I met with Laurie H. for breakfast at 9am to this new business to enjoy based on other reviews from friends. Yes it is a large restaurant with a variety of coffee flavors, creative entrees and large portions too. Food entrees are made from scratch with unique finishing touches. I wish the entree I chose included a side of meat choice but that was extra $$. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted a table and chair or booth so we agreed on the comfy leather booth that is bright yellow. The overall atmosphere was bright and wide open with variety of areas to sit for breakfast, brunch and lunch only. I didn't like the open steel metal ceiling therefore it was noisy. This location is owned by the Perkaj Brothers and they are the Chefs. I posted their Facebook photo showing their Happy Smiles at running this location. I ordered the French Toast with Nutella and Bananas tells ALL and Oh My Deeeelicious it was from start to finish cleaning my plate which cost $17.00 without a meat as a side. That was extra...hmm ?? I wished to try some bacon or pork sausage but not. I ordered a Hot Caramel Latte and that taste perfectly for $5.00. Iced Water was complimentary upon request so we ordered tall glasses. NO advance Reservations so if you have a large party or wish to enjoy Brunch here with family, better check ahead of time, since they will be busy on the weekend so I heard. I noticed on my receipt that they offer a loyalty program to earn points on your dining experience unfortunately the waitress did not mention it when we were ready to pay our bill. I'll have to think about if I return again for another breakfast or lunch visit. Again the atmosphere is bright and music was pleasant that we could still chat and catch up on our lives. :-) Countertop bar area and dining too with Mimosas or alcohol drinks with breakfast, brunch or lunch. Photos attached of the Bar Countertopm Service was efficient and table setting wonderful with fresh flowers, assorted creams and sugars plus clean silverware and napkins plenty. Demi the waitress checked on us a couple times before bringing our bills to check out. Ouch on My breakfast total which was $23.00 before tip. Food Portion was plentiful yet a bit high price especially without a side. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options with Fresh Fruit available as a side. I would still like to come back for a Lunch hour and enjoy a wrap and sit near the front area that opens up for a breeze at a high top. Pretty decent place here. Came today for Mother's Day brunch and was expecting to wait a long time for seating. However, since it was just me and my son, we were able to get seated right away. They had a Mother's Day brunch menu so I didn't get to try other main things for their menu. However, I do think they pulled selected items from their main menu for today. The food was really good. I did enjoy it and I think that they had a nice portion size. I don't think they were too pricey pretty standard for breakfast today. Everything $17 and under is it seems. I did really like the Redskin potatoes and I am shocked because I'm usually not a fan of those as breakfast potatoes. Some places taste very bland, however the way they did theirs were very delicious. I felt that it was a ham that came off of the bone, which is a plus! The portion was very small because it wasn't a thick piece of ham. I think if they gave two slices, I would have give 5 stars.. The eggs were really good. I did enjoy the quality of egg that they use. The entire staff seemed very nice. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. They also came and cleaned the tables very often which I enjoy. It's nice to be able to enjoy your food and get unnecessary plates and garbage out of the way. Overall, I would definitely come back and enjoy this place. I will come again to see the regular menu as it seems. They have lots of different foods that I would love to try. read more

Ambiance was very nice. The service was exceptional. The Avocado Toast was delicious and filling and the presentation of the dishes was outstanding. I notice little things as well as the big picture and I can definitely say that every detail has been well thought out. From the decor to the beautiful upholstered seating, to the layout of the restaurant, it all made for a unique experience. We had a warm April morning when we were there and I noticed that they do have an area for outdoor eating under the roof with fresh air and sunshine to enhance your visit. They do serve liquor if you'd like to enjoy this type of beverage with your meal. I had a cup of coffee with my Avocado Toast breakfast. They offer a variety of creamers and sweeteners which was another detail overlooked at most other restaurants. As I mentioned, it's the fine details that make this unique restaurant different from all the others. I also notice when I'm dining how clean or dirty a restaurant is and I was very impressed at the cleanliness. They keep their menus cleaned and there was sanitizer at the table. All of these little touches make a huge difference when there are many restaurants in our area to choose from. Tangled Apron goes above the ordinary to make your visit extraordinary. I know there's much more I could write about when I come back for future visits, but with this review, I did give a glimpse and picture of what I noticed during the short time I was here for breakfast. read more

Pleasant, beautifully decorated interior, bright and cheerful. We ordered a veggie omelette and the avocado goat cheese scramble. Both were good but liked the scramble better. They were served with fresh fruit served in a beautiful tall glass dish. It also came with toast but was not good - dry, cold and no jelly until requested. The coffee was good but for $4 would have preferred fresh cream in pitcher on table. Food was priced on the high side but overall good experience. read more

