I have been here twice and tried different things. The food is nice. The coffee is not good at all, it's like drinking water with few drops of coffee. If you are a coffee lover like me, don't get one here. The service is so slow. Tables are not cleaned after someone leaves and people who are arriving are forced to wait for additional 15-20 min because of this. Hopefully over time it will get better. read more

Many places to go for breakfast and lunch and this one turned out to be average. I have visited this chain many times in Florida, and the Troy location has a totally different vibe. They are extremely busy and the staff does not deliver that super friendly feel when you walk in, and are served. In the South, at least the three locations I have visited , you feel like the staff goes out of their way to kill you with friendliness, and "how can we help you" attitude. We tried this location for lunch, and had a 30 minute wait, around 1:00pm. The food took nearly a half hour (salad and sandwich). Salad was just average at best. Turkey sandwich was great. My sister-in-law first introduced us to First Watch: She's from Kansas City and was delighted when one opened by all of us in Fort Worth. The food is delicious and the service has always been excellent. I am almost addicted to the chia-seed pudding dish (can't ever remember the name but it's right at the top of the breakfast menu). It comes with piles of berries and granola, delicious think-sliced toast smothered with almond butter. No one I've ever eaten with at First Watch has been disappointed. I'm giving it only four stars because I reserve five-star reviews for the most special and outstanding experiences. But First Watch is a solid choice for breakfast and lunch. read more

First time at this location. Love the food. Nice breakfast place with a lot of options. I have an issue with this location. We waited by the front for a table for 10 min without any acknowledgement from the hostess While we were next up waiting for our table she allowed someone else to pay their tab and still hadn't acknowledged us. No let me check them out or give me a minute... nothing. No awareness is how it felt. Once we were sat our waitress was really good and attentive and food was good. I think management just needs to do more front of the house training. Will be going to the Rochester Rd and Big Beaver location for now. They run a little more efficiently. read more

My wife and I got in on a crowded Saturday morning and put our name in, but the hostess accidentally put our party in as 5 (as I saw on the text they sent us). We corrected the mistake but in doing so they moved us to the back of the line (without telling us). Multiple parties of 2 that arrived after us were sat before to the point where we waited for over 40 minutes watching the same sized parties get tables. We couldn't get a hold of anyone and eventually just left. There is multiple great spots around the area and no point in wasting our time at a place that doesn't respect our time. read more

I have to say I was really dissatisfied with the wait staff. Our waitress was very rude and not friendly. I was shocked to see when we went in around 8am Weds that multiple staff were eating breakfast at various tables in the restaurant. Our waitress put down our menus then went to eat at a back table and then came back over 12 min later to offer coffee and take our order. I wish the experience were better because the food itself was good. Will choose other options in the area for breakfast. read more

Today was a wonderful experience, I felt for the staff as the manager was the one cleaning and clearing tables while seating. They only had three waitstaff as I were told do to call offs. Honestly I could not tell they were short staffed everyone was gracious and forthcoming with what was happening but still made it memorable. Great food but molasses slow service! Visited the Troy location on maple and Coolidge. There was a terribly long wait to be seated but fortunately there was a spot available at the community table which was cool because you can have brunch with interesting people and chat or you may keep to yourself and enjoy a good read as you're waiting 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge you. I'd visit again if I have 2 hours leisurely time to spend at a restaurant. read more

The food is good, not great. But what's annoying is it is too loud and the service is weird - why can't one person handle your table? Why do three people have to all do different things and then you have to repeat to person #2 what you told person #1. So stupid. And please try to find a way to lower the noise level - if you want a calm, quiet meal this place isn't for you. I would go again to try the pancakes. read more

As much as I would like to tell you about this restaurant I can't. The call ahead system is awful and unless you are prepared to wait 2 hours for just a chance to eat here (which you still might not get sat before they closed) it's not worth my time to wait. We used the line system, getting on at approximately 9:30 when it said the wait was 60-90 minutes. Showed up between 10:30-11 and were told 20 minute wait, no biggie, we returned 20 minutes later to check our spot and were told 30 minutes now, she indicated that people log in at 8 am saying they are coming at some point and those people jump the line ahead of you, you could continue to drop down the line as those folks start showing up. In reality, you might never get a spot. It's worse if you try to walk in, people are told minimum 2 hour wait. Won't go back to a place with such a horrible reservation system. It's unfair to both the employees who receive the wrath of angry customers or to customers who would like to grab a bite to eat. read more

