    Food bill

My daughter and I went yesterday for Mother's Day brunch. It was absolutely disappointing. The waiter was so so, I asked him to run a keno ticket and he took the slip and $20 and he never brought me the ticket. after about 5 minutes I looked over at the bar where they run the tickets and there was a ticket in a cup just sitting there. it was a $20 ticket so just assumed it was mine and I got up and went and got it, he never said anything to be about it. Now let's talk about the food. it was the worst buffet I have ever been to. they had hardly any silverware available, the salad consisted of lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cucumber. water downed ranch. they had pasta dish, chicken dish, and fried fish pieces. No serving utensils, had a person cutting prime rib, if you could catch him there. They also had California blend veggies and I rea like that but they messed that up too. The, well everything was cold and salt and pepper did nothing to help the taste. Then came the bill, well let me tell you what I tried to eat. a slice of prime rib, California blend veggies and a salad that I had to go all around the buffet to find some cheese, broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower. The prime rib was over cooked no cups for the au ju sauce and that too was cold. needless to say I didn't eat the meat or the veggies and just had the only thing with taste, my salad. can't mess that up, unless you get thinned out ranch dressing which is what I got. Back to the bill, the waiter forgot to mention the price of said buffet, ready for this, $47.99/person. I about fell out, had he told me the price I would have passed and ordered off the regular menu. I in no way had $48 worth of food. I don't think we had $48 between the two of us. my bill was $121.00. I think I would have been happier had we went to McDonald's. if this restaurant really was a good place they would refund me my money. service and food was awful. NEVER AGAIN.

Decorated for the holidays. Cute signature holidays drinks. Food heavily fried. Service good.

The perfect fish taco: seriously, better than ones I've had in Mexico.

I hate that I'm starting this review, trying to resolve a crisis point of value in dining. For a number of reasons, prices have started to climb recently. And, for places that weren't known for being cheap, it's an eye-opener. My wife and I decided to get drinks when we got home after seeing what we'd be paying for food. $20 for a lobster roll sounds like a good price, until you realize the roll is the size of a hotdog bun. I really wish I hadn't started this way, but it's unavoidable. This is listed as a $$ price restaurant, but it's really closer to a $$$ restaurant now. But, back to my question of value, what you get is uniformly excellent. My Nashville chicken sandwich was a decent size, and painfully, authentically hot. The accompanying fries are perfectly crispy. My wife's salmon Florentine was flawless, and her mom's Rueben was rock solid. The price point is slightly out of what I would want to do regularly. But, this also clarified what's important to me. Given a choice, I would overpay a bit for quality. Also, service and creativity in the menu are always top-notch. If you know what this will cost going in, I'm sure you will enjoy your experience here.

Gave this place a try and probably won't be coming back. The interior is very nice and has a nice ambiance. Sat at the bar and the service was good, friendly service. We got the Crab Saganaki for an appetizer, the crab meat and the flavor of the hot cheese do not work at all, I would advise to not order this. My friend got the clam chowder which was terrible, like a mix between elmers glue and flour. No flavor, terrible texture. I got the beer battered fish and chips, the fish was good and looked like a house made tarter sauce, was nice. Came with cole slaw which was very dry and very bland. The fish and tarter were the only real things good about our experience here. Not much of a reason to come back.

Picked Terri's as my birthday dinner spot for my big 50th. It just happens to be in October during their Crabby sweetest day event!!! so many crab inspired items on the menu. It was hard to choose. Crab legs were delicious and cooked perfectly. Easy to crack and great flavor. We also ordered the crabcake appetizer that was equally delicious. Bonus was the free chocolate brownie sundae for my birthday.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday. Group of 4, sat right away and server was quick to give us menus and take our drink order - 3 of us had the mimosa flight and 1 water. We chatted a bit before ordering but the server checked in on us frequently. We ordered a waffle with bacon, a basic egg, hash brown, bacon, toast combo, a veggie omelet and the cornbread w/ chorizo gravy. 3 meals came out quick, mine took a bit longer like they were almost done eating before mine came out longer. Then when it came out, the plate was hotter than the cornbread and gravy. I asked for it to be heated in the microwave because I was hungry and didn't want to wait for them to remake it. Manager comped my meal and the table got free shots. Food came back out hot and it was good.

Terry's Terrace has quickly become a family favorite! The seafood and everything else on their menu are absolutely spectacular. We've never had an unpleasant experience here--ever. During our most recent visit, we tried the crab cakes, crabby chicken tacos, and the fish and chips with beer batter, and every single dish was tremendously delicious. The flavors were spot-on, and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations yet again. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and a consistently great dining experience. We'll definitely be visiting again soon and have already been recommending Terry's Terrace to all of our friends. This place is a true gem! Our server kept us updated on the status of our food because they were very busy. She also made sure our drinks were always topped off. Great service always adds to a positive experience.

Mary was an outstanding server, she went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I had a wonderful dinner, even after we had to send our food back the first time. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 Group size: 2 Wait time: No wait

The Hangover Burger on pretzel bun with fries.

