Went here after a fasting procedures, 2 different times, at the hospital down the street, and boy I was not disappointed. The place is small, but well laid out, and the service is spot on. As soon as we were seated, are drink orders were taken immediately. I love omelettes or sweet stuff for b-fast. They get them both right! First time, I got the Spinach, avocado and Swiss omelette, and my driver got the Fruit explosion crepes. We shared, of course. I'm not a potato person, so I always substitute tomatoes for potatoes, when they let me. Their tomatoes were good quality, sweet-ish, not mealy, or too snotty. Went on a Friday morning with a couple of friends. The place was pretty much empty so we were able to seat ourselves. The inside was small but cute. Our server tended to us right away. The food came out in a timely manner and had a nice presentation. I ordered the caprice omelette. As soon as the plate was set in front of me, there was an odd smell that made me lose my appetite. Eventually I realized that the eggs were a bit burnt and the smell was just unsavory. The omelette itself tasted okay, but I couldn't get over the smell so I just gave up on eating the omelette. The hash browns were just okay. I was quite disappointed. Prices were very fair. The waitress was nice enough to inquire about my omelette but I chose not to complain about it since I probably could've eaten it if I wasn't so bothered by the smell. Even after my plate was taken away, I could smell that smell when other plates nearby were being brought out. My friends could smell it too and agreed it had a burnt egg smell. Our waitress was fast, attentive, and incredibly friendly. She was the best part of the experience. I have been to this restaurant three times now, once in December and twice for take out in the last two days. All three of these times, I have been heavily impressed by what is an unassuming diner with a cute name. Yesterday, I got the chicken Florentine crepes and my dad got the Reuben, both to go. 10/10 on the crepes. So good. No notes. Very large portion for a good price. My dad's sandwich was good and he did get the side salad, which was just more so a small pile of arugula with dressing, so honestly would consider passing on that and upgrading to something else if you're super hungry. Today, I had the apple cinnamon pancakes with everything on the side (to go) and my dad got the burger with some lemon rice soup. The pictures do not do any of these much justice, they were incredibly good. Overall, I would recommend any of the foods that we ordered. The menu is very expensive. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes and 15 when it was pretty busy so that is also good to know. read more

Ordered the Greek skillet with raisin toast, croissant sandwich with roasted turkey and turkey bacon and Swiss cheese instead of American cheese and a GF pancake order (comes with 3). The croissant sandwich looked really good. The croissant was nicely toasted. The turkey slice was thick. There were two layers of fried eggs and a slice of Swiss cheese. The turkey sausage was good, but two patties would have fit better over the whole span of the croissant. Had several bites with no sausage. The Greek skillet was quite tasty. Nice balance of gyro, veggies, potato and feta. The GF pancake was big and fluffy and tasted good for being GF. A bit of chalky taste at the back end, but not bad. They offer French press coffee with shots. The French vanilla was decent to my hubby, the pumpkin spice tasted a bit off though. read more

Changing my review. I did have a 5 star because we've been here multiple times and never had an issue. Today we went for brunch. I ordered a salad and there was something in it (not going to say what because I feel bad putting it out there)... the waitress takes the salad and just comes back and says she took it off the bill (which is super nice)... and hands us the bill... but no offense a manager should've came out or there should've been more done. It seemed like she didn't care.. she didn't ask me if I wanted to order something different. I was literally so grossed out. I came here on a busy Saturday morning for my birthday brunch. All 5 of us were set quickly in a nice booth. I really love the ambiance here. It's cute and trendy without over doing it. It manages to keep the feel of a nice brunch place but you don't feel like you need to dress up to go. I was off work today and had a few things to do, and decided that I needed breakfast badly. I didn't want to go to my usual spot, and saw that this place was close to me, so I stopped in. Fortunately, they are doing dine in service, which is what I wanted to do since I was to tired to carry it home and hope that the food wouldn't get cold between there and home. Walking in, the place is cute. It's in a strip mall and on Dequindre which is currently under massive construction. Parking is decent and there's plenty of seating inside even with social distancing. I reviewed the menu and they have a lot of great options. Waffles, pancakes, eggs benedict and a few others to round out the menu. Prices are about $9 to $11 a person, which isn't to bad. I was torn on what to get, and was initially interested in their eggs benedict but passed since they all have pork products in them. I ended up getting a burito with no meat and it was huge when it came out. I enjoyed the burrito, but wasn't overly impressed because it kept falling apart and I spent more time scraping up the insides than I did eating it. The food was good, but not enough to woo me into life changing feelings. Overall a nice alternative to Coney's and fast food for breakfast.
