Games night is a must! I saw how fun it was on their Instagram so I signed up for the next event which they held on their patio. The weather was perfect for the event. They had a nice set up, plenty of games, and food for purchase, lots of space to move about. I liked the privacy the fence covering provided for attendees. Since I came alone, I sat at a table with some ladies who were very friendly. We played Jenga, Uno, axe throwing, bean bag toss.. there were plenty of games to choose from. I was excited to see they had cookies to purchase so I ended up getting chocolate chip, oatmeal, lemon and strawberry. My favorite was the lemon cookie. I love the way they baked their cookies. They're "well done" but yet still soft and tasty. I can't wait to go back. Jeff was gracious enough to give me some cookies to go for my son. Thank you for such a wonderful event and the cookies. I had tasted the lemon zest sugar cookie a few days before at a Yelp  event and I decided to purchase another one of those. I also ordered a chocolate chip and a strawberry cookie. They were yummy and I recommend them all. Other flavors I noticed included double chocolate,  oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, shortbread, and Snicker Doodle. I noticed a record player and vinyl of some of the artists that I really love. So that was a sign for me to come back and participate in the fun activities they have at the bakery, such as game night. I'll definitely return, support, and share the good news about Good Cookies.

She's kept whole checks of wages and tips dated from July, all of August, & September. Here we are the end of October and I've yet to recover checks from April Anderson at Good Cakes & Bakes that she's owed since July. For breakfast, freshly bakes bagels and scones are sold, as well as freshly brewed coffee are served hot or cold. The bakery is at the ground level of a residential and commercial building. From Tuesdays to Fridays - store hours from 730am to 3 pm. On Saturdays, they close early at 12 noon. During Sundays and Mondays - no service. The only issue I had was the chocolate was covered in cocoa powder that was a bit messy. The bumpy cake brownie was the standout, I will be back for another.