Price, setting, service and food were amazing. My work family and I discovered this place on searches and variety of our appetites needed to meet and this place hit it all. Cozy environment and the staff, Holly, was very attentive and helpful with our selections. The Hangover burger with the pretzel bun was a great decision. Hardy bun to soak up the fried egg, bacon and barbecue so that very little flavor spilled over onto the plate Highly recommend for those looking for a place to have many options with some very good prices observed in the area.

He helped me figure out how much food I needed to feed my guests. I ended up going with a cookout-style menu. He made great suggestions, like replacing regular size burgers with sliders to appeal to adults and kids, and they could get a taste of everything else that I was serving. The sliders, toppings, buns, and chicken breasts were arranged so beautifully that I put away my serving platters and set out the takeout trays. The food was delicious and a lot of my guests commented on how nice everything looked and how good the food tasted. The price was very fair and I didn't have to cook or clean much. Pasta and salad sides also were fair priced. All the proteins were gluten-free, dairy, free, and nut free. I will make a note, we didn't discuss temperature of the burgers so this was my fault, and I am only stating so that anyone else who orders makes sure to add that to conversation. the sliders were pink inside. I will order them well done next time, no pink, for the sake of them being in a warmer for the duration of the party and keeping leftovers for the next day. The leftover chicken and sliders were just as good the next day.

Lasagna 4stars It had been many years since I had dined here. It is kind of in a corner of my area we just don't get to for some reason. One night we couldn't decide where we wanted to dine and we all said hey let's go to Luigi's. Our first visit was amazing when it came to the fettuccine Alfredo with cauliflower noodles. The Alfredo sauce was absolutely delicious and tasty. The bread basket was amazing with little homemade bread rolls. The spaghetti with meat sauce and meatball was just disappointing and uneventful . More and more we are finding many of the Italian restaurants we go to have spaghetti and meat sauce that is just not what it used to be. It didn't have any garlic flavor, was very heavy tomato based VERY acidic and the meatball was again just OK. Lasagna was delicious. I asked to add Alfredo sauce on top ,one of my favorite things to do when it comes to lasagna. We returned for a birthday dinner probably just four or five weeks later. Basically we all ordered the same items except for the lasagna. I went for the pizza which was very very very good. The Alfredo with gluten-free noodles were not very good this time. There was so much parsley in it. All you could taste was a dry green flavor, it did not have a great Parmesan flavor, and there was no garlic that we could taste. The chicken was OK. The spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs I can only explain as being subpar. This time it did taste like tomato paste diluted with tomato sauce, and it was actually the same thickness and flavor of the minestrone soup with very Little meat . The meatball again was just OK. We could pour the liquid sauce off of the plate. Noodles appeared to be drained, it just seemed like the sauce was extremely thin with minimal meat and just minimal flavor. Really not sure if we would return. Inside is a little dated, however well maintained and clean. Our first time dining here we had great service. This second visit, again our server was subpar. When they serve pizza, they put a piece on your plate and serve that to you and then bring the whole pizza to the table. The waitress asked if we wanted Romano cheese on on the food and I said sure. She failed to put Romano cheese on the piece of pizza she herself served to me on a plate. I did not say anything ,and it could have been Me but the two people at the table felt the same way I did, our server just didn't seem invested in our dining experience. We did let our server know about our disappointment with the spaghetti and Alfredo dish. A manager never came to speak with us, they never offered to take anything off of the bill considering my son didn't even eat his spaghetti with meat sauce(where was the meat actually there was not much that could be located). And , the waitress could see how much parsley was in the fettuccine Alfredo. She did ask if they could remake our meals, but we are not very comfortable with sending our meals back to be remade. Removing the spaghetti with meat sauce would've truly been an appropriate move. We did not expect that two whole meals would be removed from the bill being my partner was so hungry he went ahead and ate his birthday dinner ,fettuccine Alfredo.

There's also no room for expansion, so if they ever decide to add new machines, they'll have to rotate out some old ones. It's also very awkward to be served food and drinks here... being surrounded by complete strangers when I'm trying to enjoy lunch is a bit weird. The cabs they do have are mostly quality titles (NBA Jam, WWF Wrestlemania, Street Fighter 2, NFL Blitz etc...) and there are a four or five pinball machines. Most of the cabs seemed to be in OK shape, but the Terminator 2, Street Fighter and NBA Jam cabs weren't registering each quarter as a credit, and on top of that, when NBA Jam did finally accept my $2.00 donation, the shoot button on the player one side wasn't functional, so it was a total waste. The waitstaff wasn't helpful; I understand that they probably don't know how to fix the machines, but they also didn't help by offering a refund. Other than that, the beer at Terry's Terrace is way overpriced... and I mean by $2.00 a pour in most cases, and the food is mediocre at best. I was hoping to have an enjoyable early afternoon, reliving the past by playing some good arcade games, but I blew through $5 quicker in mere minutes because the machines I wanted to play registered every third quarter as a credit. I can deal with inflated beer prices, but please, get a tech in there to maintain your equipment. What good is a beercade when you can't even enjoy the games?
