    Chips and queso
    Holly D.

This was a chill place to get some good upscale bar food. It was an unusually cool June night so we sat outside with great misters. This place is doggie friendly so next time we will bring our pup. It was later in the evening so we decided to split appetizers. The queso was really good but the chips seemed a bit stale. The chicken strips were good and crispy but I should babe subbed for sweet potato; the regular fries were average. This place is a solid option in the area for food and drinks and will accommodate a large group.

We finally decided to try and give OHSO another shot and the past two visits have been great. See sat at a table one time and the same week went again and tried the bar area again. Both experiences were so much better. Service was friendly and we weren't left feeling ignored etc. II loved the shrimp taco board. It had a bit of a kick. The next visit I tried the turkey avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries, again delicious, my husband had their wings and said they were good and not over sauced. I will say on the day we sat inside it was freezing and we hurried and ate and left. When we sat at the bar we opted for outside which was much better with a bit of the outside warmth but misters and such helped.

We came to watch the soccer game. Wow was a lovely large space. We were greeted quickly the girls at the front were so nice and accommodating. We sat, greeted by Courtney wow she was amazing service was on point, it was very busy and she still came by often to check on us. The food was yummy, and my drink summertime was refreshing. We will be back for sure. I love all the pup pics super cuteee....

My husband and I took our 21 year old son to dinner around 8:30 on the first night of the World Cup. It wasn't too busy. Our server just took our orders and never came back. She forgot to put on the order to bring ketchup, mayo and other things. She never came back to refill waters or anything either. But of course she came back to have us pay the bill. You know how restaurants hand you the electronic thing to add a tip and stand there making everyone uncomfortable? Yeah....she was there for that. Anyway - the brisket Mac and cheese was ordered by my son who ate it so fast he practically inhaled it. He loved it. I ordered the turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. They forgot the turkey, the main ingredient. Boooo My husband ordered a burger. It was obviously frozen. It was a perfect circle. And it was a $22 burger. Too bad.

Had an amazing brunch today on the patio! My husband and I each got a meal & beer and somehow left under $30. Holy smokes, what a great deal! The gravy was top notch & the kids cheeseburger was to die for. I'm not even kidding, the best cheeseburger I've had in awhile! The service by Owen was unforgettable. He provided quick service & even educated us on how we can bring our dogs to their more than dog friendly patio. There's a full blown water "tap" station with bowls, free handmade dog treats & enough shade/fan/mister(s) to keep you & your pup cool during the heat! Cannot wait to come back! ( and review with photos of course )

Soggy mess, the inside temp of the meal was cool, the "crispy" parts where all soggy, absolutely disgustingly moist, almost like it sat out for the length of the day vs entire meal prep... which timing shouldn't be that complicated for a party of two! Truly disappointing... not worth the inflated pricing!!

This place does great every time we go in to eat. Saturday afternoon @ 2:15, no reservations - 4 people. The place was hopping, no wait, greeted immediately, seated immediately. Went in specifically for the Clam Chowder Soup and it did not disappoint. We're told it's made on Fridays and it's served until they run out. So good. Ordered the Ensalada Del Sol salad- it was fantastic. Also ordered the flourless chocolate cake - decadent, rich, perfection. It was busy, loud, but we loved it. Thank you OSHO! Or w server Olivia was the best, attentive, polite, friendly, and helpful.

So we took our pup to OHSO Brewery in Surprise.... we have been coming here more often because we really love their food and they have good music on and this place just has got a great vibe and awesome service here... Our server is awesome - this is a special shout out to Raegan who always takes good care of us and our pup Logan... OHSO really had thought of everything... they've got disposable bowls for the water "on tap" and they gave Logan chicken jerky treats and they had a puppy menu... so Logan's favorite is the huge burger patty...OHSO is Logan Approved!!!

