Tables are all full. Seated at the counter overlooking the kitchen. They have open seats at the bar as well. Julie is waiting on us. Quite something to watch the organized chaos of the kitchen. Ordered hot black coffee, jasmine green tea, the duck bop hash, upgrade to biscuit, Rueben omelet, English muffin and side of truffle mayo, 2 side chicken sausage, side house salad and side of chive cream cheese. $65.19 The duck was rather gamey, there was something in this dish that made it overly sweet about this dish that didn't sit well for me. Expected savory and maybe slightly spicy, it wasn't. I only ate a couple of bites and couldn't get over the gamey and sweetness of this dish. My hubby ended up eating the rest of it. Side salad was fine, lettuce and cucumbers were fresh. I did find a random stowaway chocolate chip at the bottom of my bowl that didn't belong. The chicken sausage is good, not dry and perfectly cooked. Their homemade biscuits are quite good, big, had a nice crunchy crust from the griddle. Even better with their house strawberry jam. They don't have any flavored creamers at all. The Reuben omelet was good, some kraut in it, not a lot of corn beef, but enough. The chive cream cheese is good. Service was good.

Updating my review to a 5. Service this time was great. Staff were nice and attentive. It was a busy Sunday morning but ambiance was nice. Clean. Next to hig end market. We got the chorizo hash and it was so good. Mexican street corn was what made the dish so flavorful. Potatoes were cooked nicely. I would get this again. I had the biscuit (not b pictured) and it was so good with jam (home-made). Also got the vanilla latte. It was so worth it. Zingermans coffee/beans. Wonderful vanilla flavor. Aesthetic. This place really is an affordable yet decadent brunch place. Would return

Salmon sandwich was pretty decent. I liked the dill sauce.

Went back to The Dime Store on a busy Sunday morning. Was extremely happy to see they changed all their table seating. Our table had a variety of things with the cheese steak Benny, Belgian waffles, the veggie Benny, and French toast. I think most people were very satisfied I had the mushroom, goat cheese and fried onion omelette with multi grain bread and home fried potatoes. It was very good. The staff was kind but they might have used a few more hands on a busy morning. Nevertheless, I'm upgrading my rating because things went well and the seats were much more welcoming.

My friend and I decided to grab brunch at Dime Store yesterday morning, and fortunately we were seated immediately at around 11:30 AM. It was quite busy, but our server brought us water and took our orders fairly quickly. However, we didn't get our food until 12:15 PM, and during this time, the server barely checked in. After finishing, we had to flag her down to close the bill. CHEESESTEAK BENNY - 17 Each order comes with a side of house breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, or side salad. I chose the potatoes, and that turned out to be a mistake. They were stale and hard to eat, almost as if they had been made earlier and left forgotten. The first cheesesteak benny I tried was pretty tasty -- the combination of cheesesteak, white cheddar, poached egg, and hollandaise sauce created hearty and rich bites. However, I wasn't sure if it was just because I was hungry after waiting so long for my food. The second benny was much blander compared to the first. The English muffin was soggy, even though I finished my platter within 12 minutes, so the sogginess is not due to slow eating. My friend got the SPICY CUBAN RICE BOWL, which she thought was just OK. Overall, the food was pretty mediocre, and the service was slow and inattentive. We had high hopes for Dime Store but left a bit disappointed.

We had a lovely experience from making an online reservation to being greeted when we came in and left. Our server was very friendly. We both had the pimento burger, super juicy on a toasted bun , I had the tomato bisque soup which was out of this world Pretty interior and a fun open vibe.

