Unfortunately the entrees do not come with any sides, other than pickles and a small slice of mediocre garlic bread. My friend who had the Monsoon pizza says it's his absolute favorite pizza. The ribs were good and I thought the burnt ends were good also, just a tad too much sauce. For $116 before tip, it was an ok dinner

During our visit, we learned about the bonus bottle program and received helpful wine recommendations and tasting tips, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. If you're looking for a quieter visit, I recommend going during the week when it's less crowded. My only suggestions would be to expand the wine tasting area and improve the parking situation. Otherwise, it's a great place to enjoy a tasting and learn more about wine!

Each time, it seems like the service is just lacking. Maybe we're just not getting the right servers, but when you're paying a premium to dine, there shouldn't be any "wrong" servers. At our most recent meal earlier this month, the timing was off on our meal and our server was just awkward and robotic. Disappointing, especially as we were giving this spot another chance after over a year away. The food is good and the menu offerings are expansive, but again, inconsistent. Maybe next year...

My girlfriend did not like the taste of her wings, so I ate my wings (delicious as always), then ate her wings. Again, neither she nor I want to be complainers, so I just ate the 2 orders. Right after my girlfriend discovered she did not like the taste of her wing order, we tried to get the attention of our server. After many attempts to flag them down we were finally able to purchase a replacement flavor for my girlfriend. I had consumed all of my wings, then consumed all of my girlfriend's initial order (my stomach let me know I really did not need that) & we sat & waited & waited finally getting her replacement flavor delivered...believe it or not, the 2nd order were more of the same flavor she did not like from her 1st order instead of the replacement flavor she ordered!!!!! We skipped their awesome chocolate chip cookie skillet with ice cream, because while we love it & usually get it for dessert, we were getting tired of waiting so long for (bad) service & / or being checked on. Besides, after consuming multiple orders of wings which we did not want in the 1st place, no way I could enjoy my half of the desert on top of all those wings. The effort to get the server to bring us our bill prolonged an already long day at CBCB anyway. When we did finally get the bill, we figured out CBCB must order ballpoint pens in boxes of hundreds if not thousands at-a-time that must sit around for months / years until it is time to order more. Writing with the pen the server gave me from the bottom of the last box ordered was like trying to write & sign the bill with a dead stick that fell off a tree. The ink was dried up. I scribbled it on the back of the check, on the paper drink coasters, on paper napkins, on a piece of paper in my girlfriend's purse, anything else I could find, but I could not get it to write. I would have been better off writing the gratuity & signing the bill with my salad fork. Rather than try to flag down our server to get a pen that writes, then have to wait again on top of that for them to bring it to us, my girlfriend had a pen in her purse. I paid the bill, wrote my number on the bill (that's how you get Rewards points at CBCB) & we left. Oh, & by-the-way, you guessed it...we never received the applicable rewards points in my account.

Food: I ordered a Veggie Omelette with Spinach added and Whole Wheat Toast, decaf coffee, and water. My friend ordered an all-meat skillet, sourdough toast, coffee, and water. The omelette/skillet was overcooked and dry. My friend sent back his toast because it was served with a MOLD SPOT on it. Our server was not swayed by the mold and replaced it. No apologies or contact from the managers. By this point, we just didn't want to finish what we ordered and left. Dining room is well lit and spacious. Lots of available seating but could not help that their "Grand Opening" sign has been hanging outside for WEEKS. Servers are slow and never seem to be pleasant (more melancholy). Overheard one server speaking with some guests at a table using profanity. This review was based on my individual experience. This used to be our favorite breakfast spot but clearly is no longer the case. Having watched the gradual decline in quality and service, I am no longer inspired to spend my money at AZ Diner.

I also got a specialty latte (can't remember which) and that was bitter and not at all something I'd get again. To recap: you can't go wrong with the pancakes or chicken fried steak. Make sure to ask for salsa. Skip the latte. Overall the experience was great and I'd go back next time we're in town.

I've been a fan of First Watch for a while, having visited several locations around the area. Unfortunately, my recent visit to the Surprise location didn't quite live up to my expectations. The food was still good, with fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. However, the service was slower than I remembered, even on a non-busy day. What struck me most was that the spark that made my first visits to different First Watch locations so memorable was missing. The staff seemed friendly enough, but the overall experience felt a bit flat. I hope this was just an off day, as I'd love to see First Watch return to its usual high standards. Still worth a visit for the food, but hoping for a more energetic and attentive service next time. read more

I had such a great experience with my server, Jessica! Even though I found a hair in my food, she handled the situation with so much kindness and professionalism. She immediately offered to remake the entire plate, and when she returned, she told me she had taken it off the bill, which I honestly didn't expect at all. That was incredibly thoughtful. Jess was attentive, accommodating, and so sweet throughout my visit. She truly turned what could've been an unpleasant situation into a positive one. Took about 15 mins to get order which is nothing especially because they were busy. No wait to be seated. Alison was amazing! What a great server. Had refills before we even knew we needed them. She came over every little while to check on us with a great big smile on her face. Lots of fried chicken on the menu. I noticed burgers, steak, pancakes, french toast. I am picky and was able to find a meal. I would definitely recommend.

Cracker Barrel scared me the first time I dined there. We had pulled up well past sundown, in a…read morecity in the southern US. This was about 30 years ago but I can still picture exactly where we sat as I tried to disappear into that booth - and I can still taste the comfort of that first bite of pot roast. Just like my mom's. She had passed not too long before. It warmed my soul. I have been to the Buckeye Cracker Barrel at least three times. Every time, I order the pot roast and I *will* it to be like that first time. It never is. Not that it's bad. It's just not mom's. But, I at least feel in proximity to that comfort. The other thing that never changes is where we are seated at this Cracker Barrel. Always, we're the first table in the middle section, just on the other side of the partition. We arrived when only two other tables were occupied, both in the first section when you come in the restaurant. When we left, that first section was nearly full, and no one was sat in the middle section where we were. It was oddly comforting, to always be at that table. But, odd.
