I came in for the Monte Cristo, was very disappointed because the ham they used still had the rind on it. The cheese was not melted at all. Funny because they deep fry it. My husband had a patty melt that was way overdone and the bread was burnt. Tater tots and fried were good and the what's supposed to be raspberry jam served with the Monte Cristo was ok but tasted like juice with some kind of fruit. We both order the perch sandwich expecting a mild tasting fresh lake perch, after 1 bite the taste made me sick to my stomach, after asking server she claims this is European lake perch, which is actually ocean perch which is a terrible fishy taste. Why have I driven by this fantastic eatery so many times without stopping! This will be our new go to for eating out. My mom, sister and I wanted to have a nice brunch together and decided to stop here as it is near where we both live. The inside was very inviting with plenty of booths and tables, sparkling clean environment and cute décor. There was a great variety to select from on the menu. I settled on a standard cheeseburger with an upgrade to sweet potato fries. My sister had a double cheeseburger with a cup of soup and mom had chicken tenders with a salad and soup. Our burgers were juicy and fresh. The buns were soft and delicious. The salad was crisp and fresh. The soups were to die for! The best tomato soup I ever tasted...thanks mom for letting me try it. Our server was knowledgeable, efficient and and very kind. The prices are fair. There is plenty of parking spaces. The outside doesn't scream, this place is great but once you step inside you will not be disappointed. *********UPDATE: WARNING PRICING misleading ********---- Mom and I went there again (5.30.25) for brunch. I was surprised when we received our bill as my $13.00 biscuit/gravy/egg plate cost $14.30 and mom's 1/2 banana split waffle, for $11.00 ended up being billed at $12.30 I asked why the misbilling and they said it was because the eggs cost so much. OK, note to self NEVER order an egg related plate from them again! Eggs have gone down in prices. I said OK for my order that came with eggs but what about the increase in mom's waffle with ice cream and they said it was because eggs were used to make the waffle batter - I just said..."Oh...My...God" - I'll keep this review at 5 stars as, so far, the food is very good but this is major B.S. Savanna wow...you win the prize for being the most vapid, rude, snarky server we have ever had the misfortune of running into. The weird mean girl vibe suits you though. And I predict that karma will be paying you a visit soon. 7/25/26 about 3:30pm. The place was empty. We know why now. We were seated by one dark haired gal. And then we waited. Savanna walked by our booth looked at us, pretended to wipe tables nobody had sat at. Again, the place had one other occupied table of two dudes who were done eating and just sitting there. It was us and them. She wasn't slammed by any means. She walked by no less than 5 times, doing basically nothing. She strangely walking by with a dirty towel in her hand looked over and kept walking? I am not kidding. It was super strange. We didn't even know she was our server till we got up to leave. She knew we wanted to order, yet she never even said "hi" as she walked by? It was the weirdest behavior- is she on drugs? To the owner: you have the worst people representing you. Savana is driving away potential new and future customers. If this doesn't bother you or she invents some excuse and gaslights you, take a look at the video footage. Savanna is your gal if you enjoy a simpering, contemptuous smile, that telegraphed her distain for you and her job. July 2026 ~ Menu was changed, very disappointing. Asked for a waffle and it was drenched in berry compote that was Over spiced. To boot, asked hostess for a "to-go" cup for iced tea I had not had a chance to drink and was told to see the counter. I think they are paying her but, with that response, maybe not. Clean feeling and looking establishment. Nice service. We've been there once before, and I recall liking the chicken tenders, but I don't remember what else stood out. This time I took my mom because we were craving broasted chicken and saw it on the menu. We tried their French onion soup, which was awesome, and their Reuben, which we loved. We paid for the premium side of mac & cheese and really liked that it had a lot of flavor. The french fries were good. Unfortunately, the broasted chicken did not seem like broasted chicken and the breast was extremely dry. I should've gotten the chicken tenders which I know to be good. I've heard of the Copper Kettle for some time, but I never knew where it was before. When I decided to navigate there, I figured out why: it's hard to find. It's located in a strip mall that starts on Hall Road, but this part is set back several hundred feet, so you'd never notice it. Thank you, navigator app. The decor is inviting, like a country restaurant. I love breakfast, and I probably would have been okay with a standard omelet. But, this is so much more than a run-of-the-mill breakfast place. Take your time looking through the menu: there are so many great ways to go. Don't care for breakfast? My wife didn't, so she got a wonderful Strawberry Almondo salad, with chargrilled chicken, strawberries, almonds, and feta cheese. She reluctantly shared one bite before she ate every scrap. There are 19 different sandwiches and melts on the menu, from pulled pork to a gyro to grilled cheese, plus several different kinds of burgers. They have entrées, like Atlantic salmon, and even a stirfry. Are you sure this is a brunch place? Oh, yeah. They definitely are. There are all the staples for those who like a traditional breakfast. My daughter got a massive ham and cheese omelet, with fries (since you get a choice of potato). The fries were nice and crispy. But, since you get a choice of potato here, do yourself a favor and get the hash browns. The hash browns are a perfect golden color, but I have seen that before. Other places serve up hashbrowns that look great, but they end up being soggy or dried up. Here, the chef somehow managed to make it crispy on the surface, just the right consistency underneath, and not greasy at all. The seasoning is settled, but it tasted so good that I didn't need to add ketchup, which is what I normally do. These are the perfect hashbrowns. I spent so much time talking about the hashbrowns that you might think the main dish was nothing special. Not at all. There are six different creative spins on an Eggs Benedict here, including brisket or smoked salmon instead of ham. I went for the crab cake, which had a generous amount of lump crab, and two English muffin halves with a perfectly fried egg on top. It was so good that I savored every bite. And, with the flawless hashbrowns to go with it, my brunch took a while to finish. The only minor downside here is that there is no alcohol on the menu. I would've loved to have a bloody Mary with my amazing breakfast. But, when the food is this good, I don't mind. The service was also excellent. We were told about one of the specials of the day when we sat down: a fried calamari starter. Calamari at a brunch place? after seeing the rest of the amazing offerings here, I am no longer surprised. This is my new favorite brunch spot. read more