Was seated quickly at a two top, smaller parties are easier to get in sooner. Nice interior decor. Outside looks good as well. Our waiter, Mathew, asked us to be patient with us, it's his second day using the handheld Toast POS system to place the order. He's friendly and super attentive. On top of keeping my husband's coffee topped off. Ordered a coffee and green tea, corn beef hash harvest chicken melt with fruit side. $61.59 The coffee and green tea is very boring and average. The tea tastes like Lipton tea. The food was out in less than 10 minutes, lightning fast with the food here, check out before we are half way into our food. Burn and churn customers through. The harvest chicken melt is good. Like hen pesto. The bread is nicely toasted. Sliced pickles are crunchy and good as well. The house jam is good. The Greek salad is romaine and greens, that's a good thing. Dressing is beet infused, it's ok. Not loving the sliced yellow peppers, rather potent than the whole. I usually like to eat them separately, but it's all over the salad. The pitas are blah, soggy on one side. Corn beef hash skillet was decent. The corn beef is super thin and looks to be deli like. They have been open about 4 months. Mom and I went on Friday around 11am so we didn't have to wait to be seated. What struck me at first was the attractive, large outside entrance and the very pretty, bright and clean inside. There are fresh flowers on the table, which is a nice touch. Mom and I have pretty much stopped having coffee out as the price is silly but we really wanted our coffee this late morning so we both ordered a cup. We didn't think to look at the price, figuring it would hover around $3.00...nope, $4.00 a CUP! AND A small cup at that! But it was very delicious. The coffee was hot, smooth and rich, but really $4.00, what is going on with prices everywhere! Our service was excellent. The vibes inside reminded me of First Watch but on a prettier and larger scale. The food was excellent. There is plenty of parking. My only complaint is we had leftovers so they gave us a plastic box and cup for the fruit, along with a cheap, flimsy bag to put it in. I put the box in the bottom and the fruit cup on top and it slid all over. The gravy spilled through the box and the juice of the fruit spilled a bit as well. $40.00 for brunch for 2 - nope, can't do that very often, not when I haven't been able to get a 'normal paying' job since 2022. This job and overall economy is tight. But I'm glad we went and when we save up enough we will return. read more

Was excited to try Tangled Apron for the first time. We waited about 15 minutes for a table on a Sunday, even though the restaurant wasn't full. It seemed like they were short staffed, but the servers were hustling. It took a bit for someone to greet us, but our waitress Jenna was kind and doing her best. The ambience was a nice--bright, clean, and well designed. I especially appreciated the fresh flowers on each table. It's a small touch, but made the space feel welcoming and cared for. What really threw off the experience was the constant, aggressive bell ringing from the kitchen--loud and rapid, over and over. We asked about it and were told the owner rings it when food isn't being picked up fast enough. But no one was standing around--they were clearly moving. It felt demoralizing for the staff and was honestly uncomfortable for us as customers. I ordered the Country Style Burrito for $16. It didn't come with a side and was mostly potatoes with a few pieces of sausage and veggies. Not worth the price, and I expected more substance or at least something extra on the plate. I'm giving 3 stars because they're still new and the staff was doing their best under pressure. I'll give it another shot in a few months to see if things improve. Hopefully with a better system and a happier team. read more

My Sister and I went here for the first time. The place is very pretty inside and the service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Will definitely always be a candidate for a place to go to that's for sure. The montecristo was so wonderful and the mimosas. read more

New breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in the area. Very pretty, light and airy space, good for large groups. Nice circular booths along with high tops and counter seating. The front has roll up windowed doors for patio-like seating which will be nice as the weather warms. Staff was very nice, especially our server Ava. Food came out quick and hot. Coffee is pretty good. The dishes fell short relative to taste. No buildup of flavor in the Meat Lovers Skillet other than the taste of chopped up breakfast sausage, bacon and deli ham mixed with potatoes, some melted cheddar cheese and scrambled eggs on top, which by itself was benign in flavor. Disappointing taste and meat portion for $17. Power Protein Scrambler came with a nice portion of fresh fruit, but again no flavor with the egg & chicken scramble and the portion was relatively small. Overall our tab was almost $44, without tax and tip, for two breakfast dishes and two coffees, which is hefty for a simple tasting breakfast. The ambience, interior and service are great but the food and portion needs to be better to make it worthwhile for us. read more

