My sister absolutely loves Kejsi and recently convinced my family and I to come here for brunch. I now understand why she's such a fan. The decor is chic and modern, with a bright, welcoming vibe. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive. Even the manager stopped by to chat and later came to say goodbye, which added such a personal touch. When my family and I arrived, we were seated immediately. We tried three different entrées to share: - Salmon Burger ($19): Served with crispy fries on the side, this burger came with coleslaw, tomato slices, and a spicy sauce that really made the salmon pop. The patty was thick, flavorful, and satisfying. Honestly, it was large enough to share if you're not super hungry. - Love O' Pistachio Pancakes ($17): This is a must-order if you love pistachio. Three fluffy pancakes are layered with chopped pistachios, topped with a scoop of creamy gelato, and drizzled with pistachio cream. It sounds heavy, but the sweetness is well-balanced. Had calamari and coffee. The coffee was good and strong. Had to add 50% more cream and sugar than usual. Calamari dipping sauce was good and reminded me of a combination of thousand island and red Italian. I love calamari and hot peppers, but they don't do well together. The peppers overshadowed the calamari. If I ordered again, I would ask for the peppers be deleted. Restaurant was very clean and the servers attentive. read more

I sat at the bar on prime sunday brunch hours. Every seat was filled, and the owner was the one who mainly helped me. He was a great server, and made a delicious fresh martini. The coffee used was so good. I think almost every staff member in here asked how I was doing and/or if I needed anything. I regret not stopping in sooner! The food, service and atmosphere is excellent. Dina was our attentive, extremely pleasant server. Another server, Violet, came over to converse with us, and she was also extremely pleasant. First time here I had a typical eggs, bacon and toast, but not typical at all. The bacon was thick cut and excellent. I opted for the cheesy polenta side instead of the red skinned potatoes (but had some of my husband's potatoes) both were excellent. The background music playing was an eclectic mix of House/Chill Dance Techno/Electronica. You could easily have a conversation without it being too loud. The cushioned booth seating was very comfortable as Im sure the cushioned chairs at the tables will be. All in all a very pleasant enjoyable experience. Had lunch today . The food is really good and the service is friendly and quick . My only complaint is the silverware is slightly difficult to use . The handles are heavy, but the fork tines and the knife edge are much thinner and lighter . It's a weird weight balance . Hopefully they change this . Otherwise it's a really nice place . Then there's the food itself--the chicken and waffles was foo foo and my husband loved it--even said he doesn't know if he can go back to regular/plain chicken and waffles. I had the pistachio pancakes and they were so different and yummy! Great strong coffee! They have Mickey Mouse pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes for the kiddos (not on their menu) a though pricey ($15) for the chocolate chip pancakes it was enough for two under 10 to split. A coworker wanted pancakes so we decided to try Kejsi Brunch. The menu is minimal without many traditional options, so I chose to order the American breakfast for $16, which includes two cage-free eggs, choice of pork sausage, veggie sausage, or thick-cut bacon. Polenta or potatoes. Served with bread. I ordered my eggs over easy, and they came out over medium/well, which didn't leave much yolk uncooked. Thankfully I did have enough runny yolk to dip my toast in because you only get half a slice of toast. The potatoes were phenomenal, though, but I still won't be back because I can get the same breakfast with two whole pieces of toast at any family restaurant for $7-$9, and the eggs will be cooked properly. read more

Been there a few times, and each time the food was exceptional and a novel menu. However, each time the acoustics and music were an issue. Difficult to carry on a conversation over the loud African type music with bongos and chants. Add the clanging of dinnerware and other conversations, we don't think we will be back. Couldn't wait to leave. Dining music should be subtle and belongs in the background. Too noisy with all the hard surfaces and about half the tables talking. They might want to look into putting some sound-absorbing cork tiles above the windows and/or a heavy fabric valence to absorb sound. We will wait a while to see if we will be back. Too bad, clean, nice restaurant, good food but annoying to try and enjoy a meal and have a conversation. read more

I am very disappointed with this place. I got here 11:50 and I got served at 1:40. They ran out of strawberry's and pistachios. The workers here were nice and our server was really nice . Because of the delay in time they took off all the drink on the bill which was nice. The place was pretty clean. They got my order for a latte wrong by not adding vanilla. My kids ordered a smoothie and the workers didn't give us it until 30 minutes later. It took about 1 hour and 30 mins to get our food. I know this place is new but they should be prepared and ready for a busy day. The food here was okay it wasn't great or anything and they gave you small portions of everything including drinks for a big price. Until this restaurant steps up their game I will not be coming here again. I saw other people getting upset about the wait. There were other people who came in 15 minutes after us and they got served first because they were related to a worker. They did not impress me. Small portions. This place isn't bad but I just think some things could change, I also think that they could've opened it later to be more prepared and ready. Late on food. There was no soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in the bathroom. Kejsi could be more prepared. Will not be coming back until they get their stuff together read more
