New Caprice Omelette
Ashley G.

Went on a Friday morning with a couple of friends. The place was pretty much empty so we were able to seat ourselves. The inside was small but cute. Our server tended to us right away. The food came out in a timely manner and had a nice presentation. I ordered the caprice omelette. As soon as the plate was set in front of me, there was an odd smell that made me lose my appetite. Eventually I realized that the eggs were a bit burnt and the smell was just unsavory. The omelette itself tasted okay, but I couldn't get over the smell so I just gave up on eating the omelette. The hash browns were just okay. I was quite disappointed. Prices were very fair. The waitress was nice enough to inquire about my omelette but I chose not to complain about it since I probably could've eaten it if I wasn't so bothered by the smell. Even after my plate was taken away, I could smell that smell when other plates nearby were being brought out. My friends could smell it too and agreed it had a burnt egg smell. Our waitress was fast, attentive, and incredibly friendly. She was the best part of the experience. Overall, I'd be willing to give this place another try to see if maybe it was just a one off, but I'm in no rush to go back.

Had a lovely breakfast here and the server could not have been more friendly! I know she mentioned her name - and I said it - but I didn't pay, so I don't have it in front of me. The restaurant is a bit tricky for parking, being a small shared lot, but you really want to get here. The menu has great variety, a LOT of fresh options and honestly, it's a place I could visit every day if I was local. So friendly and cozy while the food fuels you for the day. You owe it to yourself to try it!!

Veggie Skillet

Not a bad option, the service was quick and the staff were kind and helpful. The food was okay- I got the veggie skillet with sourdough bread. The price was a little high for what it was, but the orange juice tasted great. The interior had plenty of seating. I will say the portion for the skillet was large.

Solid place for breakfast/lunch! Cozy with a farmhouse type vibe mixed with a coney? Tables and booth, along with bar top seating. Great local place though with friendly and attentive staff. Menu has it all from pancakes to omelettes to sandwiches and savory crepes. Breakfast options have creative options like fruity pebbles pancakes or peanut butter and jelly french toast. I have had both breakfast and lunch and every time I have been happy with my meal. The potion sizes are big so come hungry. The greek with chicken is delicious and has great greek dressing. Banana nut pancakes were fluffy and a side of bacon hit the spot.

The berry waffle!

It's still amazing !!! The waffle is so good. And you will never find kinder waitstaff anywhere. All the ladies here are so nice, and remember you when you come in. Just a lovely hometown diner!

Apple Cinnamon toppings on side

I have been to this restaurant three times now, once in December and twice for take out in the last two days. All three of these times, I have been heavily impressed by what is an unassuming diner with a cute name. Yesterday, I got the chicken Florentine crepes and my dad got the Reuben, both to go. 10/10 on the crepes. So good. No notes. Very large portion for a good price. My dad's sandwich was good and he did get the side salad, which was just more so a small pile of arugula with dressing, so honestly would consider passing on that and upgrading to something else if you're super hungry. Today, I had the apple cinnamon pancakes with everything on the side (to go) and my dad got the burger with some lemon rice soup. The pictures do not do any of these much justice, they were incredibly good. Overall, I would recommend any of the foods that we ordered. The menu is very expensive. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes and 15 when it was pretty busy so that is also good to know.

2 veggies omelettes, blueberry lemon pancake on the side

Went there for a brunch with a girlfriend craving for some pancakes.. ended up ordering a veggie omelette combo that had that pancake as a side option. I have not really liked omelettes as much as I liked theirs and omelettes aren't something that cooks can make it wrong but somehow I never liked it anywhere else. This place gets really busy on weekends and even then service was top notch.. we will definitely like to go there again.

Greek Bowl is absolutely outstanding! It comes with Eggs and Toast, I ordered in the side.

Great food, great service and charming diner vibe was everything I needed in a breakfast spot. So glad I stumbled upon this place. I had the Gyro Bowl and it was so good, I got the same thing the second time (even when I told myself to try something new)! I'm pretty sure the gyro meat is homemade. It's so tender and flavorful and larger pieces than the slices you get everywhere else. The potatoes are red skinned, fried potatoes just crispy enough for some great texture. The feta, tomatoes and onions are all fresh and give a nice balance to the fried potatoes and rich meat. The service here is outstanding and I was wowed by how friendly they are. This is a must try!