OHSO Brewery was so close to 5 stars. The tortilla chips they served were stale. I could have asked for a different batch and I am sure that they would have obliged. Solid service! They kept my Arnold Palmer coming. The potstickers were okay. The sauce was delicious but we will ask for it on the side because it will keep the dumplings crispier. The Ensalada salad was okay. Great fresh greens but the seasoned chicken could have had more flavor. The star was the carne asada with chimichurri sauce. It was tender and flavorful. The pico, salsa and guacamole on the side were so cute. My daughter said, "I wish my salad came with your steak."

Great service, unfortunately I could not get expresso martini as they did not have all the ingredients. Had a Bloody Mary instead-pretty tasty. My husband loves the Baltic porter, especially during happy hour. Tried the $3 chips and queso. Tasted good with the drinks. I had salmon BLT with sautéed vegetables. Really good. My husband had the all American burger with fries. He thought it was tasty but difficult to eat-bun too soft for him. Lovely setting and nice to watch all the activity.Clean and pleasant.

    Buffalo chicken Dip
    Erin D.

I will qualify this by saying that every other OHSO I have been to is fantastic. And the service and management here was good. But the food at our visit was hit and miss. The buffalo dip was good but the chips tasted like a mix of fresh and stale chips. The carne asada tacos were fatty and overcooked. The brisket sandwich was overcooked brisket and a hard bun. The AZ burger was good and the sweet potato fries were okay. But when you are paying $18-20 a plate, you expect more. The manager was understanding and helped us out. But I am sad to say I will not visit this OHSO again. I'll drive to the next closest one.

Definitely have to update my review after having come back multiple times since opening. We always sit at the bar and service is quick and friendly. I love the outside bar and huge open air patio on a nice day - perfect for enjoying the AZ weather and a couple beers. OHSO has a great happy hour special and a brunch menu with fresh options from the test kitchen in Scottsdale. On my last visit I had the breakfast tostada and would absolutely order it again. Tons of flavor and comes with a mimosa. Perfect brunch combo!

Great spot with plenty of covered patio seating! It was super comfy even on hot days thanks to the misters. Heads-up: They don't take reservations at the Surprise location even though the website makes it seem like they do with a reservation button. It's very busy on weekends. Service was solid, and when the flies started getting annoying outside, our server brought over a fan that kept them at bay. Small touch, but much appreciated! Food was tasty! Definitely try the Hatch Green Chile Pork. The menu says it's spicy, but I found it more sweet than spicy. Still full of flavor and worth ordering.

Our server checked in with us multiple times and was super considerate, giving us privacy when he noticed we were having a deep discussion. Our food was fantastic. I've been here before with my husband and other friends but this was their first time. They've traveled to Ireland and England before so they were eager to try the Bangers and Mash to compare them. They had no complaints and almost finished it all off. They were thrilled to have leftovers though! Hubby ordered the Fish N Chips and the fish was super moist and tender, the batter light and crispy without being too crispy. He's usually not too into French fries, but he polished off the chips pretty quickly. I had the Irish Breakfast and it was amazing. Two fried eggs but with a warm, silky, runny yolk that I mopped up with the thick slab of brown bread was a great start. The black and white puddings were a wonderful surprise as the black pudding wasn't too mineral-tasting like some blood sausages can be to me. I actually wanted more! The fried potatoes were delightfully fluffy on the inside with a slight crispness on the outside. The rashers of bacon were a little salty for me, but when paired with the potatoes, they were perfect! I love coming back here!

My 1st visit to a Yard House ever was this Glendale location in 2008. My friend invited me to this location citing their great happy hour. I remember I liked the sliders on the happy hour pricing, which was cheap back then. A wide variety of beer options and huge glasses the length of a half yard. A full yard would be difficult to drink and way too much beer to drink in one sitting; plus the beer would get warm & flat by the time you'd finish a whole yard of beer. Staff was nice at the Glendale location. Now, 18 years later happy hour is still good albeit different and yes more expensive but still good deal relative to normal price.

Deidra behind the bar is always attentive, on top of it, and great to talk to--she makes you feel taken care of without ever being over the top.
