Came on a Saturday for brunch and the service was amazing despite it being incredibly busy. Our server was friendly and provided really good recommendations. Ordered the half sandwich (market veggie) half salad (chicken avocado chop) and added a soup (tomato basil) on the side and it was absolutely amazing. This is such a nice restaurant as it's just the right amount of festivity. It's a great place to hang out with family/friends too. I also added bacon to the market veggie and it's the perfect sandwich size that leaves you wanting to eat more. Went to First Watch Plano today. I ordered a chorizo omelet with potatoes as a side. The potatoes fried with onions were mostly burnt. My omelet had an over abundance of canned green chiles in it and very little else. The chiles weren't even warm. It was like they dumped a can right into the omelet! So much for "farm fresh"! The waitress was sweet and apologetic about the potatoes and offered to bring grits. They were good, except they had lumps of uncooked grits in the mix. My wife and I loved this place. Took a friend there and he was very impressed as well. I had the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and my wife had a breakfast burrito. Trust me, it didn't disappoint. I thought I'd still be hungry but I was full after those tacos. I also had an iced coffee. I'm a coffee snob so I wasn't expecting much. But somehow this was very refreshing and tasty. I was deeply impressed with it. Naturally, my favorite part was the friendly and helpful staff. The waitress made genuine suggestions on the food and was very helpful to all of us. We've been here a few times now and I've yet to leave a review. Overall the experience is pleasant. The waitstaff is always attentive and attentive. The food is okay and the coffee is decent enough. It's a pretty standard menu of breakfast/brunch items. The only real fault I can find is the food lacks any real seasoning. It's all pretty monotone or along the lines of something I could whip up at home, without the price tag. The kids waffles are pretty tasty though and I wish I had ordered that for myself. I'm giving three stars because we have gone several times and never had a HORRIBLE experience there but each item I've ordered a different menu items, it's meh and not mind blowing. read more

I ordered a Morning Market Veg Omlette with a side of hashed avacados. The food and the service was good, no complaints about it whatsoever. Towards the end of the meal I realized that I was eating a piece of meat. After a while I noticed that it was a piece of Chorizo. I can be certain about that because I generally eat meat, and I have eaten Chorizo in the past. There are some religious days on which I do not eat meat, and unfortunately this was one of those days. I reported this incident to the server and she in turn informed the manager. After a while she came back and apologized for what had happened, and told me that the manager can provide 20% discount for this incident. I said I am not looking for any discount as I had already eaten almost 95% of the meal, paid the bill in full along with the tip and left the place. I feel that the manager failed to do his duty over here. Ideally, he should have taken the responsibility of this, talked to me and maybe apologized for what had happened. But all he could do was send an offer of 20% discount through the server. I am NOT looking for any freebies, but the expectation is that all the customers are treated with respect. I would have given 4-stars for the food and service, but the way this incident was handled, I don't think they deserve more than 2-stars. read more

Wow, i was surprised to see this breakfast place pop up in Plano, surprised again to see that it was a chain, and then pleasantly surprised with the food and the price. All delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly. You get your check at the table and pay up front (I really like this system; no waiting on the server to get your card back). I really enjoyed my egg sandwich with generous amounts of avocado and thick sliced bacon. The potatoes were nicely seasoned as well! Make sure to give this place a try. The grits are served yellow and taste as if they are made with corn meal, they also offer cheese grits. The scrambled eggs are fresh, actually scrambled in the pan using whole eggs. Everything is fresh and made to order. The best experience was our server Danny . He is the best waitperson I have had in ages, constantly checking if everything was good, refilling drinks without having to be asked. I do believe this restaurant will help to revive this part of Plano in terms of places to dine in the area. I've finally found a place I can get biscuits and gravy!! I don't eat pork so I can never order this dish anywhere. When I saw that First Watch uses turkey sausage, I knew immediately I was ordering that. The dish is hearty enough on its own, but it also comes with potatoes! We went in on a busy Saturday, but since I checked in on Yelp, we had no wait once we got there. They have a great menu to choose from and really good healthy fair options if that's what you are looking for. My husband got the quinoa power bowl which was good (I snuck in a taste). I really enjoyed by biscuits and gravey with two over medium eggs. The table also ordered the veggie omelet which comes with potatoes and toast. My MIL got a "whipped" egg dish but it was like a scramble (not light and airy that comes to mind when you hear whipped). I am very sympathetic to the restaurant industry, between staffing and supply chain issues, it's a tough business to be in. I have never been an "upset customer" based on these circumstances. I will not make any assumptions about how first watch is doing in these areas, all I can do is tell you that for the second visit in a row I have had the same exact experience which is enough for me to never come back. Unexplainably slow service followed by cold food. For the second time I witnessed another table with the same amount of people seated after us, get served before us, get their drinks before us, get their food before us and are able to leave before us. It's hard not to get annoyed by that. I was with my daughter and ordered a kids pancake and I ordered oatmeal with a side of crispy bacon. I honestly can't think of a simpler order to expedite on their menu. The fact that it all came out cold leads me to believe it sat in the window waiting for service. Luckily my 5 year old could care less about a cold pancake but I personally prefer my bacon any other temperature but stone cold. It took forever to get new bacon, when it arrived it was soggy anything but crisp bacon. Round three was obviously my same bacon microwaved. I know this because we have all microwaved bacon and it comes out chewy, not crispy. The food here is not good, not even a little bit good. The service is worse (or my luck is because I saw others receive good service). I was charged for the bacon, by the way. Picture of the greasy plate of bacon I left behind for your viewing pleasure. You can't call ahead to get on the wait list but apparently you can get in line online through their app (didn't know that). With all due respect, I was extremely disappointed, bothered and feel ripped off. I recently made an order to pick up/to-go and when I ordered a salad online directly from the website, the order was missing complete food items. The salad I ordered was supposed to come with the sauce and the bread/toast but by the time I checked the bag, I saw and realized that there was no bread/toast or even the ranch sauce it was supposed to come with. Just that alone cost money to even add on any meal if I wanted more or to order but If I pay the full price (and it already comes with the bread/toast and the sauce), it should have been included in all of it when the order is made, like any order should. For example, if you went to Cane's and ordered the 5 piece (to-go/pickup) that already comes with the Cane's sauce and you only find out that you got a 3 piece with no sauce, it is extremely disappointing and bothering and ripped off because each item is a charge and to not have all the food that I ordered makes it feel like I was ripped off. That is a couple of dollars of food that I already paid for but was not given. That is like ordering or buying a car but it only came with 3 tires and no keys. Respectfully, I feel bothered and feel that I did not have a full order even though I paid for one. read more
