We came here on a whim when we were in town as the menu looked great. What an awesome decision this was. Upon entering the whole place has a 'mood' to it that feels cozy and homey and welcoming. The staff is so hospitable from the start that you feel like you're meant to be there. Smell of breakfast and coffee fills the air. We were seated immediately and within literally a few seconds our server brought us menus and some water, offering coffee. We opted for different drinks as we had coffee already and got them fairly quick. Our server accommodated our menu questions and even brought a special menu that listed whether foods had dairy or not. We got our food in maybe 5-10 minutes which felt fast. Despite the restaurant being completely full, and not a single spot in the parking lot, everything in First Watch felt as if it was a finely tuned well running machine - because it is. Dang, the meal was incredible! Seriously the best breakfast I have had, possibly ever. The bacon was crispy and dry, just as I love it, eggs were perfect, toast was fresh and flavorful (which is odd to write about toast) and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned, not overly but just right. We loved First Watch so much we sought it out in Tucson which was our next stop on the trip.

While on travel, I woke up wanting a good breakfast. We have a First Watch in Maryland that I've never visited so I thought I would try Phoenix location. I ordered the Waffle meal with scrambled eggs w/cheese and bacon and a side of turkey sausage. It was a very breakfast, but I'd prefer my cheese scrambled in my eggs and not just on top. Otherwise, it was very good. My eyes were bigger than my belly so I was unable to eat it all. Definitely recommend the waffle meal. I ordered through Door Dash, so I have no knowledge of the restaurant decor/ambiance.

I love the view of the restaurant

First Watch is always a perfect spot for a cozy and satisfying brunch. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs cooked just right, and the avocado toast was creamy and delicious. Their fresh juices were light, refreshing, and the perfect match for brunch. And the Blueberry Lemon Cornbread... wow. It was absolutely amazing. Warm, moist, and packed with juicy blueberries, with a bright hint of lemon that made every bite so comforting and not overly sweet. Topped with that soft, melty butter mix with lemon in the butter , it was honestly the highlight of the meal and a must-try if you visit. Friendly service, warm atmosphere, and consistently great food . First Watch never disappoints.

I ordered the power breakfast quinoa bowl and it was such an underrated dish!! I was prepping for an upcoming trip so needed something that didn't put me to sleep. This gave me lots of every and kept me full all day! The mushrooms were delicious, along with the crunch of the kale. I would get this again. The service was friendly, and I enjoyed First Watch's usual homey feels.

My party and I, thought that this place was very cute and cozy. And the food was incredible. But we felt the service was slightly slow and they forgot something that we ordered.

We came here the day we arrived in Phoenix because it was close to where we were staying and needed something filling. First Watch is a reliable chain with consistent brunch quality in its locations. This location has a ton of seating, but the parking lot is small. We came in on a Saturday of a holiday weekend and there wasn't a wait! Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick. I ordered the elevated egg sandwich with seasoned potatoes on the side. The sandwich was good, especially since I was expecting an overcooked egg, but the yolk ran when I cut it in half, making it a bit messy to eat but nothing too bad. The other toppings were nice and balanced, so the sandwich didn't feel too heavy. It's a filling sandwich and great for when you've come from a flight. The potatoes were nice but a bit too salty.

Great brunch spot! Came on a Sunday, didn't even wait, was seated right away. Tables were clean and already set pretty quickly, and the servers were friendly and efficient Servers were friendly and food came out quick. I ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict. I mean, put a hollandaise sauce and an avocado on anything, and the whole dish just tastes delicious! We sat outside, the weather was perfect for it. Plenty of parking too.

There's a good reason people are waiting outside to get in on the weekends. Homemade breakfast and lunch served quickly with ample portions. The variety of healthy items made this spot suitable for vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free diners. The giant pancakes, breakfast tacos and eggs Benedict were the favs. Slight alterations to entrées were welcomed with a smile and servers kept the hot coffee and tea coming! There are some great unique healthy juice offerings as well!