I made reservations for six on Mother's Day (today) six days prior as I knew they would be busy. Reservation made for 12:00 pm. The Friday before Mother's Day I called and confirmed the reservation - all good. Showed up today by 12:00 pm and no table available. They said 15 to 20 minute wait. Many people waiting on list and more people walking in (no reservations). 45 minutes later and still no table available. However, every other group that showed up without reservations had been seated. Apparently they didn't think to put two tables together to seat us as it looked like they were waiting for a larger table to clear. A couple of minutes before 1:00 pm I received a call from the restaurant (assuming they had a table ready) and by then we had already left to find somewhere else to eat. The call was filtered as the number was unknown and the only thing that was left on voicemail was "hello, hello ". If you're not going to honor a reservation time then you shouldn't offer reservations. Had that been the case I would have found somewhere else to eat ahead of time. Thanks for putting a damper on Mother's Day. First impressions speak for themselves. I won't be back. read more

I wanted to like it. The place a decent vibe to it and it was clean. The menu at a glance tried hard to offer everything, that is usually a sign that nothing is really done well. Unfortunately that rang true. I ordered a Denver Omelette, Redskin potatoes and Rye Toast. The Omelette was cooked decently nothing special a bit lacking with the filler. The toast was smeared with some yellow substance im going to assume "Grill on" or some other flat top lubricant that doesn't melt on toast EVER. Melt some butter, it takes 2 minutes in the microwave. The "Housemade Jam" was pretty good and salvaged the neon yellow goop on my toast. The Redskin potatoes might have been pretty good when they were fresh which I'm guessing was a day or two prior? They were nicely seasoned however some were slightly burned on one side, they were soft and sort of mushy like they'd been reheated in the microwave. I think I ate like 4 pieces and left the rest. The waitress was sweet but kinda not really there. Didn't ask how anything was, didn't inquire why I never touched the potatoes. And if being located just off Hall road on a Wednesday night around 7pm and your spot is nearly empty is any indication of needing to focus on the details is glaringly obvious. May give it one more shot. Not entirely sure. It really is hard to screw up potatoes and eggs. read more

A great little restaurant close to home that I can stop in quickly for breakfast. I usually order the Kettle #1 which fills me perfectly but I am aching at a chance try their Nashville Benedict. I just haven't had a chance to swing on by there again yet. Inside is very lovely, modern and very clean. Brightly lit. The staff has always been wonderful every time I've been in. I honestly love coming here for a nice meal and since I'm not really dieting anymore, I can't wait try some of their more decadent offerings: Banana Split Waffle (WHAAAT?) Tried this place today based on the Yelp reviews. It's a large restaurant, clean, BIG menu with specials. Breakfast is served all day. Our server was great, and the food was amazing. I had the brisket Benny, delicious and the red potatoes were out of this world. My mom had an omelette, she loved it and they had homemade jam for the bread. Found this little gem on yelp - think family style restaurant with amazing food! Started with the cheese bombs - so good and the marinara sauce was warm and delicious. The marinara sauce was so good I'd order anything they have with it. Pecan chicken with vegetable quinoa and fresh green beans. So much flavor we will get it again! We love Copper Kettle! Although they have great food, being there for breakfast is our favorite, we end up leaving with more than just full bellies...when you're there, you're family! Their service staff is always cheery and kind and I've never had my drink lower than half filled as they are quick to top them off. Other than yummy food and great environment, Mary Ellen is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. She is the warmest and most welcoming person they have! She treats us like family and fills our souls with warmth and love. My son lovingly refers to her as his "Aunt". Had a nice breakfast this morning with my wife. We ordered the Awesome Oatmeal and the Nashville Benny. See photos. Karrie was all over it on keeping the coffee cups full. My wife and I double dosed my coffee with sweetener by mistake and Jordan fixed me up! My poached eggs were done medium (perfect) but my wife's were done hard . Her oatmeal was done well, but she forgot to tell them no brown sugar so it was too sweet for her to finish. We don't know if when it's made it's already mixed in. Others might like it that way. We tend to go easy on sugar. Coffee is pretty good too. The cups need to be bleached out. See pic. The hash browns were thin and veneer like and made the whole presentation on the plate looked sloppy. The meal itself was made really good with the hollandaise sauce mixing with the smoky sauce. I had been meaning to try this place for a while now and finally got the opportunity. I should have come in sooner because this place is great! There are many choices on both the breakfast and lunch/dinner sections of the menu, but I went with the advice of other Yelp reviews and ordered the fish & chips. This was an excellent choice! It was really delicious. I'm not sure what they season their batter with but it's awesome! The flavor was great and it was cooked perfectly. Whenever I try a new restaurant I always have to judge the chicken noodle soup. Theirs is really good! It doesn't have an overpowering onion flavor that I find a lot of soups do, and the noodles were also great, more on the thicker side. The service was also phenomenal. Jorden was our server and he couldn't have been better. Super friendly, fast and efficient. There's several other things I want to try on the menu so I'll definitely be back. Well done! I'm always up for something new, and this time was no different. After planning a lunch with a fellow Yelper, we had the darndest time finding a place that was open at noon. Due to the current staffing shortages and conditions, most places have adjusted their hours and are opening much later in the day than normal. So, after much discussion, we finally found the Copper Kettle. Walking in, it has plenty of seating and isn't to badly decorated. While not the fanciest place in town, it is far from the worst either. They have a cool wall that matched their menu, which we both though was super cool! The menu itself is vast, and the prices here are pretty darn reasonable. I can't remember what Abigail got, but I went with the burger and sweet potato fries. We both got pops and our server was fabulous. Food came out quick and everything seemed to be on point. We were able to enjoy ourselves here and have some awesome conversations! It did get a bit cold from the windows, so there's that. Aside from that issue, we enjoyed our time and food here. I think my meal with everything was $15. Not bad! I was able to finish most of my food and would return in the future. read more