I didn't have the best first experience here. To start, it wasn't too busy, yet somehow it took the waitress about 10 minutes just to get our drink order. One of the coffee mugs on our table had lipstick all over the rim, which wasn't a huge deal to me, because I didn't get coffee. They just keep the mugs on the table. Anyway, my husband got a Diet Coke and the cup was filled with pulp...so apparently they aren't the best at cleaning dishes. I ordered a BLT eggs Benedict and when it got to me there was no avocado on it. (Which is one of the listed toppings) I let the waitress know and she went and got me some. When I cut into the egg, it was fully cooked. If you're familiar with eggs Benedict, this is not how it's typically cooked. The yolk should be runny. I'm really not one to complain about food, but runny yolk is what I like about that dish. I asked her to have them remake it. They forgot the avocado again on the second plate...and the egg was completely cooked again. I ate it anyway. My husband also said his breakfast tasted bland. I don't plan on going back. read more

Terrible customer service, we ordered delivery, I ordered biscuits & turkey gravy, they delivered only the biscuit and potatoes, no gravy, no turkey sausage, no eggs ... I call and speak to a manager, was given Jennifer Gray's number from Florida to get a refund, called 3 times, left 3 voicemails, even emailed their customer service email ... no response, no credit, no refund, due to current pandemic have waited 3 weeks before posting review to give them time... I guess biscuits & turkey gravy actually means a dry biscuit with dried out potatoes ... customer beware and hope they get your order right read more

I came here with my cousin for a quick meal before we go to the gym. We were hoping for a nice quick dine in place, but we sat on the table and it took about five minutes for our waitress to come. It was quite obvious the restaurant was short on staff but lol there were only 2 tables in the restaurant. There was also only 1 person in the kitchen and wow was he slow. Me and my cousin told our waitress we wanted water and it took her another whopping 5 minutes to get cups of water. After I got my water we ordered our food. Wow I went to rams horn and I thought they had the slowest time of serving food but Sky Crepe takes the medal! We waited around 45 to 60 minutes for the food to come out. Not only that, after I got my food it was way too greasy. I order a chicken crepe with fries. Lol this is the funny part, the service was so slow that I asked her for ketchup and I swear I am not joking by the time I got my ketchup I finished my fries. This restaurant never used to be like this but this was the worst service I have ever received. I hope the owner of sky reads this and applies some changes here. read more

My wife and I enrolled in the club for First Watch and received a digital voucher for BOGO. Its a very appealing atmosphere, the menu offerings are pricier, $10 average. Theme is wholesome. So when we go out for breakfast my wife loves waffles. I do to. Our order came, waffles first, eggs 4-5 minutes later. Waffles were cold, (butter has to melt on waffles to be right.) Eggs were warmer but not hot. The waitress replaced the order, again the waffles were cool and butter didn't melt. Manger informed us they were having training issues. I'll say. No one ever came to my table and I had to go to the register and request for my receipt so I could leave. The restaurant was busy- but not too busy for the tables to be left unattended. read more

Rarely write reviews or complain. I worked in the service industry previously so I can empathize. But this was a very very bad experience. We put our names in and waited for only 20 min, not bad. But when we were seated, we sat there without being greeted for another 25 minutes. The waitress was somewhat apologetic, took our orders and left. We waited another 20 min just to get our waters. And it wasn't even from our waitress. She kept walking by almost as if we didn't exist. Didn't stop and explain or apologize or anything. After another ten minutes we took initiative and asked if our food was coming any time soon. We had to grab the waitress to do so mind you. She came back 5 min later with our food thankfully, but then disappeared. My water had long since been finished. So eating a spicy meal without water was an interesting treat. No check Backs to see how the food was or if we needed, hmm, maybe some more water or anything else to drink. Another waitress came by and dropped off the check without a word. It was our first, and last, time there so we didn't know that you don't pay at the table either. Got there at 11:30am, left at 1:30 pm. The waitress stopped by our table twice in that time. I could be more empathetic or understanding if she at least had tried to apologize or explain or do anything more. She just made some excuses about online ordering and left us. I felt like I was at Dick's Last Resort, where they treat you bad on purpose, but at least there they acknowledge your presence! In short, if you have a lot of time to waste and aren't hungry, say a friend you haven't seen in years is visiting, take them here. Otherwise, if you want good service and you're hungry, spare yourself the frustration and waste of time and go elsewhere. I'd be surprised with that level of inattention if this plays stays open for very long. I know I will never be going back to that place ever again, and I'll be sure to warn all I know to steer clear. read more

The food here is unique, tasty, and flavorful despite being a chain restaurant! Negative Comments on the service here have not been my personal experience as my server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were happy. The community table is a great touch if you are coming alone and the superfoods am bowl is unique in the area. Would highly recommend you check out this location! read more
