Our server, Brayden, really made the visit stand out. He was super friendly, energetic, and genuinely welcoming from the start. My husband and I just had brunch at OHSO brewery. I had the Og bowl and my husband had the Brisket skillet. Both were delicious!

Were there with a group of 12 including 2 under 2 on a Saturday and had made a reservation 2 weeks earlier requesting the patio for the toddlers. When we got there they had given our table to another party in error, but when we told them we needed outside for the toddlers, they came through and accommodated us outside. The server handled the group well, getting orders and drinks correct and in a timely fashion. The Food was REALLY good and there were no complaints from anyone. Went in Sunday morning close to 1130 and we're given a Brunch menu actually wanted more of a lunch menu not one leaning toward breakfast. Told that was their menu till 2pm. I know many restaurants serve brunch but wow two is extremely late. I'd say till noon and then swapping menu to their more diverse menu. I've been to three of the OHSO's in the valley, and I'm always excited to go. First and foremost....fantastic beer!!! Follow that up with incredible service and great food makes OHSO a must try. The Surprise location is fairly new, and offers both patio seating as well as indoor (open air during warmer months) with both low top and high top seating. The patio has industrial misters for added comfort in the summer. One suggestion, if there's live music, the patio will be too loud to carry on a conversation with your party. Even on busy evenings, you won't wait too long. The one negative is the location in a very busy new shopping area with other great restaurants. You may be lucky and get parking within a short walk, but more than likely will not. But hey, you'll forget about the extra walk once you're inside enjoying a great time. read more

Would only recommend for Happy Hour. Arrived just after HH on St Patrick's Day. They had decorated for the occasion, had Irish music on, and the employees were dressed in green - yet when I asked if any specials were on, I was told by the bartender, "We're not an Irish bar" - huh ? They menu they gave us have specials on from Pi Day still but nothing for St Paddy's - somethings not adding up. We only stayed for one beer and left. Some people had green beer too and others not. Great for kids to run around. It did get busy towards us leaving and a live band was setting up. The food was up to par, prices are in the medium range and the happy hour is a great deal! Other locations provided more doughnut holes and more powdered sugar and strawberries. So that was a little disappointing. The salmon bruschetta was, again just okay and a little disappointing. There was no kale salad and instead was an arugula salad which, is a little too pungent as a salad. The bruschetta needed acidity too. The biscuits and gravy were again just okay. They needed some salt but the gravy surprisingly just lacked any stand alone flavor. The bacon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Not sure if we will be back, but overall the food was just okay. Hey O.H.S.O. of Surprise! We just want to say, please keep doing what you're doing because this place has quickly become one of our favorite spots in town! We absolutely love finding dog-friendly places to eat and drink, and your patio is just perfect for that. Honestly, you can't beat happy hour prices, and even your regular menu prices are super competitive for Surprise! We're just hoping the summer heat doesn't put a damper on our patio fun. We've tried so many things from the menu, but we keep going back for some standout favorites like the Monster Pretzel & Dips, the flavorful (albeit a bit messy) Street Tostada, the tasty AZ Burger, and the indulgent Chocolate Mousse Cake. And we can't forget about our dog's favorite--those cucumbers from the pup menu! We haven't shared the secret of the proteins with him yet, though! Every visit has been great service-wise, and I've had the flight of beers--you truly can't go wrong. Went in on a weekend for lunch, it was about 65% full, server was friendly however the service was slow. Ordered appetizers, burgers and breakfast times and the food was all terrible. Burger was not seasoned well, bun was dry, fries were double fried and cold, and all leftover pieces. No check back on table, no manager checking back. I have no clue how this place is busy. The food quality was bad. Took forever to get the bill, for four people ordering sodas and food bill was over $100. You can get a better experience at portillos or in n out burger. read more

I was incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to the OHSO location in Surprise. Despite being new, there is no excuse for the poor service, cleanliness, and food quality we encountered. Two tables that arrived after my party of four were served well before us. When we finally asked a manager about our food, it arrived, but my burger was so undercooked it was practically inedible. The manager explained the delay by saying, "We are slow because we still have kinks to work out," but that does not justify the subpar experience. This was especially disheartening because OHSO is usually my favorite place to eat, but this location falls far short of expectations. When I went to use the restroom, I found it in a messy state, which is unacceptable. Additionally, our server never offered us refills, and as we entered OHSO, we saw a worker vaping outside before attending to the tables in the back. This behavior is both unprofessional and unacceptable. This location does not represent the OHSO name well. I rarely give bad reviews unless they are truly warranted, and this one certainly is due to the long wait times and poor food quality. If there are so many issues because they are new, perhaps they should consider a soft opening before fully opening to the public. I will NOT be revisiting this location. read more

Well, Surprise is finally hopping! Prasada has exploded with possibilities for dining. Today, we chose OHSO for dinner. Now, please let it be known that we are not beer people. Only spirits lift our spirits. But we had checked out the menu beforehand and thought we had a plan. Upon entering the restaurant, it was reminiscent of Buffalo Wild Wings. Screens littered the ceilings everywhere. It was so loud that we could barely hear the hostess. We chose the outside seating as it seemed quieter. Right there, that's a RED FLAG. Our server, Owen, was very pleasant. We ordered chicken and waffles, and a burger, pink. I ordered a Cucumber Mule. The mule was very light and didn't seem to carry much strength. My burger was not pink. The chicken and waffles, after promising a spicy maple syrup, was similarly bland. It was odd. Does beer make bland food taste better? We couldn't find our server and another stepped in for him, saying that he had THIRTEEN tables. At this point, we were losing interest in O.H.S.O. rapidly. By the time we were cashed out, the restaurant had calmed down and we were leaving a sparsely populated restaurant at 8:45. So, we thought the food was edible, but bland. The OHSO sauce on my burger tasted like cocktail sauce and mayo (it probably wasn't). The environment is greatly overdone, like my burger. Too many TVs. The staff seemed frazzled, but pleasant. I did have an issue with the dress of one employee who didn't seem to know how to dress professionally when one has a large chest. For contrast, we went to Barrio Queen and the female employees were dressed very well. I also have that particular challenge, and discretion and dignity have always been my goal, at least when working. So to see a large chested female wearing a sloppy tank top which revealed the enormous stress that her poorly fitted bra was being subjected to, is offputting to me. There should be gentle guidance for these employees. As we walked out, the music followed us into the parking lot. A country song with the F Word in it. Good grief. Well, maybe we aren't the patrons that they are looking for. To that end, we needn't meet again. read more

My husband and I had the steak and fries for an appetizer (YUM). For dinner, he had the green chile pork, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and I had the angry bird sandwich, which I would not order again. It felt like it didn't know what it wanted to be- I was excited about it when I read the description on the menu, but in execution, none of the elements really made sense together. My server took forever to get to me, so she instantly tried complimenting my jewelry which felt forced to make up for me waiting. I needed a refill, I needed napkins. Said screw it and had to flag her down for the check. She was even ignoring her coworkers behind the bar. All of a sudden she's asking me what I'm doing the rest of the day, again, trying to brown nose because she took forever. Gave her no tip.
