We've been going to Moni's for several years. Breakfast mostly. Their breakfast menu is fantastic! The food is always fresh and well prepared. The service and staff are excellent! I get together with friends once per month for a breakfast meeting. We are always served promptly and the coffee is replenished often. My friend and I had a nice lunch here. Upon entering, I noticed how bright and cheery and upbeat the restaurant is. Everything is clean and neat and the servers are all super friendly. I ordered the baked cod which came with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and delicious green beans. I chose coleslaw for my side which also came with a nice slice of thick bread. The service was fantastic with multiple stops at our table to check on us. I was very impressed from the time we walked in and were welcomed until we left with a warm goodbye and to have a nice day. This family owned business is a true gem. I highly recommend giving it a try if you've never been here. I'm sure you'll be impressed with Moni's just like I was. read more

Mom is 86 and has Parkinson's making it difficult for her to go anywhere but once a day we like to try and go out to eat. When possible we like to try new restaurants. On Valentines day we decided to have brunch at a the new (to us) restaurant. There is plenty of parking with easy walk up to the doors. There is plenty of seating for both booths or tables. We came around Noon on Friday and were seated and serviced right away. All the workers were very knowledgeable, capable and friendly. Mom ordered a Hawaiian wrap with ham and pineapple. I was hungry and torn between biscuits and gravy or lasagna. Am I glad I ordered the lasagna as it was the best I have ever had! All the ingredients were so fresh and I swear they must have made the noodles themselves as they were absolutely delicious. There was just the right amount of meat, cheese and sauce. Just loved it. The coffee was strong and constantly replenished. I wanted dessert and opted for the whipped cheesecake. The graham cracker crust was very tasty but I left half of the dessert as I discovered I prefer traditional cheesecake vs the whipped vs. Mom had a few bites and felt the same way. Huge surprise bonus: a young couple that sat across from us, unbeknownst to us, bought our meal! Wow! No one has ever done that. I was so touched. It was a blessing too as I in the last two years I have earned a fraction of what I had been earning the last several years...really struggling. read more

Ordered chicken noodle soup to go, bill was $14 for a large to go cup. Way overpriced first of all and the guy at the counter was said "are you going to buy it or no", this was odd. I took it home and it was some weird meat, not chicken, my kids would not eat it. What a waste! Will not return. read more

I was so impressed with Moni's for the cleanliness, the beautiful modern decor, and of course, the delicious breakfast! There were so many good choices, but I went with the deuces wild, which was a nice spread of two eggs, meat, fruit, American potatoes (AMAZING), and pancakes, I added chocolate chips for a little sweet touch! There are so many breakfast spots but Moni's has become a top favorite with their prices, quality, and the friendliness from everyone that works there. Can't wait to go back! read more

Only reason I give this place 2 stars is because the food was well prepared. But I am a cook myself now for 12 years and it's shameful the amount of hash browns they gave me for a breakfast I paid $20 for including tip(breakfast was $16 and some change). Who's the one in charge of portioning? Barely any hashbrowns in the box. First and might be last time I eat here. This is supposed to be their big breakfast with all sausage. Needless to say with a lack of hashbrowns, the breakfast isn't so big. read more

I was early for my hair appointment next door and since I had time to kill, I stopped in here for breakfast. Fortunately, it wasn't super busy and I was seated right away and grazed over the menu. They have a variety of different options on the menu, mostly breakfast and lunch. I didn't want a huge meal so I went with the greek breakfast wrap with cheese. Food was good, a bit salty but overall really good. Total bill was $10.06 after tax, and I was able to pay the waitress directly since I had cash and exact change. The restaurant is large with ample seating and my server was fabulous. Not over decorated but well done enough that I didn't feel like it was old or dated. Some of the food dishes can be on the pricier side here but overall not half bad. Would return in the future if I was in the area. read more