My friend and I are always on the hunt for places to have lunch (or, in this case brunch) and Tangled Apron did not disappoint. It just opened at the end of May 2025 so it's still finding its place, but overall we loved it. Walking in the place is well decorated with plenty of seating options. They have booths, bar seating and high tops for 2 or 4 people. I noticed some larger parties with tables pushed together. The waiting area has some seats, but the entrance also doubles as the exit so if it's busy with people waiting (like it was for us today) there's a lot of "excuse me's" going on to get in and out of the place. They serve breakfast and lunch, but have a much larger breakfast food selection upon reviewing the menu. They have a variety of items to choose from like omelet's, crepes, Belgian waffles for breakfast and for lunch they have salads, some hamburgers and a chicken sandwich. We waited about 20+ minutes and were seated and our server was quite nice. I got an omelet and my friend got a skillet. Both were huge portions! With my omelet I had the option of getting hash browns or a bowl of fruit. I chose hash browns and they were quite good. I did have to request jelly since there wasn't any on the table. It came out in a little dish! I don't know if it's made in house but it was really really good. Most dishes run around $18 so be prepared. But the portions are quite large so you do get what you pay for. I docked a star for a few reasons. First, the acoustics in here were very loud. It was hard to have a conversation at times and i think it's from the open ceilings. Whatever it is, it's borderline deafening at times. Also, For whatever reason there was a lot of spilled on the floor from previous patrons and other patrons eating. I don't think the staff saw or checked under the table because they pushed the tables together after we left. Not a crime just an annoyance. Overall I enjoyed my time here and would eat here again but when it's far less busy. Great food selection, plenty of parking and well decorated. read more

If I could rate a 3.5 I would. I truly had higher expectations for this place. The ambiance is lovely - very modern with lots of natural lighting and plants. The staff present well and look cleaned up. The food however, is nothing to rave about. I got the turkey wrap that came with sweet potato fries. The main ingredient was deli meat, while freshly prepared it was still mediocre. My daughter got chocolate chip pancakes in a Mickie Mouse shape. We both got a smoothie priced at $9 each. My 6 year old excitedly picked the watermelon strawberry flavor... but it was watered down so she had no more than a sip and drank her plain water instead *sigh*. Our bill was over $50. I spent $60 incl the tip for a deli wrap, pancakes from the kids menu and bland smoothies . Unless I come back for the cocktails (seasonal fall flavors - dang it they got me there) it wouldn't be for anything else. read more

1st, to be clear, I am a fan of First Watch. I like their menu, both food and beverage. I also like their rustic chic ambiance. That said, I'd rate Tangled Apron one full star better. My server Coryne was charming, available and helpful throughout my dining experience. Prices are about what everyone else is charging. It is incredibly expensive for breakfast anymore. More than $20+ per person. You can go to less expensive places, but the food and atmosphere is not as good. Definitely paying for the atmosphere. Food is better than First Watch in regards to options, flavor, and portions which would be a fair comp. On par with the rest of restaurants with fresher food and modern vibe. We are lucky that in this area that we have several great options for upscale breakfast experiences. This one is added to my list for sure. read more

Went for lunch and while the service and place I would give a 5 star rating the food and price was disappointing. The patty melt was large but lacked any flavor no rye bread taste and the meat was large but again no flavor. The waffles and chicken while nice size lacked flavor and with spending $50.00 for lunch I found the prices were very high. Fist time here and there was not much to complain about. Wife ordered some kind of a fruity waffle. said it was very good, just need more of a fruit or maple syrup to it. I had the Monty Cristo, very good and side of fresh fruit was outstanding. Great portions, like the large dining area because who wants to wait in line for breakfast. Food was good and nicely presented but for the price I'd rather go where an omelette is baked and fluffy- not just a scrambled egg like pancake folded and filled. Atmosphere was very nice Food delivery was very slow (about 25 min or more) even though restaurant was not packed as it was mid day on a Tuesday. Was told after asking that the kitchen staff was new and the manager or owner was helping in the kitchen. Should not have had to ask. Should have been provided that information while waiting. Coffee refill was not even offered during the wait. Waitstaff never returned to the table until food was delivered. Was ready to hoist a flat to see if our table was remembered!! lol! Once food was delivered and started to be consumed it was discovered that one of the main ingredients was omitted from the sandwich (avocado). 1/2 the sandwich remained and so avocado to go with remainder was provided to take home. $18 for the omelette was kind of pricey IMO. The other patrons sandwich was $15 I believe and served without all ingredients. Not real eager to return. read more
