The food is very good and has many unique menu items that you don't see at other restaurants. For example, I like the avocado toast option, and the million dollar bacon is "to die for"! The only drawback (but it's a good sign) is that they are usually very busy and the service is occasionally a bit slow. However, the quality of the food makes up for it in a big way. read more

Definitely my favorite spot EVER to have breakfast! They have something for everyone to chose from and it always tastes so fresh and delicious! The juices are phenomenal, I get the Kale Tonic every single visit and it honestly makes the meal! The atmosphere is amazing and the service is always great. It is also very clean which anyone can appreciate! I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch!!! 10/10 from me! read more

I typically love First Watch but this one in Oro Valley has lowered it's customer service and the experience. From start to finish service is very slow. I have also experienced warm food. Not what you would expect from a quality dine in breakfast location. read more

I tried this place Friday and wasn't really sure but my mother in law and wife told me to try it out. WOW!!! I love the pancakes, home fries, bacon & eggs/cheese/onion combo. It was Awsome, the pancakes are delicious and a good size. Kids got waffles, wife ordered pancakes and everyone enjoys there meals. I would recommend this place read more

Hands down my new favorite Breakfast spot! Great selection, excellent healthy options. Super fresh ingredients which the chef and cooks make magic with. Fresh juices made on site are a MUST HAVE, refreshing! Love the modern farm chic look of the restaurant, and enjoyed the friendly smiling staff I will be back for sure! read more

I love the Rooney Ranch location! Service is always amazing and even when it's busy all the staff is professional and swift on their feet. My favorite server is Alexis, she is always so kind and helpful when I am ordering, she really exemplifies the standard of excellence there. I usually get coffee but last time I ate she recommended I try the Watermelon Wakeup. I'm glad she suggested it because it was really refreshing! read more

First Watch - Mexican Street Corn Hash - Cafes Near Me - Oro Valley, Arizona

Excellent breakfast. We have been here three times. Pancakes were very good. Standard eggs, bacon, toast was tasty. Bacon has molasses and has a little bite. Juices are healthy. Crowded most of the time but tables turn quickly. Prices are in the higher tier. Upper $20's for two including tip. read more

We found it on Yelp. Gave it a try. My wife had salmon friccatta. I had eggs Benedict blt. My father in law had the biscuits and gravy. My mother in law had the eggs Benedict Florentin. It was so good we came back the second day. Everyone agreed it was great food. My only advice is the biscuits are big for the amount of gravy and just a little dry if you get them with butter and honey. Coffee was above average and service both days was excellent. We even had the manager stop by 3 times and bragged on the staff. read more

Great food, great service!! Large portions, good coffee. Long lines move quick, so don't let a long waitlist scare you off!

We met some family here fir breakfast while we were traveling through Oro Valley, Arizona. By the looks of how busy it was on a Friday morning we knew it must be a good spot, and we were not disappointed. A great menu with some unusual, but very tasty items. Lots of healthy options and some decadent ones. Despite being very busy, we had a very attentive waiter. Service was good and we enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back when we're in the area and would highly recommend this place. read more

Sorry. But I've given this place more than one try. Plenty of other options in the area that have better service.

Great food and friendly staff. It's clearly a chain that knows how to deliver a top notch product. It's a $10 breakfast before adding coffee so it's a bit on the high side but the ingredients and choices make up for it completely. Even on weekdays, the place can fill by 9. read more

The best pancakes ever All different kinds and all of them are yummy. Service is great and friendly. Definitely worth recommending to friends & relatives. read more

This place is the best ..... everything made just right ..... I don't know what more a place can do to satisfy an hungry customer ....

Our go-to place for breakfast. Consistently great food, coffee and service. It's hard to find quality, fresh food around here so it's nice to have First Watch in OV. I've never had a bad meal here. I usually stick with the avocado toast or the skillets. Pancakes are awesome. Fluffy and light and not too bready. The fresh juice is excellent; I always get the kale tonic. It's earthy but a little sweet and a little tangy. Healthy portions of food leave us feeling full and satisfied when we leave. LOVE using the app. So convenient and helpful. I also love all the coupons I get in my email. Keeps me coming back for sure. I have two critiques about this location: 1) They always seem understaffed and in the weeds. While the service is never bad, the staff always looks rushed and there never seems to be a management presence. Tables will sit dirty for awhile and the servers are trying to juggle checking people in and out while serving tables at the same time. Kind of chaotic. 2) I HATE the music that is always playing. When I'm trying to enjoy a great breakfast and drink a good cup of coffee and converse with family and friends, I don't want to listen to Rihanna and Justin Bieber. Please change it to some nice soft coffee house music or something that doesn't have loud beats. It's very annoying and not what I want to listen to while eating breakfast. read more

Kitchen was backed up. We had an hour wait after we ordered. So disappointing. Servers were embarrassed.