The city needs to send the Health Inspector here. Ate lunch there today. It was busy so we waited for a table and I watched them buss tables. I watched them clean two tables. There silverware is served loose on a napkin not rolled. I watched the bussees leave sets of silverware that "seemed" clean on the table for the next guest. Once something is served to a table it should never be reused. Then when they brought me my sandwich the plate had a huge (couple inches) very clear smear of brown food/grease. When I said something to the waiter he tried to talk me into it being something that I shouldn't worry about. Then he offered to put the same sandwich on a fresh plate. I don't want a sandwich that has already been on a dirty plate. I wanted to ask for a manager but did not want to upset the person I was with. I will never be going here again. read more

They close at 8pm on a Friday night, seems a bit early for a weekend. Arrived with enough time to eat, hopefully. We ordered a large fresh squeezed OJ, a chicken strip pita, Greek salad and the New Yorker with Turkey sandwich and a side of jalapeño corn bread. Tammy is waiting on us. The corn bread is a bit dry, not much jalapeño flavoring bits in our piece. The Greek salad isn't bad, nice blend of greens. We received some bread sticks, they reminded us of the OG sticks some, but they are hard, not carb worthy. First New Yorker sandwich was with beef, got a Turkey New Yorker a short bit later. It's okay, wasn't outstanding. The thousand dressing doesn't have much flavor and the kraut is too skimpy for this sandwich to me. The chicken strip pita was so-so, breading was a bit heavy too. The kettle chips were pretty good. The onion ring batter is too thick and grainy, panko like, wasn't my thing. Their spicy aioli was tasty at least. The food all comes out quickly here. We met here for breakfast because he unexpectedly got the day off. I love nice surprises! We drank 10 cups of coffee each just sitting and chatting and happy to get to spend time together. We both had pretty boring breakfasts. We are trying to get some of this excess weight off. We have been doing a lot of eating and drinking this summer and holy smokes it's starting to add up! We both ordered basic scrambled eggs and bacon. No toast no potatoes. Boring. Hard to really comment on the food when you can't really screw up scrambled eggs and bacon haha. He's been here before and liked the food so I'll take his word on it. The service was great though. Very friendly, fast, and efficient! They just kept refilling our coffee and telling us to take our time. So we did. Sometimes days like this create the best memories. :) read more

These guys used to be really good but they have gone vastly downhill over the last say 6 months. We had been regulars coming almost every weekend but I think we are done after this morning. This morning, first off they weren't that busy when we arrived, maybe 6 other tables. Got busy after we got here but we already had our order in. It took 30 minutes to get our breakfast for 3 people. There was a good 20 minutes where not a single dish came out of the kitchen. When we did get our food, it was warmish, and not as good as it used to be. The sausage gravy had slices of link sausage in it, and it tasted like turkey sausage, not even regular sausage, and it didn't used to have sliced sausage in it it had chunks of ground sausage. The gravy tasted like crap too. We asked the waitress if they changed it, she asked and the kitchen said no, but she also didn't offer to do anything to correct the problem. Our waitress, which this place seems to have a high turnover of wait staff, kept refilling our coffee without asking, messing up the mix of creamer and sugar, plus she kept pouring it from a high height, making it splash into our food. No apologies for it or attempt to clean it up, nothing. The food quality has drastically gone downhill. We are unfortunately done with this place. read more
