a half eaten doughnut with a bite taken out of it

Not bad. Didn't know about this place until we drove by, the custard filled is very good, the donut has great texture, not too fluffy not too dense and the custard is on point, i would of like the chocolate glaze a little bit more on the milk chocolate side, but still very good! The raspberry was very good too, the perfect amount of filling!

    Bad donuts

The donuts seemed to be Atleast two days old very dry no fluff they charge 18.99 for a dozen of donuts and 9 for a half dozen so you save zero money getting a dozen it's cheaper to get less they have no card minimum they charge you extra on card no matter what and the lady at the register explained it was becuase they have to pay for the card machine so they make the customers pay I don't think they understand everyone pays for there care systems in restaurants and no one else charges they also stacked my donuts on top of each other in a small box instead of using a larger box so now my blueberry donuts are in top of my chocolate frosted donuts and don't get me stared on thrre coffee they have the same machines speedway has and charge as if is Starbucks DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE your better off getting Dunkin' Donuts or Tim hortons!!!!

My husband and I love donuts, a little too much. We live nearby so we decided to give this place a try rather than driving to Knapp's donuts. Their donuts aren't spectacular but good enough that I would rather go here than anywhere else since it's conveniently close. The donuts are still much better than the chain donut shops but still not as good as knapps or doms donuts. We have gotten their paczki as well and they are delicious with some very interesting flavors. While picking up some donuts for breakfast my husband decided to order some food as well. We shared a western omelet and biscuits and gravy. Half a dozen donuts and breakfast costs roughly $20 which isn't bad at all. The western omelet was nice a fluffy with lots of pieces of ham and vegetables. The biscuits and gravy was delicious. I will definitely return for their breakfast and donuts.

This might be one of the worst donut places that I've ever been to. It's a dump inside. The service is awful as well.

The sausage tasted like microwave crap. You should use fresh bacon and fresh sausage.

donuts were pasty and almost raw and the price was too high. $25.00 for a dozen donuts is way too much.

Adding a fee to the credit machine is just fine for a small place, there is a fee every time they use it.

The place is small, but well laid out, and the service is spot on. As soon as we were seated, are drink orders were taken immediately. I love omelettes or sweet stuff for b-fast. They get them both right! First time, I got the Spinach, avocado and Swiss omelette, and my driver got the Fruit explosion crepes. We shared, of course. I'm not a potato person, so I always substitute tomatoes for potatoes, when they let me. Their tomatoes were good quality, sweet-ish, not mealy, or too snotty. The crepes were gorgeous to look at and a pleasure to eat! Second time, I got the Elvis french toast which did not disappoint! Warning, they're rich, you may need a glass of milk to wash them down. My driver got the Florentine Benedict and he loved them. They know how to do brunch!!!! I'll definitely be back.

tl;dr a fantastic little cafe serving really delicious crepes with super friendly service…read more Ambiance (5/5): I came to the cafe on a Friday morning to have a little breakfast and do a little computer work, so the cafe was fairly quiet with French music playing at a medium volume (you're aware of it but you won't need to talk too loudly to converse). As super lovely and relaxing vibe. They have a counter that says "Order Here" but there was one other table who ordered at their table and received the check at the end of their meal like regular table service. They offer a guest WiFi network, but definitely would not recommend taking any meetings or calls from this space; it's definitely not that kind of cafe! Food (5/5): I ordered the French Classic, which is egg, cheddar, and ham. It was SO delicious and generously portioned. I honestly didn't expect to feel so full, especially since this crepe wasn't as filled as some of the other ones on the menu, but wow! The crepe itself has a very lovely flavor and well complimented by the thin layer of egg inside. (Sidenote: I've gone back another time since I started writing this review, this time trying the 9am and the Lean Machine crepes. Both tasty and generous with the fillings, but I think the French Classic is still my favorite among the three. You get to taste the crepe itself more, and it's really good!) Service (5/5): I had very obviously portioned off and set aside half the crepe to take home and the staff very skillfully clocked it and handed me a box for it without me even asking. Everyone there is so friendly and attentive, and it really makes me want to keep coming back (and I will!).

I ordered the "Double Trouble" -- French toast loaded with cookie dough, Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate sauce. Let me just say... that dish is a train straight to diabetes. In all seriousness, it was absolutely delicious and indulgent, but definitely on the overly sweet side. If you have a serious sweet tooth, this one's for you. My wife went with the Classic Eggs Benedict, and that was excellent -- well-balanced flavors and cooked just right. The breakfast potatoes, however, were a bit bland. They were cooked well texture-wise but could definitely use more seasoning. Service was so-so, though it seemed like they were pretty busy, which likely played a role. The location is great -- conveniently about a mile from Woodside Church, one of the largest churches in Michigan -- so I can imagine it gets especially packed on weekends. One important note: restroom maintenance needs attention. With only a single restroom per gender, cleanliness is critical. My wife noticed the toilet seat wasn't clean, which is something that should be addressed promptly, especially in a high-traffic establishment. Overall, the food quality was strong, particularly the main dishes, and we'd likely return -- but there are definitely a few operational details that could elevate the experience.

Inside has lots of booth seating and a full bar which was unexpected. Single stall bathrooms but the hand blower is really up high which seemed out of place. Big menu with both breakfast and lunch options. Also tons of boozey drink options, which feels a little out of place at a breakfast/lunch place? Tried the Benedict and French toast. Both were good and tasty. The side of potatoes has good flavoring. Bacon is just right with the cook. The portions was very generous too.
