I don't have took much to say about this place; I came here looking for some fresh sourdough bread and I definitely found it. They have a European white and the multigrain versions of it. It's such a dense beautiful piece of bread. They will gladly slice it for you, the service is very genuine. I also tried the pizza bread and that sucker is dangerous. Don't get it, because then you'll want it every single time. read more

This bakery has a great variety of bake goods ,but Menu says Sourdough but a True Sourdough does not use a pinch of yeast at all just the starter to be a Sourdough! Sourdough Hybrid should be the name of this bread imo of course read more

An awesome Bakery that freshly Mills their flour everyday to make breads and pastries. Fresh milling allows all 40 of 44 needed daily nutrients to be available for our bodies to thrive and to heal. The bread at the store is DEAD, the wheat germ and bran have been removed so it can stay on the shelf for weeks with no mold or spoilage, it's all about profit. These loaves are a bit more expensive, $6-$8.00/loaf, but they have life changing nutrients. We need to EAT our daily bread not feel guilty about it. Also doesn't spike blood sugars due to the natural fiber content, BRAN, which slows down digestion, also keeps you satisfied hours longer, I no longer crave sugar like before I used this bread. Amazing stuff, it's how God meant it to be! read more

Really happy to have stumbled upon this place. The bread and scones are all fresh baked in house and are delicious. What really got me excited was the fact that they sell sabbath coffee. Sabbath is one of my favorite local roasters, I frequently make the drive from Macomb to Clawson just to grab a few bags of whole bean coffee. I had no idea I could get them so close to home! read more

The best cinnamon bread ! Service friendly. Clean and lots of choices. Scones are also delicious.

5 stars for this excellent bakery! Best scones you'll ever have! Service is always quick. The store itself is big and spacious, with lots to purchase. read more

I always stop in here and buy a protein energy bar for myself or my hair stylist, who works a few buildings down. GREAT THEY ARE ! Their price is $2.50. They sell six different flavors. I buy chocolate peanut butter red white and blue my favorites. Today I decided last minute to buy a bread called Dakota bread for $6.99. The price of bread maybe high? But their ingredients are healthy low carb and specially made throughout the day or early morning hours. When you have that craving, GREAT.. grab it and go and don't look at the price I SAY. Plus it's healthy. We all need good health and to watch our health with sugar, carbs and salt. THANK YOU... Brittnay today for being so kind and thoughtful in selling and giving me a fresh warm bread out of the oven. Then she gave me an extra bag so I could share half the loaf with my mom. GREAT customer service at 12:30 in the afternoon.. I saw 3 other ladies working in back. GREAT job ladies you all know how to BAKE well at Great Harvest Bread! I'll be back when I can or every 4 weeks when I stop in the area for my hair appointment. :) read more

This bakery has so much yummy bread and other carbalicious items throughout the store. It smelled amazing in here! It was a combination of all the fresh baked goodies and coffee brewing. Free coffee and free bread samples- wow! This place really caters to its customers! If your into fresh baked breads, rolls, muffins and the like, this place is a must check out. The employees are super friendly too. They are closed Sundays and Mondays. The prices of their items are kinda on the high side. But the time, effort and quality put into their fresh made products are worth the price. Be sure to check the reduced rack too if you don't mind an item baked the day before, usually a great deal! read more

First time customer. Great shop. I loved their Honey Wheat bread and their Asiago Cheese bread. The woman at the counter was bright and cheerful, and very welcoming. I'll definitely be back. I'm a big fan of fresh, healthy, bakery breads. read more

Stopped in today to pick up a basket and was blown away by the service I received. I was a little overwhelmed by the options and the staff helped me create an amazing basket with a variety of treats! The staff here truly went over and beyond by adding extra items to give the basket a full look, offering plenty of samples to try, a sympathy card for me to sign to be attached to the basket, and a bottle of water when I had a coughing fit, and the owner even carried the basket to my car since I had my baby in my arms. This is only my second time here but I think I will now be a regular...great product, great people! I recommend their baskets for all occasions, such a cute unique gift. read more

I seriously love this place I'm here at least once or twice a month. They have wonderful selection and their bread is heaven. They also have treats for dogs; which my dog goes crazy for them! I wish they had more of a selection for bagels and also they are not open on Mondays. But overall this is my carbohydrate Heaven and I'm sticking to it! read more

Beat scones I've ever had! Feels like each one was made with love. Love all the different flavors

Everything I have purchased here is wonderful. The employees are efficient and friendly. They are very accommodating. For example, my friend and I usually split a loaf of bread. The employees split the loaf for us and package it . The rewards program is quite generous. The store is very clean with bakery items individually wrapped. I highly recommend this business. read more

Yes. Yes. Yes. This place smells sooo wonderful when you walk in. Try everything b/c there are free samples. This is also the only location that makes protein bars. I am a huge fan, but they don't last very long. Get a fresh loaf of bread and protein bars to go! read more

Truly one of the places I frequent for low carb Dakota bread and well, end up buying protein bars and everything else under the sun! Ingredients and quality matter so when it comes to the ever over processed bread in grocery stores, I'll pass and come to Great Harvest where freshness, quality and a smile are signature! read more

Been going to this place for years. I absolutely love the new owners the way they run things seem way more organized, they are friendly and the store is way cleaner than before. If I must suggest something to try it would be chocolate chip cream cheese scone. Or raspberry scone ohh and peanut butter cookie. This place rocks everything is good go give them a try. read more

Bought a groupon , drove far to use it and ended up with so many restrictions with the groupon. Choices were very limited, i thought it would be similiar to Panera but they had a small selection and nothing that you couldnt buy at Meijer or Panera. Young woman behind the counter was not very nice. Rethink going there and find a bakery that truly cares for their customers read more

