I ordered the little Betty omelette. It is large in size. I asked for my toast option to be biscuits. They offer biscuits and gravy on the menu. The bartender looked at her handheld computer and said they don't do that. My boyfriend was tempted to order the biscuits and gravy and ask them to hold the gravy. I felt like it was more of an issue that she did not know how to request this on her handheld computer as opposed to this being unavailable to the customer. Either way, she did not seek it out further and told me no. I settled for the English muffin. My boyfriend ordered the classic eggs Benedict. MEH. The hollandaise sauce tasted a lot like mayonnaise that was yellow. He ordered a Diet Coke and it was flat. He was never offered a refill. I requested a refill of coffee, twice, from two different waitstaff. Neither followed through. My English muffin was served dry and I was never offered any butter or jelly. We left disappointed. I can't say that we would come back. There is a lot of competition in the area for breakfast and brunch places. The ambience is edgy and elegant giving off an elite vibe matched by the informative attentive staff and everything that was set before us. The barista approached us immediately taking our latte orders from a versatile coffee menu, and our lovely waitress Bailey didn't miss a beat welcoming us, fielding questions and sharing the restaurant's cool concept of "Host"-ing new chefs bimonthly representing freshly-curated menus of palate delights. She later informed us of classes held on 2nd floor for making cocktails and sushi! While enjoying our lovely lattes, we quickly ordered veggie omelets with mushroom and bacon additions that were timely served and clearly plated with care. My husband noticed there were no salt & pepper shakers anywhere, signifying the chef's confidence in his dishes! And indeed our meals needed no help, as we savored each bite of perfectly cooked omelets bursting with flavor complimented by crisp sliced potatoes dressed in a lemon drizzle. Easily the best omelet I've had in my hometown, probably in my state! I can't remember the name of the cocktail I had but it was named after a city. My husband tried the basque cheesecake and really liked it. I think it wasn't made by the restaurant if I remember correctly. The pizzas that I saw going back looked great and you could watch the guy making them. It would be lovely to have a gluten free crust option :)

I don't think they were too pricey pretty standard for breakfast today. Everything $17 and under is it seems. I did really like the Redskin potatoes and I am shocked because I'm usually not a fan of those as breakfast potatoes. Some places taste very bland, however the way they did theirs were very delicious. I felt that it was a ham that came off of the bone, which is a plus! The portion was very small because it wasn't a thick piece of ham. I think if they gave two slices, I would have give 5 stars.. The eggs were really good. I did enjoy the quality of egg that they use. The entire staff seemed very nice. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. They also came and cleaned the tables very often which I enjoy.
