Whoever signed off on the planning should lose their job. The parking lot does not even come close to accommodating the traffic generated by the three businesses in the building. Very disappointing experience! We have been loyal First Watch patrons for many years, so were excited to have them open up in Riverview. We used the No Wait app, only to discover that it didn't make any difference...we were put on the list just as if we had walked through the doors without using it. Then, I ordered my usual: Healthy Turkey omelette. After waiting 45 minutes to receive it, discovered that it was very undercooked. There's not much more stomach-curdling for me than jelly-like egg whites. So, I asked to have it redone. Second offering was just as undercooked! Since my husband had finished his meal, I just asked that they remove the charge and I would eat something at home. When checking out, my husband mentioned the experience and the person at the register said, "Well, at least the charge was removed." Not the point! One should be able to get properly cooked food...and I only send anything back when it is REALLY a problem. We definitely won't be back to this First Watch! read more

This First Watch just opened in our neighborhood and we decided to have breakfast. The parking it's a little difficult because this business shares the parking with Tijuana Flats. The wait time was fairly quick and they take your name and number and text you when it's your time. The lemon ricotta pancakes are amazing and you don't even need syrup . The service was amazing, while you wait for your name to be called they have complimentary coffee . Traveling with a three year old and an infant is never easy . This is by far the worst food and service I've ever received at a restaurant especially for the price. They charged me TWO DOLLARS FOR SHREDDED CHEESE on my eggs and they barely put any. Why would I pay 18$ for crappy service and food when I can pay half of that at Denny's and have a great experience. Definitely will not return. Management sucks and the servers are rude. read more

Sadly; I am very disappointed in this restaurant. I love the food, service has been great. The fact that they offer healthy and gluten free food choices draws me in. This morning at 8 am, I show up and give the hostess my name. Jessyca for 5! She tells me it will be 45-50 mins. I can't see why... there's barely anyone there and tables available. Hostess then proceeds to ask if we've signed in on the 'app'?! I respond NO.. isn't this a first come first serve establishment? Hostess responds NO, it's actually NOT with an attitude. (She's young (millennial type). She tells me that there are several people ahead of me signed up for seating on the app, however the tables were empty, me and my family were already there- cash paying patrons. Again, I was told 45-50 mins. I was beyond pissed. I advised that we would not wait, in fact we will not go back. We look for our meals to be a family time- no electronics. The fact that I need to use an app to eat at a restaurant completely discourages me and takes away from the whole no electronics idea. Really... it's just plain stupid! Visiting this First Watch location has become a weekend staple for my family! I can honestly say there's been great consistency with getting seated in a reasonable time frame, the food tasting delicious and staff members being accommodating and friendly. I love the simple industrial farmhouse decor, the variety of menu items and the freshness of each dish. It's nice that this restaurant offers healthier brunch alternatives than most other eateries ( and having juice bar options is a plus too! ) We love First Watch and so glad we now have this new & closer location to enjoy. read more

Initially I was put off by the 20 minute wait time but once I got inside the atmosphere made you feel good to be there. I ordered the Floridian french toast, side of chicken sausage patties, & kale tonic and my husband ordered the Trifecta and substituted the regular bacon with the millionaire bacon. He enjoyed his meal and my french toast was such a large helping it was easy to split it with my 4 y/o. I would definitely go again! read more

3 of us where going to Texas Roadhouse (which is across the street) Friday night for dinner. It turned out to be so bad none of my family ( about 30 of us )will never go back there again. First watch for the most part is always great , the food the service , and the management is usually top notch.