Went here for a girls breakfast and this place did not disappoint. We went on a Sunday at 12 noon, and got there just in time, no wait. It did get pretty busy after we were seated. The service was excellent and our food came out pretty quickly. Perfect place to catch up with friends while having a great meal!

What a pleasantly surprising little place! It had been a long time since I had tried some eggs Benedict. One of the specials was the French Benny, and it was just outstanding. The presentation was beautiful as well. My daughter got her traditional chocolate chip pancake with sausage and she was not disappointed. I tried some of it, and I concur. The place is pretty small yet charming. It's clean inside and the wait staff was really nice. Definitely a place we're tossing into the rotation!

Lemon Blueberry Pancakes

Let me start by saying that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so i have a pretty high standard. So I been looking for a new breakfast place and I found this place. I ordered the Lemon Blueberry pancakes and a order of eggs and crispy bacon. They lived up to my expectations. Its a for sure dessert breakfast item so if you are a savory breakfast person i would avoid it. Im looking forward to coming back to try the fruity pebble french toast.

Poached eggs with spinach with hollandaise sauce and a side of hash browns
Loletha D.

Poached eggs spinach tomatoes and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin accompanied by Hash Browns and pancakes. They do no skimp on portions, and the flavors were explosive, I was rather surprised! I could not eat it all but I sure tried lol If ever I'm in the area I will definitely order again!

tl;dr a fantastic little cafe serving really delicious crepes with super friendly service…read more Ambiance (5/5): I came to the cafe on a Friday morning to have a little breakfast and do a little computer work, so the cafe was fairly quiet with French music playing at a medium volume (you're aware of it but you won't need to talk too loudly to converse). As super lovely and relaxing vibe. They have a counter that says "Order Here" but there was one other table who ordered at their table and received the check at the end of their meal like regular table service. They offer a guest WiFi network, but definitely would not recommend taking any meetings or calls from this space; it's definitely not that kind of cafe! Food (5/5): I ordered the French Classic, which is egg, cheddar, and ham. It was SO delicious and generously portioned. I honestly didn't expect to feel so full, especially since this crepe wasn't as filled as some of the other ones on the menu, but wow! The crepe itself has a very lovely flavor and well complimented by the thin layer of egg inside. (Sidenote: I've gone back another time since I started writing this review, this time trying the 9am and the Lean Machine crepes. Both tasty and generous with the fillings, but I think the French Classic is still my favorite among the three. You get to taste the crepe itself more, and it's really good!) Service (5/5): I had very obviously portioned off and set aside half the crepe to take home and the staff very skillfully clocked it and handed me a box for it without me even asking. Everyone there is so friendly and attentive, and it really makes me want to keep coming back (and I will!).

The service was also super quick and friendly. They were very on top of it and we got seated and our food quickly. The cafe itself is nice and cozy. Well appointed and nice ambiance.

I ordered the "Double Trouble" -- French toast loaded with cookie dough, Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate sauce. Let me just say... that dish is a train straight to diabetes. In all seriousness, it was absolutely delicious and indulgent, but definitely on the overly sweet side. If you have a serious sweet tooth, this one's for you. My wife went with the Classic Eggs Benedict, and that was excellent -- well-balanced flavors and cooked just right. The breakfast potatoes, however, were a bit bland. They were cooked well texture-wise but could definitely use more seasoning. Service was so-so, though it seemed like they were pretty busy, which likely played a role. The location is great -- conveniently about a mile from Woodside Church, one of the largest churches in Michigan -- so I can imagine it gets especially packed on weekends. One important note: restroom maintenance needs attention. With only a single restroom per gender, cleanliness is critical. My wife noticed the toilet seat wasn't clean, which is something that should be addressed promptly, especially in a high-traffic establishment. Overall, the food quality was strong, particularly the main dishes, and we'd likely return -- but there are definitely a few operational details that could elevate the experience.

Inside has lots of booth seating and a full bar which was unexpected. Single stall bathrooms but the hand blower is really up high which seemed out of place. Big menu with both breakfast and lunch options. Also tons of boozey drink options, which feels a little out of place at a breakfast/lunch place? Tried the Benedict and French toast. Both were good and tasty. The side of potatoes has good flavoring. Bacon is just right with the cook. The portions was very generous too.
