We were excited to check it out. We waited about 15 minutes but instead of waiting in the very small vestibule we were able to wait in the truck. We ordered the banana foster French toast and the breakfast tacos. Both meals were large and delicious. Our waiter was Jacob who did a great job. Our third visit to the Maple Spot, and we're still impressed with everything they're doing: food quality is still high, as is the service and the overall look and cleanliness of the place. This visit, she had the Irish skillet breakfast and I had the traditional two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The skillet is home fries topped with corned beef, Swiss cheese, onions and peppers and two eggs, and she says it was a delicious blend of flavors. She'd opted for white toast and I had the whole wheat: both thick cuts and served with mixed berry preserves (which is sold by the jar, if you like it as much as we did). With water, our bill came to about $26 after the 3% discount for payment in cash...not bad, considering the price of food in general. read more

Great new brunch spot. I can't say this is anything extra special but the food was good and the autumn specials were interesting. I got the waffle. Nothing came with it. I ordered a side of sausage. Had to ask for butter. You make a beautiful crispy waffle you should serve a nice dollop of whipped butter. Hubby got a club sandwich and he said it was good. Came with fries. It is VERY loud when crowded. Very hard to hear. Our waitress had to take our order again because she forgot to hit send on the electronic tablet they use. Never saw her again but the bus boy was very helpful. Not sure if we would go back mainly cause it's not close by and there are other brunch spots just as good. read more

Went for breakfast/brunch and found Maple Spot on Yelp, came here because of the good reviews. This place is in a shopping plaza but once you go in, it's a super cute restaurant. It was packed when we arrived around 11:00 AM but were seated right away. The service here was super-fast and my waitress was on point, gave great recommendations and was nice. I ordered the following: Mocha Latte 10/10 perfect balance of mocha & coffee, not too sweet. Greek Omelet, 9/10 great, filling and healthy. Maybe a little bit more flavor needed but it was good. My plus one got the breakfast meal with two eggs and bacon. The bacon was a little overdone for our liking. Came out stiff as a board. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - They were good but not memorable since I've had better. Pancakes were thick with blueberries and there could have been more cream cheese glaze on top, felt a bit dry. However, it was not bad and if you like thick pancakes, you would like it. IMO. The total was $55 for two people, decent. Free parking in the plaza. Would probably go back for the coffee and the omelet. read more

Overpriced breakfast. Ordered a standard breakfast with multigrain bread. The toast didn't arrive with the meal and when it did, it was burnt. So I flagged the waitress and told her that the toast was burned. She said, " would you like me to send it back ?" Well DUH! Maple Spot is the perfect balance of family dining with quality food and a modern, comfortable atmosphere. Kelly was fabulous and took wonderful care of us with her friendly personality and great humor. We also noticed that the owner came around and was really hands-on. This is something I love seeing in small businesses and you can tell he takes great pride in his restaurant's success. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully! They have gluten free waffle/pancake options and even make their own house, made triple berry jam- phenomenal! I had the lox avocado toast, which was the perfect salty and lemony balance with the toast (loved that they had sourdough as an option)! My guy had the skillet and we shared the raspberry crêpes, and both did not disappoint! We both remarked how clean the restaurant was, and even though it was busy, we were seated quickly and our food arrived promptly. I would love to come back again! read more

This was my first visit here and overall was a good experience. I wonder if given it 5 stars however the waitress we had was not very attentive. We had to call over the bus boy twice to get drink refills and another waitress once to get jelly for the toast and then brought us drink refills. In fact our waitress even ignored us when we were finished eating and our empty plates sat there for at least 5 minutes. She even ignored us when she was at the table right next to us when she had finished she turned the other way and when I said excuse me miss she kept walking so then I said louder ma'am then she turned and I asked her for our bill and she said oh yes I'm getting it now. When she brought the bill and I gave her cash knowing that the balance was going to be the tip I did not intend on giving it to her but to the busboy and the other waitress who had actually helped us. She then had the nerve to ask if we were all set with giving her the money to include a tip and I said no I'll take my change please. When she returned with the change which included a few pennies I left the pennies in the tray for her and I split the tip between the busboy and the other waitress then we left. The food was fabulous and we were very pleased with the quality and the portion for the price. We will probably come back again the next time we're in the mood for a good brunch to give it another chance with hopefully a different waitress. read more