The food is good but today while having a late breakfast here we had an unusual experience. I've been here a handful of times and it's always uneventful (which is a good thing). I enjoy the options here and how it's a bit healthier as you get a side with your eggs Benedict and I feel like the food here never leaves me feeling too weighed down. Today, however, I was yelled at by your server, Lauren when discussing the tea options with my child. At first I thought, perhaps I'm being sensitive but then I noticed what a difference there was in the tone after this one interaction. I even left without leaving a tip as I refuse to tip a person who speaks at me if I was their child when I wasn't even speaking to her, to begin with. I probably won't be eating at this First Watch again.

[Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

It's a fantastic coffee shop designed with simplicity and producivity in mind - hosted in a gorgeous building with exposed brick and ceilings, which give it an industrial feel. My take on the space was it breathes this interesting balance of lingering, connection with others, and productivity. Almost every seat had a corresponding table, so that's a warm invitation to bring your devices in. There was a Ducati (!!!) parked right across from the coffee bar, which I later learned belongs to the owner just sharing his passion with the coffee community. Small detail, but it says something about the place. Definitely not a coffee shop trying to be a copy and paste chain. Menu had a few creative options I wouldn't mind coming back to try. They've also got their own merch line; the cups were also designed well enough that you'd actually want to keep one. There's street art right across from the shop worth a look if you've got a few minutes to spare. If you don't mind a short drive for a great cup and a space that actually feels lived in, this one delivers. PS - Parking can be tricky. It looks like there's ample space to park, but a lot of that is for Galvanize and the offices in the building. Towing trucks come over often, so heads up if you're going to park there. I like that you can add more syrup to up the sweetness, but it will cost ya. TOUCH GRASS (seasonal)- this strawberry match had a nice sweet and bitter balance of the matcha. The creaminess also mellowed out the whole drink. It is very mild with the strawberry so the sweetness was subtle. Not bad, but depending if you want more strawberry flavor you should add extra shot of strawberry syrup. Overall I think it was a really good strawberry matcha; one of the best I've had. The inside is large and spacious but very sterile like a museum. It kinda gave a cold ambiance. The only downside is that the parking lot is not huge. The spaces in the actual lot are very sparse. The side lot for parking is inconvenient as you have to walk around the long fence just to go in, so trying to get in and out quickly might be a problem. You can definitely get your coffee buzz here, but just remember folks, buzzed driving is caffeinated driving.

She didn't offer a refund, which is fine, but she asked before we left "what can I do to make it right since you paid for it?" You could have offered a refund but you so it's fine. Went somewhere else to get the kind of experience I want. It was $15 for two coffees, a $1 extra charge for alternative milk and an add shot of espresso. They also say they don't allow dogs but they allow "service" dogs and there was clearly a dog there that wasn't a service dog wearing a service dog jacket, but he kept shaking his fur all over the coffee bar. The woman who had him was letting people pet it and the dog was licking stuff off the floor and also smelling a people as they walked by. Clearly not a service dog. Would never recommend getting coffee here.

The vibe is really nice and chill outside and as you walk in. It is very clean. I love that there was so many different people they're studying and reading and you can tell that there was some groups that were meeting up there for like a book club, and just to have a drink! so it's really nice to know that you can have a little community inside of this nice clean coffee spot! So as I said, I got the mango black tea and it was very strong. I didn't even drink the whole thing you couldn't tell that it was mango. It just tasted like harsh, strong tea, one of the other girls in the group went back up they had to remake her coffee. They said that there was a new employee working there and they were sorry. Which is totally understandable, but at the same time I think each one of us had an uncertain experience with flavor of our drinks where it was like either the coffee was too strong. The tea was too strong unflavored for mine. So the mango black tea is unsweet and normally I love unsweet tea. That's all I get, but this tea just did not do it for me. I give it a four star because of the cleanliness and the workers are sweet and I love the environment, but the product itself I was not impressed with.