My S.I.L. raved about this place, so we came for dinner with them and it did not disappoint. I chose the mushroom swiss burger (cooked to order!) and my hubs had the double cheeseburger. The food came out quick and the place is super clean! Wide variety of items on the menu and beverages were topped often (*bonus points for fresh-brewed iced tea). Family-owned and Jeanie was a doll. Even though the menu for all the salads says garlic or pita bread. It's only served with garlic bread. Not very self-explanatory. So the poor waitress is stuck telling the customer. Service was good. Our server was nice attentive. The food came out way too fast. Both meals were luke warm. The bacon was super tough, like beef Jerky. My omlette was hot on the inside and warm on the outside. Hash browns were watery, and the sausage gravy was also luke warm. I have a feeling some of it was microwaved. The interior was beautiful, very modern, and the seats were comfortable. The owners were standing near the hostess stand and watching over the crowd. We were in the area for a hockey tournament and needed a quick place to eat with a large group with many different meal requests. This place fit the bill! We were greeted by the owners and they quickly set up table for our very large group. The ordering did take a few minutes as people arrived in waves but the staff was AWESOME and the food was very good. There was something for everyone. However, if you're in the mood for Avocado toast (a couple different ways on the menu...then...fart noise).. steer clear. Not good. It's not even homemade Avocado. Clear difference between the "creamy green houmous style avocado spread" they use on their toast and "homemade smashed (lumpy)" like you get at "HOST" or "FIRSTWATCH" It did not even cover the entire piece of toast, why? (2 pieces of toast but 1 tomato... huh? Did the waitress come by..? She walked by non-stop asking if "everything good"? By the time I looked up to know what happened, she was already around the corner. That was it. A different water girl (great, came by a few times), a different coffee girl (great, came by a few times)... Host/Owner seemed nice upon giving my "table for two" sign from the door, and who did come by as we were getting up to pay our bill... just bad timing. We will go back 1 more time - definitely order something different, plenty on the menu to choose from...we now know what to avoid. Will try one more time, hopefully a better experience. read more

The restaurant is a family owned restaurant where the family has given up and sacrificed a lot of their lives for their customers. It's run by a mom and pop and their sons. My family and I and clients of ours have eaten there many times and we will continue to support this restaurant. These people try to offer tasty food, healthy home made options at reasonable prices. If something isn't good, isn't right, all you have to do is say so and they would be happy to make things right. They are good people that have always worked hard to please their customers. Sure I'm sure they could make a few changes to better the overall experience of their restaurant, but at least they care to try to make people happy. My faily was one of the very first to visit. They survived a major street reconstruction that blocked their street for months.... and than Covid. I am so happy that they survived and now have a thriving business. They recently did a major redo of the inside decor although it was very nice before. The place is very clean and the waiters, cooks, and owners are very friendly. We are a long time customer and they know all of us so often have discussions about how our family and the waiters and owners are doing. I like that much of their food is higher quality components than what you often find in a restaurant. Some is also home made like their salad dressing. You don't see that attention to detail in even much higher priced restaurants Their salads are very fresh and a variety of items.... not just a few leaves of iceberg lettuce. Their hamburgers use high quality beef....not the usual frozen patties of mystery beef. Some of their specialty dishes my family loves are the Strawberry Chicken salad, Stuffed Green Peppers (my wife's favorite), and the various breakfast standard breakfast items. We had lunch there today and my wife again praised the Green Peppers. Lots of food and she took some of it with her for lunch tomorrow. Louie, the owner, knows she loves them so always tells us when they have a fresh batch. The servers are very good, polite, attentive, and service is fast... even at rush times. read more

This little family diner has been here for years, but it took a while for us to try it. It is tucked into a corner and sort of just sits there quietly. But most of the customers there are local regulars who have found this gem. We decided to try it out after the big Veterans Day snow storm of 2019. 9.5 inches of fluffy white snow fell over the area in an unexpected very early fall snow storm. Schools were closed and most people stayed home from work. Perfect day for a warm breakfast. The restaurant was clean and quiet and we were promptly greeted and seated. we had a warm cup of coffee in front of is immediately. The waitress was kind and helpful at making menu recommendations. I ordered the half order of cinnamon french toast and some bacon. The pic may not look like much, but this was a special order. Food was fantastic. They have q nice variety of options and you get a ton of food (which is why I ordered something special, I would could never eat all of that food). I also ordered a BLT carry out for my son. Two breakfasts and a BLT for $21!!?? I'll take it! It costs more than that to eat at McDonald's! If you're in the area, and want breakfast or lunch, I encourage you to try this place. I wish that I had better things to say about this restaurant, I really do. They have a spectacular array of things to choose from on their breakfast menu, my only problem is that they are consistently poorly executed. I have visited them several times, and was disappointed on every visit. I once ordered steak and eggs and requested my steak to be cooked medium rare. Upon arrival, I found it to be cooked very well done. Upon our last visit, my fiancé placed a carry out order and ordered apple pancakes off of the "specialty pancake " menu. What he Received upon his arrival home were cold, ordinary pancakes with raw apple slices on top. The food is definitely sub par. Although the service is always very warm and friendly, the food is always a letdown. read more