To say that this place exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I came here with the expectations of a small strip mall breakfast place and was introduced to a bustling hot commodity. The staff was great, our server, Emily, was attentive and focused, even as she was juggling full tables. Everything came out rather quickly, and was still perfect. The breakfast burrito was amazing and a lot more than expected. The campfire waffle was perfect, I was truly blown out of the water by how good it was, one of the best waffles I've ever had. One thing that I think they should change is to dial back the guy walking around with coffee. He is intrusive and says things he thinks are funny - but really are annoying. My friend and I were trying to have a serious conversation - but he kept interrupting - saying strange things - again trying to be funny. Our third visit here and certainly not our last. First the service was outstanding. Our waitress Leza was very attentive and courteous. Next the ambiance, bright and cheery with clean and open styling. And finally the food. We loved everything we tried! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and the presentation was just as impressive. Today's pick was the Caprese Chicken sandwich with a generous portion of their amazing French fries. The sandwich had great flavors and ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. My husband's choice was the western omelet which was also perfectly cooked with crispy hash browns. Dunno. I won't be back. The owner's ego filled the room. It was embarrassing. He asked me if I wanted coffee, I said 'yes, please' and he told me 'it's in the corner, go get it yourself.'. The table behind me mentioned his behavior to the waitress, and she replied 'oh, he's just friendly, he treats you like you're family'.... Sir, you are not my family. It felt predatory and weird.. maybe it's just me. Food was good. I made a mistake on ordering ham on my eggs bene. Had to go up to the bar to ask for more napkins, ketchup, and coffee. Otherwise, she was nice. Dunno what's with Michigan and not taking straw or coffee creamer trash off the table, but it's everywhere. Wow!! Great spot for a special occasion breakfast. Brought my sister here for brunch on her birthday and everything was great!! Staff is super friendly and attentive, food was SOOO pretty and delicious, and everything is very clean / presentable. I love that the staff isn't cookie cutter, everyone has their own unique style making it feel very welcoming and personable. Fresh cut flowers on the tables made us smile! A tad pricey but definitely for good reason as far as presentation, atmosphere, and taste. We had the Blueberry Lemon Pancakes, Classic breakfast, Biscuits and Gravy, and took home the western omelet. Everything was packed with flavor and presentation, I really don't have any complaints. Their homemade jam is also top notch!! Even with them being super busy everything was timely and our server kept us updated about the wait. It got pretty warm in there because of the sun / how busy it was so bring a personal fan if you can't do heat! I would classify this as boujee on a budget 100%, amazing!! This is the second time going to this restaurant. I returned because it was pretty good the first time. This time, they were moderately busy, with three servers. The food was just OK (definitely not as good as the first time). My complaint is about Valentina. When she delivered the food to the table, my plate inadvertently went to an elderly gentleman in our party. He started eating the food immediately. When she brought the next few dishes, I realized I had received his food. I told her and asked for the potatoes I ordered, rather than the hashbrowns I received. Obviously, you could see that the older gentleman had already started eating from the plate of food. I also noticed that she had placed extra plates on the table. That seemed odd. When she came back around, I said that I was waiting for my potatoes, and Valentina gave me so much attitude as she started aggressively picking up straw wrappers from the table. She said "That is why I gave you those extra plates! So you could slide the potatoes from his plate and give him your hashbrowns." So she expected me to take the food from this man's plate that he had already started eating! I told her I wasn't going to eat from his plate while he was eating from it. She reluctantly went to the kitchen and came back with a small plate of potatoes. Mind you, this bill costs well over $65, for breakfast, and she was ultra cheap about giving me a small plate of potatoes - after SHE gave the dish to the wrong person. She expected me to eat from his plate! What a gross and greedy place. I will never go back!!! Edit to respond to owner: How is dropping off some plates on the table and expecting me to take food off of someone else's plate that he was already eating an authentic attempt to satisfy the customer? And then to give me attitude about it at the table when I asked about the potatoes. There is no excuse for an already pricey restaurant to be extremely greedy about an order mix-up that the server made. The elderly gentleman that she served my plate to did not realize that she had given him my plate. So I'm supposed to eat off of his plate due to her error? We are talking about a little side order of potatoes. Your placating response does not detract from the fact that your restaurant was being cheap about a small plate of potatoes. A restaurant should never ask a customer to take food off of another customer's plate that has already been eaten from!!! read more

Ordered Banana Foster's which was good however the bread was twice the thickness of Texas Toast and could have honestly been cut in half to make the same impact. Had the Florentine Benny as well , flavor was good but the mozzarella wasn't even remotely melted which made it chewy. Will try again after they are open a bit longer. read more

I didn't even know this place was there. I saw it on Facebook. I was heading out and was hungry. Saw it and pulled in. It was busy but it was a Sunday. I sat at the counter. My server was wonderful. My OG Benny was fantastic. I don't really care for hash browns but OMG theirs were great. It's bright and welcoming. They have a beautiful espresso machine. Made in house, a raspberry jam. Avocado toast was so salty that I cannot get the taste out of my mouth. At first I though it was spicy or maybe lemon juice. I think it was too much salt. Three hours later the taste is still in my mouth. I ate a quarter of it and paid $14. I will not return. read more
