I just have a few questions to ask first watch. First of all, Why is your food so delicious every time I come? Second of all, why do you guys have the nicest most-kind servers in the triangle? Why is everything so neat and beautiful when I walk in? Literally there is nothing wrong whatsoever about any of the times I have visited this restaurant. As always, I got an order of their cheese grits (extra cheese duh), and this time I tried their elevated breakfast sandwich with an ice coffee. Normally when I order iced coffee from some breakfast places, it is so horrendous because they make you add your own sugar. However, First watch iced coffee came tasting amazing without me adding anything else. That's how I know I started my morning off right. The service was so fast, I was three sips into my coffee and then they came out with delicious food! The server informed me that her favorite item on the menu was also the cheese grits. I had a great conversation about how delicious they are, which made me feel so welcome. The sandwich was bomb. It came with bacon, over-easy egg, avocado, and cheese. I was drooling as I ate every single bite. First Watch makes me feel like I could eat there every single day with their outstanding menu options. They have almost anything you could want. Trust me, this is the best breakfast spot I've ever had. I love this place, and I dream about coming back every single day. read more

The pancake was deliciously buttery and fluffy! The bacon was also made to my liking-- crisp, salty (but not too salty) and sweet. The service was good and the food came out pretty quick. I will be going back for sure. read more

Excellent food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. We visited after our daughter's early morning college graduation. We were hungry, still groggy, and looking for somewhere to celebrate together. I had breakfast here this morning because I was in the area, and because there were no other sit-down breakfast options. I had the "tri-athlete' omelet. I was reluctant to eat here because all of my previous experiences with First Watch were very disappointing: North Raleigh, Glenwood, and High House Road. My meal took forever to arrive, and one bite was all I needed to push it aside. I nearly gagged! To their credit they comp'ed it, but getting a comp'ed meal is no substitute for getting an edible meal. Given my broad experience with bad food and service, First Watch will be my absolute last choice for a meal in the future. I am visiting and was really looking forward to breakfast in bed from first watch. I ordered it on Uber eats and no issues at all with driver. However, the restaurant gave me a struggling cup of fruit, no silverware, and ONE syrup for their thick French toast . My family and I (four people) got there just before noon. The host took my name and number and said she would message me when our table was ready. 30 minutes later, I got back in and ask if everything is okay - they forgot about us...no apologies, nothing. Then, we waited forever for our food. We finally got our food at 13:25. This was after I complained to the waitress. Another customer also complained and asked what was taking so long. My kids started getting cranky waiting so long for the food. I understand it was a holiday, but I've never experienced such terrible service. No apologies for the delays, nothing. And the manager is extremely rude. We are never returning and would rather spend our money elsewhere. read more

Convenient location close to Raleigh airport. We placed a large team order 2 days prior to pick up. The GM Cody was attentive, helpful and on time with our pick up. Having over 30 orders, labeled and hot is a tough ask!! First watch is always a food favorite but the service was the highlight of our visit. Cody met us at the door, the staff was courteous and assisted with our order without ask. This location is bright and located in a walkabout shopping area. Fresh food and great people. I usually don't write less than 5 star reviews but we've gotten to-go from this location multiple times and have usually been disappointed. On several occasions the iced coffee has been about 3/4 filled (half filled with cream), they've forgotten fruit/utensils/add. things on our order, eggs were over cooked, and most recently (kind of funny) their French toast "topped with whipped butter and powdered cinnamon sugar" did not quiiiiite live up to description (picture attached). Maybe I made a mistake ordering one of the basic options (the trio of waffle, egg, bacon) but I don't see why this place has so much praise. Waffle and bacon were alright, eggs were no good. Had breakfast here on Sunday. Staff was friendly and food was overall pretty good. The problem lies in the way the food was delivered to the table. Each person's meal came at different times and by the time everyone had their food it had been over ten minutes from the arrival of the first dish. Therefore, several people were completely finished eating by the time others got their food. If we had waited for all food to come out some people's food would have been cold. We came to break bread together not eat at separate times. When asked we were told this is how they always do it and they didn't care that we didn't eat together. Seems like a major flaw and one that will prevent me recommending or returning to this location. read more
