The food here is really tasty and flavorful! I've ordered takeout quite a few times now it has been a great experience each time. They have locations all throughout metro Detroit but this is the only location I've visited so far. My go to order always ends the chicken bowl which comes with lettuce, yellow rice, tomato, onions and more. I also go with the hummus as well. There is a ton more you can add as well but that will already cost you close to $20 but it's very worth it for the size of the bowl! Would love to visit and try other items on the menu. read more

Stopped by the grand opening festivities at Middle Eats in Bloomfield, Hills. I tried the opening special which is a $5 swarma bowl. I got it withchicken, and added a shrimp skewer Bot the chicken and the shrimp more moist and very flavorful. The other ingredients in the bowl were also delicious. I would give it a 9out of 10. It could have used more veggies The festivities were a nice. Lot's of people were in attendance. There was a bounce house for children, and a prize wheel for adults. Everybody on staff were cordial, excited to serve, and very helpful. The place was decked out with balloon decorations. I enjoyed the giveaways, which were a water bottle and an ink pen. Went with the chicken bowl with the spicy dillio sauce and hummus and the spicy crunchy shawarma wrap. Added a side of the falafel with the dillio sauce. They do seem on the pricier side when it almost reminds me of chipotle for middle eastern but the portions on the bowl do make up for it. I've tried this place a couple of times, one of which being the grand opening. I love the chicken shawarma bowl. I get it with the spicy dillo sauce, hummus, and garlic. Spicy dillo isn't really spicy but it has good flavor. The bowl has a great balance of chicken, vegetables, and rice. It's delicious and fresh. The service is pretty quick and convenient. This bowl is humongous and amazing! There are many middle eastern bowl/wrap places around this vicinity and I'm so glad Ifinally got to try this. I can't express how big this bowl is. The chicken shawarma is fantastic, the rest is so fresh and I'm going to for sure have leftovers. The only thing i wish is that there was more sauce so when I get to the bottom it won't be without. I was there around 4:00pm on a weekday, so it was quiet and the service staff including cook, Don were very friendly and welcoming. Hate to do this but this place needs some work; tonight they ran out of food; in lieu of telling people about an extended wait time of (Minimum 1 Hour) they continued to tell people upon ordering 10-15 minutes and after waiting 30 minutes and continuously being told "they are working on it" find and angered chef raising his voice at a customer saying "We have 42 orders on the screen and an online wait time of 1 Hour and 15 Minutes; we are working on it." Needless to say they need some work at this new establishment and personally wouldn't go back. It's pretty clear that with some better forecasting and communication this all could have been avoided (primarily communication) and considering the kitchen is 10ft away from the registers I can't see how this should ever become an issue. read more

Middle Eats is a brand brew spot in the corner of Woodward and Square Lake in Bloomfield Hills. The chicken shawarma bowl was very sizable and was only $13! The garlic sauce was super powerful and the bowl also came with protein, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, rice, and hummus. That kind of deal doesn't come along very often.
