I wish I could've tried them all during this visit, but I'll definitely be back soon. Out of the flavors I tried, Cereal Milk and Sea Salt Butter Cake stood out to me. I ended up getting a single scoop of the Sea Salt Butter Cake. It reminded me of sea salt caramel with pound cake. The scooper was super sweet. She let us try a bunch of flavors and gave us time to think about what we wanted to order. There are seats inside to eat your ice cream. We had parked at parking structure in downtown about a 5 minute walk away, but one of my friends got lucky and found street parking right outside. Street parking is fairly limited though. I do love the location of this store, as its proximity in downtown makes it an easy stop after grabbing food in the area. I can't wait for my next visit!

But obviously it's specialty, and the portion size is pretty generous so overall well worth it. Well, I really like the dusting of a topping all over the surface, it definitely seems to take them a little bit of time to do and the line tends to build when it's being done. So my recommendation would be to consider other formats for adding a topping so that it's a little bit faster. But keep up the flavor and creaminess. I also love the little outdoor seating area. Definitely charming.

I love ice cream, so I could taste that the base was coconut. I actually initially thought I was given coconut instead of the sweet cream flavor. The Oreo is layered at the bottom of the cups which I appreciated. However, the size was a lot smaller than I expected for the price (regular size with Oreo came out to around $7.50). The service was quick. There are inside and outside tables. The store is a cute shop right off of Cass. Ultimately, I probably won't be back, but I like to see this is an option for those who are vegan in the area.

I can't imagine better foie gras, though by itself it seemed a bit plain. All the extras they added (like drops of a balsamic reduction, strawberry tapenade, and mint) truly set it off. The bread for the table, baked in house, was exquisite, and that's honestly what I want to eat again. We gambled on the wild mushroom tart - excellent mushrooms, the pastry was pretty good, but the truffle flavor is still off-putting. That's on us - everyone else likes truffle. I talked myself into the French beef wellington (filet mignon en croute), though the filet must have been rubbed with truffles before searing, which made me wish I hadn't spent $79 on it. My wife had the gnoicchi parisienne, which was good. The mashed potatoes with both of our entrees were as amazing as you would hope for something that was only half potato, the remainder being cream. Finally, we had the chocolate pot de creme. We really liked it for its texture, even though the chocolate flavor was vanishingly faint. We will need to return for the chocolate souffle - we couldn't stay out long enough for the 20-minute prep time on the souffle.

So disappointed in our experience at le supreme!!…read more So many people told us how much they loved it and multiple people recommended the BOEUF BOURGUIGNON so we were excited to spend our 5th anniversary here! We went on a Friday night with reservations which I'm glad we had. The decor was very nice, the acoustics were very bad. It was so loud! The BOEUF BOURGUIGNON is unfortunately only available on Sundays and you have to order this for two. My husband and I both decided on STEAK FRITES. It was VERY good but I asked for mine well done and I had to send it back twice because of how undercooked it was. When I ordered, I told the waiter that I needed to well done because I was pregnant and still had to send it back twice. When it finally came out well done, they had sliced my steak into bites and each bite was charred. Somehow it was still good but very disappointing as my husbands plate was empty and cleared by the time I received my meal. They did comp my meal and apologize which I appreciated but you would think an upscale restaurant would be able to cook a steak properly the first time. The wait staff was just ok, they seemed all over the place and confused. Our tables was not set when we'd were seating and the table beside us had to wait 5 minutes after their food arrived to receive silverware. Overall: Ambiance: 2/5 Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 I would not recommend or return. Just disappointed that this is how we spent an important evening :-(

The team working today were very welcoming and friendly. I chose a Pistachio Vanilla Latte and a Pistachio Cotton Cake. There were a couple other choices of toppings for the cake but as you can see, I was in a pistachio mood. The price is pretty high for these items but I wanted to treat myself. The cake is incredibly soft and pillowy but dense at the same time and the pistachio topping added to the overall flavor. The latte was excellent - you can really taste the pistachio flavor over the coffee - I just didn't prefer the bits of nuts that sank to the bottom. I highly recommend to try this out - something new and delicious that I'll need to revisit soon!

My wife's Turkish coffee was as strong as she expected, and so was my Diet Coke. The food came out fast enough to match our anticipation, but slow enough to make us a little anxious, and this, my friends, is the correct speed. The simit breakfast mezze came with very enjoyable sesame-coated bread rings (two of them!) and some small side dishes (five of them!): a labneh-type cheese dip, dark oily olives, white cheese with black sesame seeds, honey, and a rose jam - with actual roses. The cheese pide tasted, perfectly, of cheese! Extremely simple, on a thin, homemade, foldable crust. It was trying to be *just* cheese, and it succeeded - but definitely try it with the lemon and onion it comes with. Simply prepared, and simply delicious. In a city full of amazing food, Galata Sweets is easy to miss, but worth a visit.
