with you when you're done with your meal. The menu has most of the common breakfast items with some Mexican inspired dishes. There are egg and omelette options, as well as French toast and pancakes. If you want a healthier option or gluten-free, they have that as well. They are very accommodating! I am allergic to melon, watermelon, cantaloupe and honey dew and they were able to separate it for me for my side of fruit. The chorizo omelette I ordered was a bit underwhelming. Nothing very special or outstanding about its taste. The chorizo was lackluster and it came with green chiles and onions. The majority of the filling tasted like the onions and green chili rather than the chorizo. The toast was delicious, including the jam they add to the plate. That is what saved the breakfast for me. I would come back because of the options and service, probably ordering something besides the chorizo omelette. read more
