    SoCal Breakfast Hash

Establishment was clean, didn't even have to wait..staff was super friendly, food was amazing I had the socal hash and the pomegranate drink was refreshing. Would definitely recommend this place as I'll be back in the summer time.

I stopped by for a quick brunch one day during the week. I was greeted with no wait and friendly staff. My waitress was excellent and didn't hesitate to check in with me throughout my time there. The omelet was very large and well with the cost. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the avocado and greens in the middle of winter. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. You can't go wrong with First Watch.

Stopped in for an early Mother's Day brunch. I e got there about 1pm, missed the AM rush, thankfully. The location was nice and clean. Was seated almost immediately. I gave it a 4 star because our server was MIA and I had to ask for her. Not a good start. My mother and in both ordered our favorites, extensive menu and they have gluten free options, always a thumbs up Unfortunately when our food was delivered, the kitchen did not get the memo on the GF. We had to send one of our plates back. Not good. The food was tasty and it was not at all disappointed once we had all of our food.

    Brisket hash - amazing!!!

The brisket hash is amazing, even better than the salmon benedict and salmon frittata, which are my go-tos (the benedict more than the frittata). If the brisket hash is seasonal, I'll be sad to see it go. It's incredible. Iced mint mocha is nice, but there needs to be more of it.

The restaurant inside was very chill. The wait wasn't long, we went around 10ish am so just the slow down for brunch time. Lucky this time we get in fast, they are usually very busy and the wait is endless. We sat down and was greeted very quickly. Our waiter was very nice. He bring us the menu and introduce us to some new fall menu. We didn't order anything from the fall menu, maybe besides the Carrot juice, which was good. I got the Kale tunic, more green to my liking. We ordered some food and I always like their pancake. So trying something new, I got the yummy lemon ricotta pancake and it was soooo good. I waited about 10-15 minutes to eat it, cuz they never bring the syrup, and i can't get ahold of my waiter or anyone. They were all some where and my guy was busy with other tables. So I started my Parma House hash brown. It was tasteless or mostly burnt smokey flavor. I added hot sauce, sadly they don't have tabasco here, and black pepper + salt. It wasn't my good, maybe it's missing some cheese. The mushroom hash my daughter have was salty and extra burnt taste. She couldn't eat it at all, and attempted to eat just the mushrooms because that's what she like. So both the food wasn't great, the pancake was delicious and the juices. Service was good.

I enjoyed our brunch. The food was good, the service was even better. We didn't order the drinks although they looked delicious on everyone else's table. We ordered tea and the waitress was kind enjoy to bring us multiple tea bags and hot water. The food, service, location, parking, cleanliness of the restaurant with the extra tea made this a five star experience. We felt special. I will definitely try them again.

We came in this past weekend, I had the new carnival omelet which was great, the service was good no issues there but the restaurant was fealthy! We go to first watch often and in many cities and states and have never seen a first watch in this condition. The location was packed, server and staff were accumulating and we did get inline via first watch online.

I will not drag the competition, but Dublin's Pass was the clear winner. I won't use specifics, but you get so much more bang for your buck, purely from a financial aspect. Let me first say, the eggs arrive on a plate with a light breading that adds the perfect balance of crunch yet balanced with the soft egg. All brought to you with a mustard that is the perfect combination of pickled veg and punchy mustard. The meat was cooked perfectly. The combination between the meat, egg and mustard marry one another beautifully to lend to a flavor roller coaster in your mouth. What really sets these Scotch eggs apart is the attention to detail. They taste like they are meant for a flavor rollercoaster. Each element feels intentional. Whether you're a longtime Scotch egg lover or trying one for the first time, this restaurant sets the bar high. Simply put: these are the Scotch eggs other places should be aspiring. Eggs aside, we also had an order of the boneless wings. Not a hard thing to get right, but we had roasted garlic parmesan with garlic aioli, to die for. I am from out of town, and this place is absolutely a must. It will never not be on to do list.

Eating in a wing back chair, at some odd table, isn't well suited for dining. But, sure looks neat. The food is ok to good: Burger : The burger was really good. Has some jam sauce on it which really works. Beef has a good flavor. The bacon was very good. . Potato soup: The soup is good....but needed far greater seasoning to have it be great. Pork Wings: Again, needed more seasoning to elevate the pork. And the dipping sauces were a bit unusual. And the Asian style sauce - by gosh did it have a ton of saffron. Patagonia side item: These potato chunks weren't much. Potatoes were nothing special, under seasoned and the dipping sauce was unusual. And so much saffron, it was way overpowering. . Is it worth going to - absolutely and the place is neat. But I give an extra 1/2 to 1 star more, just because of the neatness of the place.

I really wanted to like The Table…read more The space itself is absolutely beautiful -- one of the best dining rooms in Springfield -- and it feels like the kind of place that should deliver a more elevated, full-service experience. That's part of what made the counter-service model feel a little out of sync with the atmosphere. We first tried visiting as a group of about 12 on a Saturday around 7 PM. I had called ahead and was told they don't take reservations, so we planned accordingly. When we arrived, we were told there wasn't any way to accommodate our group together -- not even the option to wait for space to open up -- so we ended up going elsewhere. I did come back later with a smaller group for lunch. The experience was better logistically, but still a bit disjointed. The menu felt somewhat scattered, and while we were able to find seating at a communal table, the overall flow felt a bit chaotic. After ordering at the counter, the wait for food was quite long -- around 45 minutes or more -- which gave us plenty of time to observe how things were running. Toward the end, I noticed tables being marked as unavailable/reserved, which made me wonder why a similar approach couldn't have worked for larger groups earlier. When the food arrived, it was good -- nothing wrong with it -- but not especially memorable, especially considering the wait and price point. There's a lot to like here, especially the space and overall concept, but the execution didn't quite match the expectations for me. I do think with some adjustments to service flow and consistency, this could be a much stronger experience.

LOUD AF on a Tuesday night with incredibly slow service…read more I like to eat in local places while we're on the road. Read about this place being historic with a beautiful bar and lovely tin ceiling. And that is all true. Walked in and could not believe how loud the single singer with an acoustic guitar was. There was a sound engineer, working a board, so he must've thought that level was OK. But you could not have a conversation at all. I was wishing for earplugs. When we first stepped in, I considered just looking at the carved mahogany bar and going somewhere else. But, we figured it should be fast and we could endure the cacophony for a short time. We were so wrong about it being fast. There was only one wait staff working that night, and she was also behind the bar. When she finally moseys over to us, she admitted she had forgotten all about us. She then took our drink order, and the drinks came quickly. But then she literally never came back to take a food order. Watched her go to all the other tables, watched her clean off the bar, watched her answer a phone call for a takeout order, and then I finally went up to the bar and asked her if we could put in a food order. Once the food was ordered it came out quickly. My husband's smashburger and candied pecan salad were both really delicious. I am a sucker for a local food item whenever I see it on the menu, and I made the mistake of ordering the cashew chicken poutine. The cashew sauce had zero flavor and was just overly salty. The chicken was fried very tough. At least the cheese curds were good. But I barely ate any of it. Nothing but regret about this choice.