Great food! Love the healthy unique choices of food they offer, not to mention that the flavors pop. Can't get bored with this menu. Recommendation: AvoToast-Bomb. read more

First Watch - Here's a pic of the AvoToast. The fact that it's gone should tell it all; I couldn't wait it is so good. For the AvoLovers, Trust. - Cafes Near Me - Oro Valley, Arizona

Came to pickup my order, a hostess went to go check on it, and I've been standing here for over 10 minutes without seeing her ever again, and no additional help. My order is now currently 10 minutes past it's due pickup time. Don't waste your time here... read more

Sitting at my table for 15 minutes and not one server came. Went up to the host to tell them we haven't got anybody coming to us and all she said was "ok". Pretty terrible if you ask me. read more

Hate it! I went there with my toddler and ordered a juice. placed our order which was slightly specific (no bacon), no big deal (I guess just to me) they brought the food out and I politely asked them if they could remake my daughter's food because they had put the bacon in it. The woman sighed and took the dish to the kitchen, then brought the same dish back to my table with a manager claiming there was no bacon in it. I picked up a piece of it and showed It to the woman and she said it was a crispy potato...well... im not an idiot and can tell a crispy potato from a piece of meat and I do not give my daughter bacon. SO we shared my breakfast and about 20 minutes later I get the simple breakfast bowl I had originally asked for right about as we were ready to leave. Food was nothing I couldn't make at home, juice was $6 and small and obviously the service was less than. read more

The couple of times I have eaten at First Watch - the food is fair at best. Today we celebrated a birthday at this location. The food was fair. The tomato soup tastes like Campbells tomato soup, the bloody mary was horrible, we wanted some more coffee but never got any and my food was cold. There are so many incredible brunch places to eat but this isn't one of them. read more

Went in to get breakfast today, had one person acknowledge me and continue to not help me, and although there was a manager at the front computers, the whole time it was a while before she decided to help me, her phone was more interesting I guess. As for the food, my order was missing my sides, and my silverware. But, I was still charged for everything. The eggs were cold but at least the waffle was good so I'll give them two stars. read more

Just stopped in with my 8 year old to eat breakfast. I simply asked if I could switch the table for a booth, after trying to sit in the chair (I'm 9 months pregnant and due in 10 days.) The gentleman that I asked about a booth asked me "are you sure you're going to fit?" Of course I can still fit in a booth, super rude and inconsiderate to even bring it up. So we left. I'll give my money to somewhere that doesn't passive aggressively attacks people on their size. Won't be returning. read more

First Watch is awesome! Yes awesome! Took some friends from out of town there 3 wks. ago. IWell, I had the Blueberry pancakes...side bacon.. crispy. .My all time favorite breakfast and was not disappointed! My girlfriends had the Traditional Breakfast, Plus pumpkin pancakes!! Whoa! That's a lot of good food and they cleaned their plates!! Yummy..yum..yummy. Service was quick and very friendly. Going back tomorrow for their special Blueberry Pancakes!! this place.. The food is good The service could be better. A lot of retirees go here and I noticed they don't treat the elderly as kindly as they should. You do have to wait a bit on a Sunday to be seated. read more

One of our favorite places to go for a hot, home-cooked breakfast. Delicious food, reasonable prices and attentive staff. Be prepared to wait for a table, especially on weekends. They are popular for a reason! read more

My first and last visit to First Watch. It took 40 min to get my food and the place wasn't even that busy. Food was ok but it was probably because I had to wait so long. I'm sure management won't reply to this because they don't really care about customer service. read more

My favorite place ever! Morning meditation, million dollar bacon and the Elevated Egg Sandwich!

Decent food, not so great service.....after several attempts they never seem to rise above the choas and confusion and remember that the customer needs attention and service. Mgmt needs to assess and correct a bevy of service issues. 5 attempts over a year, pre and post COVID, and nothing changes. Rid yourselves of surly, inappropriate personnel, get back on track, and you will not see these kind of reviews. read more

i love first watch!! Good variety of menu options, lovely ambiance, and everything I've tried is delicious, especially the eggs Benedict and their juices. I've had a few different servers and they're all great but Mer is next level! read more

Great brunch place. Typically very busy. Food is good with large portions. Chain restaurant with multiple locations.

Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Food choices were amazing! I had the super seed pancakes - love the crunch and the fruit toppings. No need to add maple syrup that was available on the table. I also had the Morning Meditation fresh juice drink - so yummy! My husband had the traditional Eggs Benedict which was served on ciabatta roll. Plenty of ham and sauce served with home skillet potatoes. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Highly recommend. read more

We frequent this place as a family, and whenever I am in town. Surprisingly there isn't one in Las Vegas, but we have a plethora of breakfast joints. Anyways, I enjoy this restaurant. Service is generally good. Sometimes a bit slow, but when brunching that's not usually a concern. All the employees are very friendly and eager to answer any question about the menu, or substitute anything. At First Watch, pretty much whatever you want can be substituted for something else. The food is delicious. There are lots of healthy options, and the usual rich brunch favorites. Also, because of their flexibility, you could potentially make a rather calorie heavy meal into a healthier, lighter option. For instance subbing potatoes in a dish for black beans. Their scrambles are TO DIE FOR. I always order one and can't seem to break away since I discovered it. The biscuits are great, but the homemade jelly you get might even be better. I could drink it, and maybe have... When you order coffee they leave the pot at your table (my favorite thing in the world). Also, First Watch is one of the rare breakfast places that still has the little assorted half & half bowl on the table (another thing that I love). Given that Oro Valley is lacking in breakfast places, go to First Watch. With the beautiful view of the Catalina mountains and proximity to Oracle, why the heck not? read more

Excellent breakfast and lunch. Salads are top shelf. Potatoes are a bit salty. Bacon is very good.

My family from out of town came in today to have lunch. They were sat and ignored for a full 15 min and people sat after them were waited on. They got up and left with no acknowledgement. They weren't even brought waters. Embarrassing! read more
