We were out on Hall Road for a morning doctors appointment and decided to have breakfast on the way home. We went a little farther down hall Road looking for a restaurant option. I actually pulled into the parking lot to check out the yelp reviews and saw that this Le Andos Cafe was in the parking lot. I pulled into and had really good reviews so that's how we ended up at this restaurant. The inside of this restaurant is small with only a few tables and booths. The waitress that immediately came to get our beverage order was so pleasant and sweet that we knew we were gonna have a very good experience here. We were right and she was sweet and right on top of the service and everything was great. I got what was called a green machine omelette that was absolutely delicious and my friend got a meat eaters omelette. My friend doesn't particularly like regular hashbrowns, but he did eat those and we both probably would go back there again if we were out that direction. read more

Since I have time off during the holiday season, I've been trying to stretch my comfort zone and try new places outside of my normal spots. This place came up since it was en route to where I was going and not to far out of the way for me. I wanted a hearty breakfast, so I stopped in and got seated. It's not very big in here and seating's limited to 4 tops. The menu actually has a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items to choose from, so I went with the gyro omelet with hash browns. Food came out quickly, and my server was nice and super friendly. The portions are huge and the omelet itself was only $12.50. Overall not a bad experience, and I would return in the future. I've gotten carryout from LeAndo's probably 20 times in the past few years. The food has been absolutely wonderful every time!! Whether it's an order of sweet, chocolaty cannoli crepes, a crisp caesar salad, or a juicy bacon cheeseburger - you can't go wrong! My breakfast order today though was one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had. Easily top 3!! I ordered their Banana Bread French Toast from their Specials board. I couldn't stop myself from eating several bites before I could take a picture lol It looks more like banana bread pancakes, but they were incredible either way! It's a thick piece of banana bread in between two thin pancakes, then topped with slices of fresh bananas and caramel sauce. Food was great, but super slow to arrive today. The servers were very nice but not great at communicating delays. Not sure what was going on or if this is the new norm. The food & service industry is tough, & we'll always give grace, but unusual delays should come with some sort of explanation/apology, otherwise it feels like you aren't respecting the time of your customers. Absolutely stellar, can't recommend Le Andos Cafe enough. Wanted to try something new while visiting family in the area and found them on Yelp. We had a great experience and went back every single day for the rest of our trip. From the outside the place looks like any other diner you'd see in a strip mall but the menu tells a different story. They've got all of the breakfast/lunch staples you'd expect (and they're all done well) but it's the way they execute their novelty sweet selections that really impressed us. For example, we tried the Cookie Dough French Toast. I was expecting generic french toast with some little balls of cookie dough sprinkled on top with whipped cream. What came to our table was two pieces of excellent french toast with a burger patty sized chunk of something that looked like cookie dough in the middle. The first bite had all three layers and was fantastic. It was exactly how I imagined it would taste. About half way through breakfast I got more curious and tried the filling on it's own. The dough wasn't nearly as sweet as regular cookie dough; the texture and flavor are spot on but in terms of sugar, it was surprisingly mild. They used the sweetness of the toast and the other other toppings to balance the whole thing out and prevent it from being too overwhelming or cloying. Everything we tried was thoughtful and balanced in equally impressive ways. All in all, it was great and I'll definitely be back again. read more

I have been wanting to check out this restaurant for the longest time and finally had a Sunday morning free. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted and told we had 2 tables in front of us. We only had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table which gave me plenty of time to check out all of the specials on the board. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us her favorites off the menu we opted for an omelette and the crepes Florentine. The menu is very extensive and I don't think there is a wrong choice, loved how cozy and comfortable the restaurant is and we will definitely be back to check out more of the menu! read more

The apple French toast used a lot of canned apples, just dumped on the toast. A lot of canned syrup and a lot of caramel. But even the caramel wasn't rich. It was just not good. Wow I haven't been here in years but so glad I came back! Decided to grab breakfast with my brunch buddy and knew I needed to order something sweet. I settled on the Bananas Foster French Toast with a side of bacon and she went savory with the West Coast Crepe. WOW WOW WOW. I love everything banana and this literally hit the flavor profile out of the park! The French toast was so delicious and the bananas and roasted pecans were so good. I ate every last bite and would definitely come back and eat it again. The restaurant is small so be prepared for a weekend wait. I only waited 10 mins or so this visit but it can be longer. I guess I got my hopes up with all the previous positive reviews, but I'd be happy never coming back here again. Service was mediocre at best. Our waitress was not very pleasant, she came over once to take our order and one other time to give us our meal. That was it. We ordered a combo breakfast meal (eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage w/ toast) and an omelette. Not a very difficult order, yet took an hour to get it. It was a Sunday morning, but not very busy. There were empty tables among the 10 tables total. Other people were being seated, ordering, and eating before we even got our meals. When they finally brought our meals, the waitress said that the toast would be another few minutes. A few minutes later we get one order of toast and had to wait again for the second order. The food was fine, but I could probably make a better omelette at home. It definitely could have used more cheese because all the insides were just falling out. The table next to us got waffles and crepes. Those looked much better and if I could have ordered again, maybe I would get one of those. Anyways.. from one yelper to another, do not waste your time going to Le Andos Cafe! There are so many better breakfast spots in the area. read more

A hidden gem and one of my local favorites! I've come here a handful of times over the past few years and it's never let me down. Comparatively low prices for so much food- I always have leftovers! The service is good and the seating area is cozy. It's a smaller restaurant space so it does get busy on weekday mornings - be aware you may wait a bit. I've gone for a later brunch and had no wait time. This visit I got the Chunky Monkey Crepes- some of the best crepes I've had. I've been here a few times now when visiting family and it's always been a good experience. The food is fresh and tasty, and the service polite and efficient. This time was no different. My mom got the lulu lemon french toast, which she said was divine. I'm gluten free now so couldn't verify, but boy did I want to! I got the special, but opted for GF blueberry pancakes and GF toast, which was a hefty surcharge. The GF pancakes where fantastic. I couldn't tell the difference at all! The toast seems like maybe it's Udis so not anything special, but I'm happy they have the option. This is a little hole in the wall in a shopping center. We showed up pretty early on a Sunday and the place was hoping. There are not a lot of tables and not much room to sit and wait, but luckily there was a table open. The staff did a great job of navigating through, and getting the food out quickly. The waitress helped me navigate the menu as I am celiac. She said they use a different area to cook in or will use a pan. I got a veggie hash and did not get sick. Great local diner serving breakfast and lunch. Very short drive from the Hotel District off Van Dyke Fwy. We came for breakfast on the Friday after Christmas. Had to wait for a table. Didn't take but maybe five minutes to wait. This is a small dining room and the locals order take out. I can see why. It's busy but they do a fabulous job serving tables and keeping customers happy. We were seated in a booth and it didn't take long to place our drink and food orders. They brought out the coffee and milk that we wanted right away. Creamers are in the table as well as syrup, jellies, salt and pepper, and two hot sauces. Teenage son ordered the Campfire S'mores Crepe and loved it. Hubby ordered The Godfather omelette with a side of pancakes. He loved his omelet. I ordered the Irish Godfather omelette with a side of hash browns. Besides the fact that the kid's Mickey pancakes can fill up a small zebra, there are no complaints. Everything is fresh and so delicious. They brought over some crayons and coloring paper so my daughter didn't get bored while sipping on chocolate milk. The French toast was so good and we had a blast eating this fantastic breakfast.