I had the original Dime Store on my list for a while, but never managed to get out there. Then this new location opened up and I knew I had to give it a go. It's a cute place that's attached to the market next door. The ceilings are nice and high, but it's not overwhelmingly noisy inside. The servers were really friendly and got us a seat right away. The menus have a good selection without being overwhelming, and there are specials as well. While we were waiting for our food (which came out quick), Mitchell, one of the owners came over and offered us a cinnamon roll that they made that morning "for funsies". That was an awesome interaction, and he came over a few other times to check on us. The food came out, and it was awesome. My Benny was amazingly tasty, and I'd definitely get it again. My only quibble was that the bottom of the English muffin was a little over-toasted, but that was really minor. My daughter was really impressed by the malted waffle, it was nice and brown and crispy. The extra strawberries were ripe and delicious. We will definitely be back to Dime Store, it's a home run for brunch!

A little slice of Detroit in Rochester Hills!! This location is larger than the Detroit location & is located partially inside the grocery store. The upstairs seating overlooks the store. I loved the eggs Benedict & was able to substitute bacon & add avocado. My grandma was so happy that they had a short stack on the menu so she wasn't overwhelmed with too many pancakes lol. My mom really raved about the scallion cream cheese on her salmon Benny.

Was so excited to hear they opened this location! And glad I finally got a chance to try it. The Detroit location always has a minimum 1.5 hour wait for Sunday brunch, but here we walked in 15 minutes before closing and were seated immediately, and all staff were extremely kind and accommodating even though they were closing soon. We ordered the Spicy Korean Fries, Cold-Smoked Salmon Benny, and Mexican Street Corn Hash. We added shredded "fiesta" chicken to the Mexican Street Corn Hash and it was absolutely delicious; it was hard to choose, but it was our favorite dish of the three. Have been many times to the Detroit location, but this spot is definitely my new favorite. Can't wait to go back

Corn Beef Hash with Biscuit - 8.2/10

The place has a nice feel but kind of pricey along with $4 coffee that is not even good. Don't mind the higher price if the food is great but it's just ok... I had the corn beef hash and the presentation was great but carrots and brussel sprouts?? The coffee is $4 and it wasn't really hot and had a sour aftertaste. My wife had the Mushroom Goat Cheese omelette and that was actually pretty good but again not great but ok for $15. The corn beef hash at $18 needs to do better.

Dime store is a lovely brunch spot with some incredible flavors in each dish. We tried the rhubarb pancakes and I had the Mexican street corn hash which I would order over and over again in the future! Definitely a great location and has another spot in Detroit as well!

Yum! The Dime Store is a excellent brunch spot. The rhubarb and ricotta pancakes were a stand out. They weren't too sweet but the flavors worked well together. Eggs benedict were good as well. Service was quick. Its a bit loud in there, the acoustics aren't great but still a solid spot!

Let me start with thanking Paul for his awesome service! The wait was minimal to get a table for Sunday brunch. This location has two levels. Once you go up the stairs to the second floor you are overlooking Papa Joe's Market. This would be ideal for a larger party gathering. We dined on the first floor where it was a little loud which is partially because of the high ceiling and a full house of brunchers. My sorority sister and I were both at this location for the first time so we opted for two of the chef's specials. We love to eat! I settled on the Spinach Artichoke Omelette with potatoes and multi-grain toast. It was delicious. I must say I had a succulent meal. My sister tried the Apple Pancakes and a side of potatoes. Thumbs up!

We visited the new Rochester location after we heard about it on social media. It's located in the old Grand Traverse Pie Co space at Rochester Road and Tienken. It was easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the lot. The restaurant is very open with high ceilings so the noise level seems somewhat high. It was crowded and there was a wait for a table so we opted to sit at the bar where there were plenty of seats. The staff is super friendly and we're quick to serve us coffee and water. I like having a sweet item with eggs and bacon but they have a very limited number of sweet items on the menu. We ordered the spinach artichoke omelette and the honey peach French toast - both were specials. The omelette was very good - not overly stuffed so you could taste the egg. It came with hash browns (the small square kind) which were cooked perfectly. It also came with a choice of bread so I got an English Muffin that came toasted. The portions are large so I didn't finish it all but I didn't have a heavy feeling in my stomach either - it was a "good" full. My husband had the French toast and it was really good but a bit heavy on the whipped cream on top. I like that there are more new brunch places popping up in the area creating more options but we had a great meal and enjoyed the ambience so we'll return.