Picked up some raspberry/white chocolate scones from here at the Dodge Park Farmers Market on Thursday. They were ridiculously good, it was like having a scone for the first time lol. read more

I am absolutely hooked on their mocha protein bars! If you are trying to eat healthy but still love chocolate like me these bars are great. Love that they are made with all natural, healthy ingredients and have tons of protein & fiber to keep you full. I warm mine up daily and eat for breakfast before the gym. Owners are very nice and go above and beyond to make their customers happy! read more

My go-to spot for bread! It's worth the extra trip. I love their Honey Whole Wheat bread, which only has the essential ingredients needed for bread. No added sugar, no crazy chemicals, no long list of ingredients I can't pronounced. And so delicious! read more

They don't label their bread correctly. The bagged cinnamon bread only listed wheat and eggs as allergens, but upon questioning the counter person, the cinnamon chips contain dairy. When I expressed how dangerous that was for people with dairy allergies, the woman couldn't care less. I'm just thankful I asked instead of trusting the label. My daughter doesn't need to end up in the hospital because of their negligence. read more

Every review should be 4-5 stars! If not, don't leave a bad review but talk to the owner first as a person who used to own a store too! This place is AWESOME. They treat their customers like family. I got a gift basket from here and there was NOTHING in this basket we didn't like. Great job. I used to go to Ridleys for funeral baskets but coming here from now on! read more

We LOVE the bread. It's very fresh and keeps about a week on the counter. Well, it would last that long if we didn't eat it so fast. Our favorites are the asiago and Barry Blast which is stuffed full of blueberries, cranberries, cherries and more. It is phenomenal toasted with peanut butter! We also love their new potato chive bread. We cannot recommend them highly enough! They're at the Rochester farmer's market every Saturday too. read more

Come here every 2 weeks .1st off- To the clown who wrote that he could find the same thing at Meijers or Panera? Really? Meijer's? Panera is good- this place is better- except no Bagels And they will make on special order anything that they don't have on a particular day. The 9 grain bread is top notch. Love the place . As far as staff being "Not nice'- we have been here 25-30 times- never found anyone that was not pleasant. read more

Since they have changed hands for 2019 the selection has decreased dramatically and the quality of the scones isn't there anymore.

Everything here is good, from the Blondie bars in the fridge to the samples of fresh muffins and scones out on the table. The staff is always nice, and they produce great work. I personally recommend the rasberry scone, or if you have a sweet tooth, the Blondie bars (mentioned earlier). This place is great!! read more

The new owners are fabulous! They have the best baked goods ever, the scones, muffins, baked breads etc. etc. I could go on and on! Can't wait to stop in again! Oh yeah and the protein bars are so good my husband loves them! read more

Since the new owners, the service and quality has increased tremendously!! The new owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet and every single thing I have tried is absolutely amazing - BEST SCONES EVER! The thing I appreciate most is that the old owners were putting so much more sugar in their protein bars then was said to be in there- the new owners have made the bars healthier and followed the recipe that was actually supposed to be followed and they still taste good- they may taste different people are saying but I personally would rather them taste different and actually be eating a healthy protein bar instead of thinking it's healthy when it's not. read more

I'd been wondering about this place for a while because it is in the same plaza as my gym and annoyingly has 4 parking spots in the first 2 rows designated for its customers. Most of the time only 1 parking spot is filled which forces everyone going to the gym to have to park further back (you'd think that the people going in to buy all of these carbs would benefit from walking a few extra feet from the parking lot into the store, but that's another story entirely). The store is clean, however they do have a table out with samples of bread, muffins, and brownies which are not covered by anything and that kind of made me a little leery (I mean, even buffets have sneeze guards). I spotted a coffee maker in one corner of the store, so it looks like you can hang out in the store for a bit and sip on some coffee and eat your purchase. In addition to bread products, the store also carries jams and butters (under $5 per bottle). The muffins are a decent size and only cost $1.75. The employee who helped me was polite but kind of flat in her affect. I had the apple crumb muffin. It was good...nothing spectacular. I did appreciate the fact that there were apple pieces on the inside of the muffin and not just in the muffin top. read more

I don't even want to leave 1 star! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!! Last year I ordered 3 loafs of their Peppered Swiss bread. I went to pick it up and they took my ordered bread to the local farmers market and sold it. The reasoning..... We didn't know.... Seriously?!?! I just ordered 3 loafs a month ago, went there this past Saturday to make sure they had my order, which they showed me my order ticket. Just went there 30 mins ago and they didn't make the bread.... They didn't have the ingredients! That was their excuse! NO INGREDIENTS!!! Seriously?!?!?! They offered nothing to fix the problem nor did they offer a free loaf of bread or ANYTHING!!! All they said was "sorry for the mix up" I even asked them if I can pick it up tomorrow.... Their answer..." The manager doesn't have time to get the ingredients" THEY HAD A MONTH!!! The staff is so rude also!!!! This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT EVER EVER EVER GO HERE. read more

I have been going to this store on a weekly basis for a few years. The bread is wonderful as are all of their baked goods. The protein bars are great, so good and healthy too. My grandkids love their country white bread, cinnamon chip and Virginia rolls. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for. If you have not been here try it. You will not be disappointed. The owner Theresa always has a smile on her face and is very generous with samples. read more

The protein bars and granola are exceptional...Mocha and Peanut Butter protein bars are the best (IMO). They are much more handy to carry and eat when on a long run or when cycling (very little water is required to digest them) when compared to other popular products on the market. Staff was polite and friendly on both occasions I went there and the bread samples were very good as well...Highly recommended! read more
