Wow this doughnut shop was wonderful!!!! The 3 little doughnuts were absolutely amazing. They were light and fluffy and what I loved the most is that it has that homemade taste to it (didn't taste artificial like Krispy Kreme). Perfect when you need a sweet treat. I came 20 min before closing and they tasted so so fresh. They also have hot drinks and cooler drinks so it was nice to be able to get a nice cool drink in 90 deg weather. The gentleman that was at the front was so friendly and nice, he offered great recommendations too and made trying a new doughnut shop so enjoyable. Such a nice place! read more

I came here during Fat Tuesday and got the most filled paczki I ever had! I dropped by yesterday around 3:30 to try their donuts! I thought the donuts in the glass display was all they had but the wall was covered with them! It was hard to make up my mind! I got the peanut one which was perfect! I had the apple fritter today and it was also cooked perfect! Fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside without being greasy! No line and my order was taken quickly. Stopped here on a whim! I needed to pick up 2 dozen donuts for my customers around 930am. The donuts looked fresh and smelled delicious. Hands down the best doughnuts I've ever had. The Carmel apple fritter will be in my dreams.

MY cinnamon bun donut was burnt HARD on the bottom (you could tap the crust of it with your fingernail like an egg shell). Disgusting! I used to love this place, but a burnt donut like this one seems both incompetent and malicious, given it is one of their "nicer" donuts (I can only assume the cheaper donuts are made even worse). I still have the burnt crust taste in my mouth. At first I thought they forgot the sugar, but then I realized it was them selling donuts any DECENT donut shop would have given to the birds or the homeless. This shop tried to pass off a BURNT donut as a perfectly salable donut. I am happy to see they had a nice-enough server at the counter. That is an improvement over the FAT, SLOW diversity hire they had at the counter the last time, who bumped the donuts she handled into the glass as her portly self rubbed against the display case all the while (at least they had a better gal on staff today). Please sell properly-cooked donuts. This is supposed to be a treat, not a regret (sugar and fat content notwithstanding). UPDATE: I bought four of their biggest donuts (one of each). The second of four was also burnt on the bottom and too hard, so the issue seems rampant. Maybe this was a bad batch, but care of quality needs to be consistent (this is not for free but for sale after all...). read more

I spotted this place on my way to work and stopped in a couple of days later to pick up some donuts for the family. When you walk in, the smell is absolutely heavenly. I chose boston cream, glazed, blueberry cake, and a cherry fritter. Oh my! The best donuts I have had in a long time. There are not a lot of these places left, and what a find. I went in at about 8-9am on a saturday morning expecting fresh donuts and these were so dry and you can tell just by touching them. They're cheap but these are definitely low quality, very dry donuts. Didn't even bother eating the rest of my donut after a few bites. My favorite place for donuts cause it's near my house and it's on my way to Planet Fitness..lol!! I'm currently eating one of their paczkis which are great. They have my favorite prune which is hard to fine unless you head to Hamtramck. On a regular day..the donuts are good and fresh..if you get there early enough they are still warm!!