Well, because our congregation had a small list of approved caterers, and my daughter wanted one thing for the big celebration: a chocolate fountain. As luck would have it, The Moveable Feast has a chocolate fountain front and center on its website, so they were the obvious choice. The only other thing the Bat Mitzvah Girl wanted was bagels and cream cheese, which is her favorite food and pretty much impossible to mess up. Especially when the caterer agrees to source the bagels from Zingerman's Bakehouse. But one needs more for a luncheon than just bagels, cream cheese, and a chocolate fountain. That is where Misty Rose entered the picture. She got what we were going for and helped to round out the rest of the menu. I was told we had to get the whitefish as it was a signature dish of the company, and that was a great call. The pastrami spiced smoked salmon was tasty too. Having grilled vegetables was a fantastic idea as well. If I were to have TMF cater another event I might skip the red pepper hummus, the beet and quinoa salad, and the frittata. I make all of these things at home on the regular, and not to brag, but mine are better. However, those each served a role in the buffet, which on the whole was well received. Where The Moveable Feast shined brightest was its staff. They were extraordinary! Misty for both her flexibility and her patience in dealing with a father who was planning an event at the earliest stages of Omicron. Misty also directed me to A1 Rentals and helped to come up with several floor plans to make a 20' x 40' tent feel like a celebratory space. Plus the event staff were simply heroic, setting up the tent while I was at the ceremony and having everything ready by the time our guests arrived. Everyone who braved traveling to Michigan in December amidst a growing pandemic had a great time. The bartender roaming around pushing mimosas certainly helped. As did the tent heaters, which TMF helped to get back online when one wasn't working. They called up the rental company and made sure A1 brought over a new one. Plus the TMF crew even helped to spread out some straw when the lawn got sloppy thanks to the unexpected ice storm. If you've read down this far, you might be asking yourself, "So why only four stars?" Well, if you recall, the critical components of this event were a chocolate fountain, bagels, and cream cheese. The chocolate fountain was everything the guest of honor had hoped for... and maybe more. But somehow, the caterer forgot to bring the cream cheese. And a bagel without cream cheese is like a hug without the squeeze. I know that's not actually how the line goes. Still... it's close. My personal belief is that a business is best defined by what happens when something goes wrong. In this case, their first offer was to simply not charge me for the food they didn't bring. That was not terribly satisfying. Ultimately, the resolution was a sum that was roughly equivalent to the mimosas which helped make our adult guests happy despite the omission. I appreciated the gesture, but would have preferred an outcome that did not feel as transactional. You know, like a tray of sweets, or an "I'm sorry" cake. I know I'm weird about this, but money feels kinda dirty. Although at some point it's best to just take the offer and move on. Which is exactly what I did. Would I work with The Moveable Feast again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them to anyone who asks? You bet. Would they work with me again? I certainly hope so. We had a tremendous amount of leftovers, which included a few pounds of smoked salmon and multiple pints of whitefish. We were even able to salvage some of the ambrosial nectar from the chocolate fountain. More importantly, thanks to TMF we were able to pull off a successful event in the face of some abysmal conditions. I mean... on top of everything a last minute ice storm? And despite being down a person, they did it all with a smile. Bravo!

First time I used them they did sandwiches which were full sandwiches, I had no reason to believe that this was going to cost more money and that a cocktail sandwich for lunch did not mean a full sandwich but the finest of sandwiches I have ever seen. They were also supposed to have brie on one of the sandwichs and it had absolutely no Brie! There food signs were bigger than the sandwiches. I will never ever hire them again. Buyer beware with this group. I see all of these posts that say they did a great job and I am wondering, did they run out of time for our event - what the heck happened? Just don't do it. They are about $9 or more a piece, depends on what items are on the skewers. $9 per cup was a little more than we're looking for and not quite the food content we were wanting either at that price either. Not looking for any hummus at all, want to keep it meat and cheese and maybe grapes or fruits.
