Sad to write this review as I've frequented this Einstein throughout my time in high school and it's my dad favorite place to get bagels even after all these years. Went today and the short girl with the overlong nails at the register was SO rude and curt, impatient for no reason and they weren't even that busy. Made me sad as I know my dad is a regular. Food is what you'd expect from a chain bagel place. Nothing to write home about. read more

We ordered a sandwich from the Auburn Road store on the mobile app, and paid for it using a credit card. By the time we arrived to pick up our order, it was after 2 PM, and the store was closed. Why would any store closed at 2 PM? Ignoring that idiocy, we came back when we could at 10:45 AM the next day, only to be told that no one had picked it up by 5 AM, so the sandwich was discarded. When we complained to the manager, she rudely said that there was nothing they could do. What?! Five stars for a bagel chain? Yes. I love their pretzel bagel! The Einsteins in my area stop selling salt bagels and replaced them with these. They are much better: softer, and not overly loaded with salt. I love salt bagels, but these... they melt my heart just like the salt on the roads on a snowy night. I was surprised to see this location had salt bagels; they are not listed on the company's website. Also another reason for the five stars. The Heavenly Chocolate Chip cookie is just that. OMG! I love bagels and don't get to eat them enough. I go to this Einstein's for a variety of different reasons, but I love the selection of bagels and the fast wifi. The line can be confusing, and I think they have it backwards. When you walk in, you think that you are getting in line, but your actually at the pickup counter. Anyways, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the bagels are pretty good. Cream cheese is as well. They offer lunch items here, but I have yet to try them. The coffee here is by Caribou, which I LOVE. Best coffee around. They also have a selection of juices but they tend to be a bit pricey in my opinion. I like coming here from time to time, and will return in the future. read more

I love Einstein Bros, the location off Big Beaver used to be our go to but when we moved this location is easier for us to get to. It was a busy Sunday morning, but really my gripe is with the layout and the coffee bar. When we got there, it really was standing room only so people were having to move out of the way to get coffee. It was a bit of a mess everywhere so it was kind of frustrating. The food was the same quality, but the space isn't quite as big as the location we're used to going to. There was no creamer, and the one sitting out felt slightly warm to the touch so I didn't use it. I can say it's because it was busy that maybe I wasn't feeling the vibe of the place, but I do love the food here, and the employees were friendly! read more

Stopped by for a quick breakfast, I wanted the cheese bagel but they were out of it. So I asked the employee if the Mac and cheese bagel is good. She said it was so I got that, toasted with cream cheese. I got the bagel and it was not that good...the Mac and cheese was still cold too. Horrible! Girl working the register had nothing but attitude for me and every other customer that walked in. I work in customer service myself and have never had such a bad experience ordering BAGELS! I felt horrible for the pregnant woman that ordered after us as the girl asked the woman if she was "done ordering yet" after they were out of everything she was attempting to order. Very good always fresh. I went yesterday & went to order the farmhouse sandwich but was told they don't serve eggs anymore? I couldn't hear why but from what i did gather it was because of corona virus? Wierd. I had just had a farmhouse sandwich last month. They should at least take down the menu they no longer serve. I ended up settling for a turkey sandwich. To be honest it was good but the turkey was GROSS. It was slimy almost wet, definitely tasted like it was CHEAP lunchmeat. I took the meat off my sandwich. My Mom and I stopped here this morning after a doctor appointment. We've never had Einstein bagels before but my mom was craving a bagel and Tim Hortons wasn't gonna do it for her. Staff was really friendly. James was excellent and asked if we had any questions and suggested his favorites and told us what other customers like. My mom ordered a spinach florentine bagel while I opt for Asiago bagel with plain cream cheese. Both were toasted perfectly. Not too much cream cheese and not too little. Bagels weren't toasted to much to the point they were burnt but they had a nice crisp to them. My mom and I also split a mixed berry smoothie. I'm not a big smoothie drinker but it was surprisingly very delicious. My biggest issue with smoothies is they are too sugary for my liking and this one wasn't too bad for me. $8 for two bagels and a smoothie wasn't too bad for me. The bagels are really good. That's it. Unfortunately the service in the Rochester Hills location is everything but good. It is bad. I ordered 5 bagels - it took three people 5 minutes to hand them to me. Person 1 was the cashier. Person 2 took the bagels out of the basket and put them in the prep area. Person 3 put them in a bag & started to prepare another bagel for another person. Finally I got them. All the time the store manager was standing around doing nothing but talking to people. All depends on who's working. Bagels are inconsistent and sometimes the eggs are too runny. I went in today and i was fed up. First the people behind me in line got their food first. Then I go out to my truck to grab my wallet. I guess they called my name while I went outside cause when I come inside they look at me like I'm stupid and then tell me they threw away my sandwich cause I didn't answer when he called my name...
