My husband and I went out for dinner last Friday, and overall it was a good experience. Since it was a busy Friday evening, we weren't able to make a reservation ahead of time, but thankfully the wait for a table for two was only about 10 minutes. We noticed we had a newer waitress, as we've visited this location a few times before. She still did a great job with service and made sure to get our happy hour drink orders in before the cutoff. Happy hour is available during the week until 6 PM and includes select drink and food specials. Drinks start around $5 and up, while food specials are about $12 depending on what you order. They also offer lunch specials from 11 AM to 3 PM during the week (I'm not sure if this applies on weekends, so I'd recommend checking ahead of time). One thing I do recommend is downloading their app so you can sign up for rewards and earn points on your purchases. You just give your server your phone number to receive points. It would be even more convenient if they allowed you to scan your receipt yourself in the app, but that feature isn't available yet. This restaurant is located in the Prasada area in Surprise, surrounded by plenty of shopping and dining options like Firebirds, Blue Sushi, Kohl's, Fat Cats, TJ Maxx, Ulta, and more, which makes it a great spot to visit while you're out and about. Overall, our food was made per our order notes. We ordered the southwestern burger well done with fries and we also ordered another burger with fries as well. I wish Fry's automatically come with the water so you do not get a up charge of $2.50 but if you come for lunch, Fry's is automatically included with your order on a select burger without an additional charge. read more

Good food and cold drinks been there many times with my wife. I do think they need hire more workers seem always under staffed.

I've always had good experiences at their other locations and this was also a good experience. We sat at the bar and the server there was great. Friendly and patient with us. I love that they have a great selection of beers including my favorite local beer. The fried pickles were crunchy and hot out of the frier. But beware, they are spicy and the dipping sauce gives them an extra kick. If you are like me and love spicy, then these are a good starter. We split the burger and some onion rings and it was delicious and came pretty soon after our appetizer. For a sports bar restaurant they do well at providing good food and service. This was just okay. The beer selection was excellent. There was a wide ariettes of options available in draft, bottle or can. They also offered boozy shakes and cocktails. The staff was excellent. Super attentive and seemed to know when to stop by and when to leave us alone. We sat outside because the weather was outstanding. The set up is great and it appears they have both misters and heaters be pending on what the need is. I thought the food was just okay. We started with a bowl of onion rings which were fine. I had the hangover burger and again it was fine. I was a bit disappointed with the bun. The top bun was nothing special and the bottom bun ended up pretty soggy. Went here on Saturday evening. Obviously going to be busy. Put our name in and agreed to first available, as long as no high top, then went to go wait at bar for a text. I missed the first text, due to cheering for the game. 5 minutes later I receive a text that my slot has been cancelled since I didnt respond. I went to the desk to check. She said it's our policy after 5 minutes to cancel. Younger gal in her 20's with long dark hair and dark rim glasses. Fair enough. Agreed to re-wait. At 623, i get another text that my name has been placed on the waitlist again. And also at 623, another message my reservation has been cancelled. I go back to the desk to see what is up, and the same gal says oh that is because the first time slot was cancelled. I say, but I already received a cancel for that one, could you please double check. I got an eye-roll and a condescending remark about you are on the wait list again. At 640p, I get another text that our table is ready. I basically run to the front desk. A different gal with long blonde hair says right this way as she goes to seat us. She proceeds to take us to a high top. I politely tell her we asked for either inside or out, but not a high top. She apologizes and goes back to the gal with the long dark hair. So not that it is their business, but we cannot sit at a high top because my husband wears a full leg brace due to his cancer, so he cant climb up easily and it pushes on his tumor. She comes back after about a minute and says I am really sorry, but this is the only table available. We are looking at two low tables right outside the door outside, as well as 2 low tables and 3 booths all within sight. At this point, we ask for a manager. He comes over and we explain the above. He is apologetic and shows us to a low-top table, literally next to the hightop the gal with the long dark hair was insisting we sit at. I was in the service industry for 18 years, including in Seattle and Manhattan/NYC. I understand food service. That gal with the dark hair was a complete and utter Bit** and extremely unprofessional. She never smiled once at the front desk. She was unreasonable and because it was busy, she was rude to paying customers. The second hostess just repeated what she was told. The manager did his job and mitigated what was a terrible experience. Our server was a joy and we were able to move past it and enjoy the food. Which was really good. And the beer was cold. One last thing was we saw the manager over talking to the dark hair hostess, and she was pointing at our table repeatedly and yelling at him. I understand the service industry is understaffed. But keeping someone like her, is detrimental to your establishment. She will lose you customers 100%. Thank you to the manager and other hostess, and our server. This was our first time at one of these locations and it will be our last. We placed an order for takeout. The total was about $45 for two burgers. I will say the burger was cooked the way we asked (pink) so we were happy about that; however, there was absolutely no flavor. We were quoted a 20 wait for pick up. When I got there the food wasn't ready which wasn't a big deal at first. I had to ask the lady to check a few different times. The food was 12 minutes past the quoted time. I ordered fries for both burgers and they messed up on one of them. Overall the restaurant is your typical bar. From what I saw it looked clean. I was not impressed with the quality of food. I was craving a nice juicy burger and I got a dry flavorless burger. I was surprised that it was dry considering that it was cooked medium. Lesson learned, never going here again. read more

I've visited several Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers spots in the west valley, but this one is hands-down the best of them all! From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted warmly, and the waitresses and bartenders are always friendly and welcoming. Unlike many other restaurants, the sound system here is at the perfect volume--not too loud--making it ideal for enjoying conversations with family or friends at the table. I have to give a special shout-out to Amanda, one of the bartenders. She's absolutely fantastic! Amanda always takes my order with a bright, friendly smile, and her multitasking skills are nothing short of amazing. I've never seen anyone handle tasks so seamlessly. Since she's served me multiple times, Amanda now has my usual custom food order memorized, and she never forgets to apply my military discount at the end of the night. Talk about impressive service! Since its opening, Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers Prasada has become my go-to hangout. The unbeatable combination of a great atmosphere, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and Amanda's outstanding service ensures that I'll be coming back time and time again. I don't think I'll go back mostly because It's quite a ways away from me. Don't get me wrong. It wasn't terrible but I had a mushroom bacon cheeseburger cost $18 a pretzel that cost nine and an iced tea that cost almost 4 dollars by the time I was done, tip included, my cheeseburger lunch cost $43 bucks. But the thing for me about it all is that my $18 mushroom Swiss burger didn't taste like anything. There's no seasoning there's no flavor nothing. The pretzel was OK but doughy and at first I thought the cheese sauce was really good but later I was kinda turned off to it, also took a really long time and I didn't go during peak times. I went about 2:30 in the afternoon. Left shortly after 4 Servers were good. Nice and friendly. But idk. I'm not sure we needed another hooters or twin peaks type of place but here we are! Service was terrible. Upon entering this restaurant the hostess was stressed. Another customer cut in front of us and she sat that customer. When she returned we asked why she seated that customer when we were next. She said that that customer is an employee. We were then asked inside or outside. Either one was fine. We waited and there were lots of empty tables both inside and outside. I asked one of the servers why so many empty tables and she said they only had 2 servers. We waited for a bit and looked around and noticed that many customers have been there for a while waiting for their food. The servers were stressed. I blame their management for the situation they put their employees in this situation. Needless to say we walked out. We went to Firebirds Restaurant where we were greeted with a professional warm welcome and the server was friendly and polite. read more

We love CBCB! It's our go-to with our neighbors and they're 2 young kids and we always have good food, good service and good fun.
